Three color tests (non final but far along) for the first monster lore comics ' Coin Eater' that I'm going to try to do! The lore comics will be btwn 15-20 pages each and when they are finished -put together in either a large hardcover book or several small soft copies in  a shelled sleeve of some sort. That's getting ahead of myself tho- first color tests.1st- more of a risograph feel, two split colors  + black and white. possibly shifted to cream and blue.2nd- dim pastel feeling with slight color shifts, lower contrast. spots of cream and bright blue.3rd- full range of contrast but still muted and mostly dusty cools since the comic takes place in the middle of an ice valley/frozen lake.Leaning towards #2. Going to finish inking a few more pages then do some finals in one of these styles. Final comic will be posted in full for patrons as it's completed <3

I think a combination of 2 and 3 would be pleasing, too; I like the vast cold white spaces of #2 for the spread, but the deeper values of #3 give the smaller panels a lot of richness.

I think #2 fits your setting, and I have to say that the contrast in #3 is so rich and eye-catching that it drew me right to it.

Oh, this is beautiful! <3 I think I like #2 the best as well, but #3 is also really cool!

I think I enjoy "light" #2 the most. These are GORGEOUS so far, I cannot wait to draw fan art, you know it's coming.

#3 I really love the darker cool colors.
