Fatal Fury COTW Season 2 Reveal Trailer! (Patreon)

Well, cat's out of the bag- well, the wolf is out of the bag in this case- SNK just posted the trailer for Season 2 of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

The characters are Kim Jae Hoon, the other son of Kim Kaphwan. Nightmare Geese- yep, he's still dead but also still around. Blue Mary- Terry Bogard's lady and undercover cop is ready to bring justice to Southtown. Finally, Wolfgang Krauser returns seeking new opponents to test his strength on. Starting this January it seems we'll be having a fighter released every month, which is fantastic (and definitely throws SF6 a gauntlet). Apart from these initial four, there are two other fighters that are coming for this Season, though they haven't been revealed in the trailer.

That said, I think these two other characters have already been revealed via teasers released by SNK coming up to today. Thus, its almost certain that the two hidden fighters are Mr. Karate and Kenshiro.

Mr. Karate is the mysterious, powerful fighter wearing the tengu mask. In the past, it was Takuma Sakazaki, the father of Art of Fighting's Ryo Sakazaki, behind the mask. However this time it may be Ryo himself.

Kenshiro, of course, needs no introduction- if the recent teaser released is to be believed, the Hero of the classic manga/anime Fist of the North Star is coming to Southtown. How this can happen with Kenshiro being, well, from a post-apocalyptic future remains to be seen. But hey, if Streetfighters' Ken and Chun-Li can come, why not Kenshiro?

This is perfect timing now that I've decided to come back to this game- still annoyed at the extremely small number of babes, but what can you do. Hopefully we'll see more ladies in the future... so let's support this game so we get to a Season 3 someday. For now, enjoy the rather slick trailer.
