Hi everyone!

This week I had the pleasure of organising and co-presenting the Spring edition of the Games Library Night! It is a relaxed event that takes place in South London, with a game showcase, talks and snacks. In celebration of the LGBT+ History Month, this term's Games Library Night focused on a queer perspective on games.

The entire event was recorded, and I think it is really interesting especially if you are planning on including queer characters or themes in one of your games. We had three talks:

Most of you are probably here for the technical content I write. Another aspect of game development I am really interested in is the representation of minorities in media. I feel it is such an important issue that is often dismissed.

After all, games are about stories, and we are in desperate needs for more stories people can identify and relate with.

I hope this will start a positive conversation on this subject. I am planning on posting here more videos about the events that I run, which I hope you will find interesting. And if you have any question, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me!

Putting in strike solidarity in the intro. This just made my day. Happy to see this stuff coming out.

Thank you! I understand that is a rather controversial subject, for many. Personally, I felt the strike would have damaged the students learning experience too much. And they are not the ones who should suffer. However, I also understand the reasons behind the strikes, and I wanted to show my support.
