That day remains etched in my memory, one of those unexpected, serendipitous moments that take you by surprise. I was going through an old box, looking for some family albums to show to a friend. You know, those good old days when photos were printed and not just lost in the depths of a smartphone's gallery. Amidst the layers of dusty albums, school reports, and forgotten souvenirs, a lone photograph slipped out.

I remember holding it up, squinting at first because the dim light in the attic made it hard to discern details. But as the image came into focus, my heart skipped a beat. There, laid out before me, was a snapshot of her like I'd never seen before.
