Hello, my gooners! So, this will be the last devlog before the release. Just want to talk about the current progress and expectations for my game.

Progress

Coding is finished. Now what's left to do is game test, game test, and game test. Mainly to find typos and errors in renders, such as clipping, lighting issues, and missing renders. Also have to play it a few times from top to bottom just to make sure all the sound effects and dialogues are correct. I'll be pushing hard this month to make sure I can release the update as soon as possible. Thank you all for your patience.

Reflection & Expectations

It's only been 3 chapters and I've already been through 3 development hell. Despite all the reasons that had actively contributed to this long development, it doesn't sit right with me that one chapter requires nearly 1 year to make. In the very beginning of the game's development, I told myself, "Sort of Justice" will be a fast-paced, to-the-point, reasonably short story that I would use to represent me as a developer as well as an artist. But, slowly, I began to think to myself, "Fuck, this is getting out of hand". If one chapter takes 1 year, how many fucking years do I need to finish this game!? Because "Sort of Justice" is not going be my last game. I have so many ideas, but seemingly not enough time to bring them to life. I want to continue doing this, so changes are needed. So many of the things that have slowed me down were completely avoidable, some were not; yet I'd never found enough reasons to bring about changes. I won't bore you with the details. All I wanted to say is, it's become clear to me that this is what I want to do for the foreseeable future. Not just making a porn game, but a piece of media that can bring entertainment and initiate discussions and form a passionate community. How awesome would that be? This is a promise directed towards this game's developer — it's time for faster updates, bitch.
