LONG OVERDUE WEEKLY UPDATE! CHANGED PLANS/MONTHLY REQUEST STREAM THIS WEEKEND/THE NEXT ALBUM PARTY + SPECIFIC REQUESTS STREAM/A NEW ULTIMATE RANKING SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT (Patreon)

Hey guys!

Been a bit crazy for me lately over the last fortnight in particular. Sorry I've not been so active the last few days. There has been a reason. So a bit of backstory, I've had an acting agent for a few years. Nice people, but long story, short, over the last few years, all the paid acting work I've had as been from contacting people myself and word of mouth of my acting etc. Two feature films from it which my agent didn't do anything for. Just not the right fit. Well I was hoping to look elsewhere later this year when I had a chance but they actually beat me to it. They sent me an e-mail saying how they were going to end my contract in the next few weeks. It was stressful hearing that.

Some advice for fellow actors here or people who may know other actors. Once you've had an agent, you NEVER EVER EVER want to look for your next agent when you DON'T HAVE AN AGENT currently. It's basically like setting back all the experience you have and your career. So under no circumstances could I not find another agent before the contract ends (Next Monday). This is why I've been away lately a bit compared to normal. I've been e-mailing agents like a madman. I made a completely new show-reel by myself, waiting for days to get the footage from people I've worked with. Well I have some good news...

I did a live zoom audition earlier today with a potential new agent. I performed a dramatic monologue live, I also did a comedy monologue. Had a quick chat about my goals and why I'm looking elsewhere and am not happy with my 'current' agent and........they offered me position on the agency. SIGHS RELIEF I can't tell you the weight off my shoulders this has been for me. Feel like some normalcy will return now.

But anyway, to the UPDATE:

CHANGED PLANS:

The reason you've seen a few stream drops lately is because they've been easier to edit with the time I've had recently. Will make sure to get loads done before the next ULTIMATE RANKING WEEK (a week from next monday).

The next Monthly Request Stream is...............TOMORROW (26/4/2024) ! Sorry for the short notice everyone, it's been really crazy lately. We will be going from 6pm - 11pm GMT (maybe Midnight, see how we go). As usual we will start with the TOP 50: YEAR 1 HONOURABLE MENTIONS and then get into the requests. NEW ULTIMATE RANKING ANNOUNCEMENT:

Yes....there's ANOTHER one on the way. If you are on our discord (COME JOIN: https://discord.gg/aXyt3rdT ) , you already know that there will be a SHORTER RANKING SERIES starting soon AND a LONGER ranking series starting soon. It's been a while since I've chosen my own series to start. I've selected the SHORTER series already, it will be announced by the end of the week. The LONGER series has a few contenders in my head, not fully decided yet, but that one's a bit away yet.

Thanks for reading everyone! Hope you're all having a lovely week and hopefully see you on the stream tomorrow!

Much Love,

Ross x
