Tina

episode 22 when? :D

Carrie Thomas

This episode, and the Female Titan arc so far, is interesting because we see how, even though Eren is learning about these different perspectives (like Levi saying no matter what you choose the outcome will always be unknown) Eren himself still keeps his original worldview: to live you have to win, and if you lose, you die. I think this experience solidified this idea in his mind and he completely lost faith in others and the possibility for them to “win”, and that, if given the chance, he would never allow for his friends to potentially “lose” ever again, even though we see here that, no matter your choice, you can’t predict the future.
