Tribeca Film Festival 2026: Films Most Likely to Feature Sex and Nudity (Patreon)

Tribeca Film Festival lineup is out. The festival starts from June 3 to June 14, and once again I have made a list of movies that might have sex or nudity. This is obviously not a definitive list. I don't know for sure if these movies will contain nudity or if the other movies that I didn't include in the list will not contain nudity. This list is purely made based on plot, cast, and directors.

(1) THE REVISIONIST

Starring: Alison Brie. Searching for inspiration for her next novel, Elise subtly manipulates the people closest to her like characters in a book. The sudden return of an old friend challenges just how far she’s willing to go in pursuit of her art.

The film looks promising. I remember her saying there is good sex in her upcoming film. Is that what she was talking about? I don't know, but there is an intimacy coordinator, so I guess this is it.

(2) Only What We Carry

Starring: Sofia Boutella, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lizzy McAlpine. Follows a former student who returns home to face her past, stirring long-buried truths among a group of interconnected individuals on the Normandy coast.

This comedy/drama film looks promising. That's it. There is no info on if it will contain any nudity or sex, but Charlotte Gainsbourg and Sofia Boutella have done some great scenes in the past, so maybe we'll find something in this too.

(3) The Leader

Starring: Vera Farmiga, Grace Caroline Currey. In 1997, thirty-nine members of the American cult known as "Heaven's Gate" committed the largest mass suicide to ever take place on American soil. This is their story.

The film is rated R for sexual content and brief graphic nudity, so there is nudity, but hopefully it is from the lead cast, especially from Grace. Everyone wants to see her knookers.

(4) Act One

Starring: Ella Beatty, Ari Graynor. A lonely aspiring teen actress finds herself drawn to an acting teacher who pulls her into a web of desire and control, blurring the lines of seduction and obsession.

The plot is really interesting. There will be lesbian scenes and hopefully some good nudity and sex.

(5) Next Life

Starring: Emilia Clarke. In modern London's jazz world, Ivy discovers alternate realities where her romantic path takes unexpected turns, forcing her to question which life and love she truly desires.

(6) Breeder

Starring: Maddie Phillips. An eccentric poodle breeder lures a broke college student to her remote ranch with a promise of research funding.

Maddie Phillips shared photos from the movie on her Insta in which she is standing naked in the dark. We can see some nudity from her in the image. Hopefully the movie has a good bright shot of this scene.

Final Thoughts:

For the short films, there are no plot details available, so we don't know anything. There are some promising films, but nothing that will shock anyone. Wish there were more hot films with A-list actresses, but it is what it is.
