New Dead or Alive Game Announced! DOA is ALIVE! (Patreon)

The new Playstation State of Play (still ongoing as of this writing) just revealed at least one bombshell of a teaser- Tecmo KOEI just announced updates for their fighting game franchise, Dead or Alive! DOA is not dead after all!

First off, Dead or Alive 6 will be getting updates- an improved Photo Mode (with pose editor of some sort), and apparently more content coming. The update is for PS5, but may also include PC.

But even more exciting is the video shown above- Yep, a NEW Dead or Alive fighter has been teased- Dead or Alive 7? What else can it be? All we got now is a teaser with Ryu Hayabusa and a new(?) ninja girl. Her costume color suggests its Kasumi, but why are they concealing her face? Maybe they are giving the girls a new look?

Anyway, this is fantastic news, even if the game is probably still a ways off. We can at least look forward to a refreshed DOA6 along with the other new stuff coming for fighters in the months to come.

Let's just hope they have better feet...
