Happy Birthday, Makoto: The Girl with Pure Karate Sole! (Patreon)

So I found out that July 1 is the birthday of none other than our favorite Streetfighter Karateka, Makoto Rindou! I can definitely say that this Gi-clad Tomboy has been in many a gamers' heart ever since she arrived in Streetfighter 3: Third Strike so many years ago. Since then, she appeared in Streetfighter IV, which was awesome, but of course we want more.

While Season 4 has yet again failed to bring back our Karate Tomboy, don't fret- no, not because we got a Filipino Makoto-like in Yasmine- its because apparently Streetfighter 6 is going to continue on for at least the next few years (up to 10 years according to SF6 producer Nakayama). So chances are, sooner or later, we'll probably maybe hopefully someday see the Mak return.

For now though, finding out that its Makoto's special day made me want to do some clips with her, so I got a character art of Makoto (I believe its her SF4 art?) and made it the starting point. First off, I had to complete it and give her legs and feet. Had to also note the knee patches on her pants (something I believe was in her SF4 version.

Then we made our clips with Grok Imagine's Image to Video. Clip 1 and 2 has Makoto doing a kata, throwing punches then finishing with a ferocious kick at the camera that gives us a royal view of her beautiful sole (yeah, Grok makes pretty, pretty feet).

Clip 3 and 4 have Makoto suddenly falling unconscious to the floor, inevitably giving us our feet and sole shot. I think the first one has a nice final view, but the KO in the last clip is nice with her closing her eyes and going quiet before slumping to the floor.

Finally, Clip 5 has the confident Karate Girl declaring she's going to crush us under her feet- something we of course are thrilled with. This confuses and shocks her, causing her to faint and give us, yep, a wonderful sole shot.

It's been a while since we had some Barefoot KO content with Makoto- hopefully someday, we get KOs for her in actual SF6, right? Keep your fingers crossed for our Karate Kid to come back in the near future. For now, enjoy the clips!
