This One Bottleneck is Ruining my City

Zeeburg is a realistic, historic North Sea coastal city based on a mixture of Dutch, German, and Central European influences. Oh, and a little bit of North American-inspired car-centric infrastructure as well - built in the 1950s and 1960s. ► Channel Membership for Early-Access to most new uploads, badges, and emojis: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuw9Zx8ZJOnjStiAWSZOKLg/join ► Patreon for Early-Access to most new uploads, save games, and more: https://www.patreon.com/infrastructurist ► Merchandise: https://infrastructurist-shop.fourthwall.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ 💻 Hardware specs - note: You support the channel with a small commission if you buy through any of these links, at no extra cost to you :-) GPU: Asus 4080 Super OC ProArt - https://amzn.to/3K9qQFv CPU: Ryzen 9 9950X - https://amzn.to/3JStPSM RAM: Kingston Fury Beast 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5-6000 RAM (CL30) - https://amzn.to/47YNeLm MIC: Shure MV7+ - https://amzn.to/46eu5D5 HEADSET: Arctic Pro Wireless - https://amzn.to/46yIpHO ------------------------------------------------------------ 🗺️ Map Saint Malot by Epsilon2486: https://mods.paradoxplaza.com/mods/115710/Any ------------------------------------------------------------ ⚙️ Settings Everything set to high ------------------------------------------------------------ 🎶 Music https://artlist.io/ https://www.epidemicsound.com/

It’s not a mess. Just organised chaos. 😂

Hi Infra, First of all, your city is so beautiful, incredible work!! I would use another mod for custom traffic lights: https://mods.paradoxplaza.com/mods/125342/Windows It's a bit easier to use, but first of all you need to prepare the crossing and add the correct lanes. If you want a protected left turn, you need to have a dedicated road from each direction for left lane only, otherwise cars are stuck behind cars that want to go to another direction. To be honest I think the 'many' crossings at the main tram road is not the issue, it's more the number of trams that's not realistic. Are they all full? No? Then just lower the number of trams. That 'realistic' tram scheduler is in my opinion not realistic, as 1 second = 1 minute in game, so 10 seconds would be 10 minutes. A person would be able to walk much further in 10 minutes ingame time (10 second in real time). So the timescale is not right, but the mods uses this timescale to spawn trams per 10 seconds (if you set it at per 10 minutes).

Did you place your timing points on Prince's avenue? If the mod has the trams waiting only at the timing points then move the timing points! Move them to the last stop on the branches which are used by only one tram -- OR -- to a 4 platform tram stop.
