Finally done!  I tried to do something a little different with this one given that it's a bit of a goofy topic ;)  Thanks for your support and seeing how a lot of you are already Nebula supporters, no charge :)

Th next YouTube video is going to be really exciting - I'll update you shortly :)

Thanks,

Gabe

Update: Patreon supporters get a backstage pass to my latest Nebula release — early, free, and unfiltered. Once a new video goes live, the previous one moves to Nebula, where the full collection lives and supports the channel directly.

Nebula rocks, for anyone on the fence, you should definitely get on board. Great content and a fraction of the cost of any streaming service. I love using it in my classroom too!

Adam Lane

That is without a doubt your best video yet. The production values put much bigger budget TV and streaming documentaries to shame. I'm proud to support you.

Gabriel Orosco

Outstanding work. Really wish to see more pictures of the carrier version.

Keely Hughes

Is the reason they didn’t turn on nuclear power til 20,000 feet, is it because they never solved the radiation problem with nuclear powered jet engines?

Sam Wise

In the video they say that it's to allow sufficient time to shutdown if needed in case of an accident. I could also believe there is an efficiency tradeoff over jet fuel at various atiltudes

Who was the TV presenter? Great addition. I'd love to know how they planned on rearming the fighters though...

Mustard

Rearming fighters is not explained anywhere. so it's a big question mark. As you get into the details, the more goofty the whole idea get slol. The actor is Peter Baker, who used to be a news presenter for BBC

Mustard

I'll make some wallpapers :)

Fabulous production! Quick note on a small voice over error though, at ~7:20 the presenter quotes the nuclear output at "eighteen thousand mega-watt" when I think he should be saying "eighteen hundred mega-watt" to align with the text on the screen.

Brian Barnes

Those renders of the CL-1201 were slick!

Bob Johnson

Incredible production value and a very interesting topic. I don't think my jaw can drop any further!
