amanita muscaria was the mushroom Byorn ate and Coles right they say vikings used to eat them to go Berserk but apparently that's been disproven as a myth. Still awesome tho

Honestly, It’s tough to get someone interested unless they are “ready” to be introduced. But I think you can already plant a seed into your dads mind, maybe by watching a crazy episode while he’s around, and telling him you wanna show him something cool! Idk, but Vinland feels like if game of thrones had an animated series, so maybe you can use something that he already likes, and campare them so that he gets interested!

I thought I had him one day I just described the synopsis of Vinland and he didn't hear me say it was anime, he was sitting there mouth open lookin like Ryan till I said it was anime again

Does he like reading ? I got my mom into anime by making her read AOT and she got hooked. She used to think it was just for kids but after that she started watching FMAB and Erased, and now she's one of us lmao. Also, Webtoons could be a good start too!

Might be a good call honestly hes a big fan of fantasy books like LOTR and song of ice and fire so giving him a manga to start with might work, he also might just think it's a kids comic though so I'll think about it
