I'm happy the last video is getting good reception, I really appreciate that. :) The next one will of course be the Patreon-Only video, 2B Vs Jax. I already have ideas for the choreography, but I was wondering if there were any moves in particular you wanted to see in this video and future ones as well. You can leave ideas/ suggestions below. I will take a couple days of not animating because my sleep schedule is shot, but I will continue to post poses, shorter animations (which can usually be done in one sitting), and any findings I think you might like. As always, I greatly appreciate the support and their is much more to come. - Conflict.

I love the frontal figure four headscissors, especially when she grabs her ankle to slowly tighten it up. Its a very graceful looking move imo 😁 a specific sequence i always love seeing in wrestling videos is the girl getting the guy in a mounted figure four, he eventually pushes her off but shekeeps her legs around his head as she just rolls to her back bringing him to his knees, then squeezing him till hes weak enough to muscle onto his back again right back into the mounted figure four :) Maybe too specific but hopefully you can extract an idea an idea or two from that blob of words lol

Black Jack

for my suggestion i would love to see more extensions of sitting headscissor and a loud crack sound.

Not sure if you are familiar with jiu jitsu but theres the triangle choke, always a nice move to see used and theres many different variations if you wanted to toy with it to for a specific character to show their personality and flair. Other than that keep up the great work! and make sure you also focus on your own life and wellbeing dont feel forced to work on projects all the time

Moves wise, what you're doing now is absolutely fantastic. The fact that there is finally somebody making actually good headscissor focused content is a treat, and the fact that you're doing it as fast as you have been and on Gmod is mind blowing. My only request would be that videos occasionally end with the victim actually getting choked/smothered out instead of a neck snap. The longer, drawn out sequence with the guy trying and failing to escape before just getting choked to death is choice way to end a video imo.

Conflict

I always wanted to reserve jiu jitsu for a professional character like an assassin or corporate bodyguard, but I'll definitely look into it more! And yea, I need to pace myself more. :D

Conflict

Yea, I've wanted to do a more grounded/surreal fight scene, and having someone getting strangled or choked out is a little more involved than a simple neck snap, but i like the challenge. Making subtle movements and facial movements will be the hard part. :)

Conflict

I can work that sequence perfectly actually! I like the struggle aspect and the characters wrestling for the advantage.

Korravine

Wow sounds great! Its cool to see how interactive you are as a creator :) the struggle for advantage is something you animate really well, its much more fun and dynamic to watch someone overcome a tough opponent through skill rather than just having one person basically be a ragdoll from the very beginning.(“ragdolling” at the end though, after a thorough outclassing, still feels very much deserved and satisfying.) From your work Im sure you already understand that appeal so I dont really need to write it out, but its a detail that I’ve noticed a lot of other fight animators ignore. Cant wait to see more work from you!

Conflict

I actually wanted a louder crack for the last videos, but i couldn't find a sound clip satisfying enough that didn't sound terrible either. And did you mean like an extended schoolgirl pin kind of headscissor?

Korravine

While the flips and acrobatic moves you animate so are so awesome to watch and are part of what drew me in, I’ve also wondered what a more grounded realistic fight scene from you would look like. Hopefully it would still be as stylish and be dynamic as your usual style but probably a bit less arcade-y, replacing flips and acrobatics with stuff like sweeps, counters and scrambling for dominant positions and general ground-game things. I liked another persons comment about jiu jitsu stuff, i feel like thats a great way to ground the fight scene if thats what you’re going for.

Black Jack

yes mate, if possible can you make other dummies for extra action.

Conflict

Definitely, the previous videos were kind of tests runs to see what the animation program can handle, I'm slowly getting the hang of having multiple moving characters in a video.

Conflict

Honestly, it depends on the characters themselves. Like the snake vs octo video, the moves kinda fit into a metal gear choreography and for the Mona v prince video, magic was involved and Mona was already very cartoon-like in design, so the moves had more room for exaggeration.

M3M0B00K

I have not minded the acrobatics and exaggerated move sets at all, I honestly think those in conjunction with your unique choreography are what makes your stuff so great. We're dealing with fantasy and scifi video game characters, it would be more strange if the fights were grounded in reality. My comment was not implying for you to change anything really, your style is unique and its fantastic! I'm just selfishly requesting the occasional hold be held a long time because that's what I enjoy. Even if that never comes to happen, your video's are still some of the best I've seen in years. On a side note, you should figure out a way to add some more Tiers on patreon so we can pay you more. With how fast you've been making content, and how responsive you've been to comments, you deserve the extra income.

Conflict

Yea, I know it wasn't implying change. :) I was just explaining my process for outlining choreography, really streamlines the workflow. I do want to extend the length on holds, but i have to slow down the pace of the video which won't be a problem. For the tiers, I'm still thinking of what perks to give for higher tiers, nothing come to mind at the moment.

Conflict

That is one of my personal favorite moves of all time. I will definitely incorporate that into videos.

Conflict

That is a good one, and from a classic video too

Korravine

When you say an assassin or corporate bodyguard using jiu jitsu makes me think of the perkins vs john wick fight: https://youtu.be/Y0LuDSiX63M if only it contained a triangle choke like the infamous haywire fight! Would have been like seeing a modern-age Xenia Onatopp 🥰 But anyways i like the calculated controlled struggle for dominance here, she’s all over John like a snake in this clip. If only the female antagonist in John Wick 2 put up a fight like this :(

Conflict

All you had to say was Momiji, and I got you!

Conflict

I had forgotten to reply, but yes, the john wick, kind of business professional looking setting is what I will be going for when I use a jiu jitsu sequence!
