Happy Birthday, Lidia Sobieska! (Patreon)

Apparently today is the special day for Tekken 8's one and only Warrior Prime MInister- Lidia Sobieska! Warrior PM? More like Warrior Queen!

Lidia fast became a fave of mine when she first appeared in Tekken 7. Karate is one of the fighting styles in beat 'em ups that I really like (mainly due to barefoot gis), and even though Lidia's outfits were disappointing- like, really Tekken Devs? A Karateka with no proper barefoot Gi- the character herself was exceptional. Being an actual head of state of a country was, well, different. Also different at the time was the look of her character model. She was noticeably a bit more finessed and crafted back then. Something about her was special, and I wanted to see more of her.

Fast forward to Tekken 8, and our Warrior PM is back and has gotten a makeover and glow-up! Early on, some dismissed T8 Lidia as being a Nina clone. Well, sucks to be them- Lidia blew us all away not only with her striking good looks but her unique, ripped and muscled physique. THIS is how you do Muscle Beauties, not like some masculine behemoth like in some other game that I will not name. Lidia was impressive visually, and even more gameplay-wise. With new stances and moves that make her a true threat (especially with Heat), she is a deep, complex fighter that I have grown to consider as one of my Mains. Story-wise, I hope she has further roles to play in upcoming chapters of the continuing Tekken saga.

Oh yeah, apparently it was Alisa's birthday recently too, but unfortunately I was kinda busy with having mods fixed, so, um, sorry Alisa- and belated Happy Birthday...
