Mosshead

also just so you know i am a history major and it has added drama and some made up characters but most of the history in this show is accurate or based on real life

Cark

Dang, I was hoping he would survive. So far, this seems pretty interesting. Life was very different back then. Also, evidence does show that Vikings may have been the first Europeans to land in North America as they were expert seamen

Leraje

Woohoo!!! One thing: when you get to the second half of this season, I recommend skipping the opening till episode 19 cuz it's spoilery

SearNova

Vinland is Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada today

jay

I'm pretty sure the author of Vinland Saga took inspiration from 3 norse books of history and mythology so it's a blend of history and fiction

So you guys have probably already watched a couple more episodes and this will be a invalid point now but to what Kolbi said The opening scene was in the past. It said it was in the year 987 and the present day in Iceland is 1002. It was 15 years before where we are now

Devin reid

Since you saw this already teji what are your thoughts on season 2 for me it’s arguably some of the best television of any kind I’ve ever experienced

Professor00

About time!!! One of the most under appreciated GOATS of anime/manga. 🤘🏾
