I have such a love/hate relationship with this song. In case you don''t know, this is a remix/cover of a song from another SM girl group S.E.S which debuted in 1997. The original is really good. I also like the instrumental/changes they did here and their voices are awesome as well. The problem for me comes from the lyrics. Normally I don't care about lyrics at all, but since the lyrics that I have a problem with are repeated so much in the chorus it really distracts me from enjoying it to its maximum potential. P.S. Here is a clip of Red Velvet and Twice member covering the original song from 2018. One of my favorite covers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7BJJSfJrlg

If you're ever interested in seeing the original song from 1998, you can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uiR4SrDGZk There's also a whole ass Documentary showing how BoA and Aespa put this together: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDp_dD00-SI&t=11s In case you're wondering, yes, the Alien rap is in the original, and the girls were pretty adamant that it stayed in. The right decision, if you ask me, even if it was a little silly. It's pretty low on my overall ranking, if only because it's not really my thing, but I don't really ever skip it when it comes on my playlist. It's just so...silly. I love Giselle's intro too. "Let's bring it back to '90s!" and then the original instrumental starts up. Too fun. 1. Black Mamba 2. Savage 3. Iconic 4. I'll Make You Cry 5. Next Level 6. Yeppi Yeppi 7. Dreams Come True 8.
