Opinion on a sandbox mode (Patreon)

When I was deliberating on how to start the game I initially considered making it a sandbox game, but at the time I had no ideas that didn't include annoying grind, that were sufficiently different from other games and that would allow me to write the stories I had in mind, so I discarded the idea.

However, in the meantime I've come up with ideas that allow me to make a sandbox game without those restrictions, I have no intentions of changing the game's format for now, but would like to see if there is a general interest for sandbox games.
