Tekken 8 Cosplay: Gina Chamber (Undead Unluck) (Patreon)

We've got another anime-based cosplay feature here for Tekken 8, this time with the lovely android Alisa Bosconovitch, which is not common. This time we're taking a character from Undead Unluck, an anime/manga about super-powered individuals, secret organizations battling behind the scenes and time travel- pretty cool stuff. Our featured character is Gina Chamber, a woman with the power of 'Unchange' which lets her freeze time (I think).

In any case, i saw anime clips of her and saw that she's basically dressed in a Japanese-style uniform characterized mainly by her wearing thigh-high stirrups, so she's barefoot by default and even has scenes that really focused on her bare feet which made me pretty interested in her. Her design was pretty easy to put together in Character Customization, with the blazer with tie, pleated skirt (miniskirt) and a long hairstyle. A bit trickier were the stirrups, which I used an old mod for that pretty much gets it exactly. One last aspect of her was that she had a comically huge hat or beret, which I represented with the Mishima Ring accessory (Tekken Shop item).

Alisa was chosen mostly for her quirky 'magic' fighting style to represent Gina's powers, but apparently both Gina and Alisa come from Russia, so that's a cool little extra.

So Gina was an enemy to the series' protagonists early on, having a bit of a past with the Undead hero Andy (played here by another 'living corpse', Bryan Fury). She unfortunately doesn't survive the ensuing battle, but since this a time-traveling anime she later apparently comes back as an ally.

Haven't gone into the series after Gina's arc in the anime, but then we got all we need with this cute but deadly barefoot baddie. Expect to see Gina here in action from here on, and stay tuned for more barefoot Tekken 8 cosplays soon.
