The song is a bit repetitive... but its pretty catchy. Its memorable because it plays as OST on a popular drama so if you watched it (like me), the song comes with memories of the drama. Yuqi is just a star, pure charisma (je ne sais quoi). It really comes through in her Chinese variety shows. In Korea, she plays up the quirky foreigner bit. But in China, she just is. Natural, unforced charm. A mix of girlishness & tomboy that's quite representative of her specific Chinese generation (and hence her being such a popular ad/brand rep) She has a Chinese solo album coming up likely end of the year. I have too high hopes for it. The Chinese music industry has a huge lack of young female singer songwriters. Lots of male ones (like Silence Wang here). Lots of older ones. Some young niche/indie ones. But none with Yuqi's popularity & mainstream appeal with the ability & trust to deliver an album with self-written, self-produced songs. I am really hoping its a good album and it goes well
