Hi everyone! 👋

For the past few months, I have been teasing you all about the new short documentary I was working on. The wait is (almost!) over! Tonight at 7pm BST the video will premiere on YouTube.

This short documentary focuses on Conway's Game of Life, and it's coming out today to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its original publication on Scientific American.

In the video, we will go through the history of the game, and show how to build it is possible to build a computer in Life. Or to get as close as you can in 25 minutes!

This video was a lot of fun to make, and—pretty much like the "The AI of Creatures"—is a love letter to one of the games that changed my life.

Oh, I almost forgot! At the end of the video, you will find a section with the names of all the patrons who supported me during the development of this video!

I hope to see you on YouTube for the premiere in a few minutes! I will be sharing some behind the curtains, and answer to all of your questions in the chat!
