For context, Grid got the quest at level 79 and had to enter one of the Eternal Kingdom’s five forbidden zones, which was filled with level 200+ monsters. He spent 3 months trying to complete it, dying so many times that his level actually dropped from 79 to 73.

It's interesting enough to see where it's headed. Seems like it needs a couple of episodes to get rolling

Damn the Japan-Korea beef is stronger than I thought. They really went the extra mile by changing about every name in the source material to a Japanese name. Funnily enough changing the mc's name and country of origin really shouldn't change the story in any substantial way because the majority of the story takes place in Satisfy, and the players' usernames appear unchanged.

I'm only 3 minutes in, but I can already tell this man need Yuna and to believe in the power of bears. Those wolves would be a non-issue.

Ah this premise is reminding me a novel I really like; It's by Furious Snail "The Reborn Thief Travels the World". He's also the author of demons and gods but...yeah, I wouldn't recommend that. Actually this author can't figure out a decent way to end his stories to save his life. HOWEVER. He DOES a banger job for the middle and this specific kind of setting. It's not too long and it does have a proper ending even if its bad. If you wind up liking this show, I'd recommend that; It's linking video games to real life and how a pro player regresses back in time and takes advantage of all his knowledge to get the best gear/items before others since he knows the tricks/exploits to get them, even though he plays solo. You said you're not a fast reader, but I think you could read the whole series in two-three weeks if you read a few chapters a day (not very long chapters)

28:12 I'm sorry, I know I'm commenting a bit too much...but Megumin would've been SO proud of that one
