Chapter 182: Neji Accepts Hamura's Blessing
"Sawada-sensei."
After arriving at a certain location, before Sawada could speak, Neji had already opened his mouth.
However, for a moment he didn't know what to say.
"Don't worry, the head of the Hyuga clan has asked me to train you properly. You won't have to attend all the family training sessions anymore," Sawada said with a wave of his hand.
Since Hiashi had already explained so much. As Neji's teacher, he naturally couldn't refuse. Just like with Hinata, Neji only had to participate in the family competitions.
After all, no matter what, in order for Hiashi to deal with the main family members, there had to be some results.
Neji frowned slightly, looking at Hiashi with contemplation.
Perhaps he had once had such thoughts before, but his teacher had told him.
Without the ability, don't voice your thoughts. That was courting death.
Moreover, it had always been Hiashi who secretly took care of him. Otherwise, given Neji's demeanor, how could he have lived so peacefully these past few years, even attending the Academy like Hinata?
You must know, this was a privilege only main family disciples could enjoy.
Sawada then began instructing Neji, not to mention that the Hyuga Clan's taijutsu had formed its own unique style.
The Inch Force Eight Gates in Sawada's hands was as profound as the Eight Gates.
Some of its techniques could directly counter the Gentle Fist, and Sawada himself was already a taijutsu master.
This was also thanks to the rewards brought by Hinata. Otherwise, Sawada would really have to think carefully about how to teach Neji.
Watching Neji, sweating profusely yet still persisting, Sawada had no intention of stopping, because Neji was now training.
Unlike before in the family, now he had his own goals.
Combined with Sawada himself showing no mercy, Neji felt his horizons greatly broadened.
BANG!
When Neji finally exhausted his chakra, he felt dizzy.
Then he collapsed to the ground.
Sawada shook his head and chuckled lightly. This kid was really stubborn.
He got up and helped Neji to a tree, letting him rest in the shade.
After a while, Neji came to his senses, opened his eyes, and saw the water bottle being handed to him.
Neji felt momentarily dazed. How long had it been?
Only when his father was still alive would such actions occur.
"Thank you, sensei."
Neji got up and accepted it, thanking him solemnly.
Sawada waved his hand helplessly. This disciple was good in every aspect, just a bit like the old man.
He was too rigid about these old-fashioned rules. Sawada still preferred Naruto and Shikamaru's approach.
Seeing Neji recover, Sawada stood up, sensed the surrounding environment, and then quickly formed hand seals with all ten fingers.
"Ninjutsu: Netherworld Invisible Realm."
A perception-blocking sealing technique enveloped them, and Sawada finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Only Neji looked confused, not knowing what Sawada was about to do.
"Neji, I hope you can keep everything that follows forever in your heart."
After Sawada finished all the preparations, he turned to Neji with a serious expression.
"Yes! Sensei!"
Although Neji didn't know what it was, he immediately nodded in response.
Ah, Neji was almost on par with Naruto. Both put so much faith in his words, though he never realized just how charismatic he truly was.
Sawada playfully patted Neji's head, then flicked his wrist.
A light orb emitting gold and silver radiance appeared. As soon as the orb appeared, Neji's body began trembling uncontrollably.
A surge in his bloodline made Neji sense that this object could help him break free from his inherited limitations.
"Sensei, what is this?" Neji asked, his face serious as he looked at Sawada.
Although he didn't know what this thing was, Sawada's serious expression indicated this matter was not simple.
"This is something that can restore your bloodline to its original state and unlock your true potential," Sawada said with a smile as he observed Neji.
"I can't accept it," Neji replied after a long pause, shaking his head.
Though his body urged him to grasp the object, he resisted, sensing the weight of the matter. He didn't understand why his sensei possessed such an item, but he knew it was no ordinary thing.
Instead of using it himself, he felt Sawada should leverage it for greater benefit with the clan. After all, Sawada was already a Jonin, and using this gift to secure the Hyuga Clan's favor seemed wiser.
Sawada playfully tapped Neji's forehead with two fingers and said, "Sensei's gift must never be refused."
"Listen to me first."
Seeing that Neji still wanted to object, Sawada directly raised his hand to stop him.
"This can only be used by you and Hinata," Sawada explained. "But before I came here, I asked Hinata. Do you know what she said?"
Neji was stunned, though not naive. Sawada's words suggested Lady Hinata had already refused the blessing and given it to him. But why?
Obviously, Lady Hinata, as the main family heir, would solidify her position by accepting it.
"She said that, as her older brother, Neji, you needed this chance more than she did," Sawada said bluntly. The Hyuga siblings' relationship was indeed complicated.
Hearing this, Neji was completely stunned, his pupils contracting uncontrollably.
The scene of first seeing Hinata as a child, and everything that happened afterward, instantly flooded his mind.
He had been harsh with Hinata ever since Hizashi passed away.
So why would she still extend him such a rare chance?
"Sensei wants you to understand that not all main family members are as you think; at least, Hinata isn't," Sawada said gently.
"Going forward, when you consider your actions, Sensei hopes you will take Hinata's feelings into account."
"But this doesn't mean you must accept things as they are, because true growth comes from breaking free of your limitations."
After finishing his words, Sawada raised the glowing orb and pressed it gently against Neji's forehead.
A faint hum resonated, and Neji felt an indescribable wave. Thankfully, Sawada had activated a perception-blocking technique beforehand.
TThe wave that touched the isolation barrier vanished instantly. Neji closed his eyes tightly, embracing the blessing.
Watching this, Sawada rose to his feet, aware that the blessing had begun to take root within Neji.
It didn't grant immediate power, but instead settled deep inside, enabling Neji to awaken the Tenseigan through his own efforts, fueled by this blessing.
After some time, Neji opened his eyes, appearing unchanged. Yet Sawada noticed a new fire burning in Neji's gaze.
"How do you feel?" Sawada asked, his voice calm as he lifted the perception-blocking seal.
"Byakugan: Activate!" Neji called out softly, extending a single finger. The veins around his eyes swelled dramatically, and a sudden exclamation escaped his lips.
"This!"
