I imagine that Twilight's magic requires her to consciously hold two different things up in the air, namely Sunset and herself. I don't think that it's a magical field that can be disrupted. So actually, YOU would be the one to fall, unless Twilight is feeling kind enough to add you into the mix. That's just my headcanon though lol.

Nah, you wouldn't need to hold on. Twilight's magic is strong enough that she could just sandwich you in between them tightly enough that you wouldn't be going anywhere.
