Y’all GOT to react to the berserk OST!!! They’ve all got such strong and unique energy, and Hirasawa Susumu himself is an absolute madlad in terms of creativity 🔥🤯 he made up his own language for some of his songs and has done live concerts with a laser machine, bug spray, electricity, saws….the evil scientist energy is STRONG. Guts, Indra 2016, Serpico, Niko, The Black Swordsman, and Aria are great soundtracks (not all by him), but I’d definitely recommend to check out his work outside of berserk/live stuff sometime!!

I had no idea Arnor Dan was featured in a Made in Abyss song, but that’s awesome. He’s an Icelandic singer with a gorgeous voice, but I know him most from the OST to Terror in Resonance. A 2014 anime written by Watanabe (of Bebop and Samurai Champloo fame) and with music from Yoko Kanno (Bebop, Escaflowne, Turn A Gundam, Kids on the Slope). That show has a character who “listens to music from a cold land”. As such, Kano brought in Dan to actually sing in his native language. It’s truly gorgeous. To this day Terror in Resonance remains one of my all time favorite anime soundtracks. Dan features on three absolutely stunning songs, “Von”, “Birden”, and “bless”. I also would recommend “is”, which features Pop Etc, an American indie rock band. That entire soundtrack is so somber and beautiful. It stands out so well against anything else I’ve ever seen in anime. I’ve always loved Yoko Kano’s work, but I think Terror in Resonance genuinely is some of her very best.

I love made in abyss though it really weirds me out xD. Listening to these, especially VOH, reminds me a bit of the "Wolf Children" soundtrack. Maybe it could be your next movie reaction. 0.0

Yes! Definitely, need the guys to check out Yoko Kanno! Recommending Cyber Bird from her (Ghost in a Shell Stand Alone Complex, I think), just because I love that song. :)

Man oh man am I excited to see this! When first diving back into the content I had missed I threw my hands up in the air when I saw you covered part of the OST, to have a part 2 so soon after I came back is awesome! I don't know if it's something you have discussed interest in watching before, either solo or with the gang, but it's an incredible series. There are some problematic elements that you have to overlook, but man the emotional range of this series will put your heart through the ringer. The wonder & adventure of the Abyss is met with equal levels of tragedy & depravity.

Love that you guys are reacting to more made in the abyss ost. One song that I’m surprised you guys haven’t reacted to yet is: “Rumble of Scientific Triumph.” It was from the Dawn of the Deep Soul movie and is a fan favorite. I definitely recommend checking it out, even if it’s not on a video.

JammySplosha

im hoping you do another one of these reactions soon, theres so many god damn tracks in this short ass anime, and theyre all GOOD. i suggest the next ones you do is: SAN-KEN 「The Three SAGES」 prushka sequence pathway Dark Reg, Nightmare Fuel stingerhead nest i see you usually do four each time but i put 5 here cuz stingerhead nest is less than two minutes long but is stupid good, i put a good mix adventurous, epic, intense and sad OSTs in this little list, a taste of everything. shit what do i gotta do to not have to wait another 8 months for the next one tho XD
