Tekken 8: Lidia Gameplay Trailer! (Patreon)

In today's Combo Breaker Finals, Harada and Murray presented the full gameplay trailer for the much-awaited Polish Karateka, Lidia Sobieska! I've been waiting for this all weekend, and happily I was not disappointed. The trailer is almost 3 minutes long and chock full of Lidia's hard-hitting moves, her intros and rival cutscenes and some win screens.

I am sure there are fans of her Tekken 7 look, but I for one am glad she now has the regular footguards instead of the odd sole-less sandal-things she had in T7. I am sure these will return as her throwback/classic costume.

Lidia looks to have gotten back a lot of her moves from before, including the stances (which I really love) and her parries. Not sure if her voice actress is the same, but she sounds very close to before.

Feet-wise, while her CG render/art shows some nice, detailed feet- don't be fooled. Her in-game feet are still the same default feet, which of course we'll replace with our Feet Overhaul mod once she releases and the mod is updated to include her. I cannot wait to play with her, and I'm looking forward to the KOs both she is going to dish out and take once she arrives. For now, we have a nice, long trailer to tide us over, but hopefully she comes to us sooner rather than later.
