Movie/TV Updates

(1) Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma is attracting a lot of interest from buyers at American Film Market

Starring Gillian Anderson and Hannah Einbinder.

A queer filmmaker is hired to direct a new installment of a long-running slasher franchise known as Camp Miasma. She becomes fixated on casting the reclusive actress who played the final girl in the original movie. As the two women begin working together, they descend into a frenzy of psychosexual mania.

Filming was completed in June 2025.

(2) HBO Is Remaking a Netflix TV Show

HBO is developing a U.S. remake of Call My Agent, based on the popular French comedy-drama series Dix Pour Cent (Ten Percent). The original story follows the lives of four celebrity agents who are suddenly tasked with managing a Paris talent firm after their boss’s death.

In the American remake, the lead will be a sports agent.

The Netflix series featured some notable nudity, so hopefully HBO will take it even further.

No casting has been announced yet.

(4) Are you excited for Outlander Season 8?

Season 8 is the final season of the series, and if you’re not excited yet, I have some news: a new face is joining the cast, and you might find her interesting.

British actress Cara Woodcock is joining this season as Amaranthus Grey, and I think her character will be a great addition. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing her nude debut.

Season 8 will premiere in March 2026.

Season 1 featured lots of nude content, and based on the novel, Season 2 is expected to should have even more.
