Nice to see that the whole rib showing thing isn't present in this one, looks so much better for it.

ULLA PEPPA ! ! ! = ❤ ☐ ❤ =

Kyle

I agree. I personally think that she looks better without her ribs showing, but I could also imagine Rarity being the kind of girl that would make absolutely sure that there isn't a single gram of fat on her stomach, so I really can't blame Racoon-kun for drawing the swimsuit picture the way he did. It makes sense for her character, in a way.

Grant Hynd

so she would be skin and bones then? I don't see that as how her character would be myself, more voluptuous would make sense

FlappyShy

uh,why are you trying to make her fat? The tiny bit of ribs in the previous "stretching" pose is necessary. Now she is curling inward, with your logic, you want to see Her belly fat wrinkle?

Grant Hynd

Fat? Who said anything about that, that’s not even what voluptuous means

FlappyShy

You of course, on the "Eg-swimsuit-Rarity", you commented that you prefer not to see small waist and rib lines at all. But any normal weight person will show a bit of rib posing like that, the picture was perfectly drawn. And now you bringing up the rib line thing again, so I have to make sure Racoon-kun doesn't get confused by you. Voluptuous is just a polite way to say fat, that the way it is, because other wise people will just use the word sexy.

Grant Hynd

I never was concerned about the waist, I brought up the ribs showing, that was my only issue, and if you see Voluptuous as fat, that's on you not me, the official definition is curvaceous and sexually attractive, which fits perfectly for a character like Rares.

Kyle

Voluptuous: suggesting sensual pleasure by fullness and beauty of form -Merriam Webster.

I have to admit, though... I sort of just assumed that the ribs were an intentional design choice that was meant to make some sort of statement. I never thought about the possibility of it being a realistic detail that was added in due to it being something that should have been visible as a result of her figure and her pose. Honestly, the way that most people draw unreasonably perfect figures in this fandom has made me practically forget what "realistic" even looks like anymore.
