Like we said due to jacks wedding we will be short on episodes this week but will be back in full next upload!

electriq

almost done 🥲

Cannon Andrus

Why am I giving jack the death glare ☠️

Wiame

Almooost

Jed

PRAISE THE LORD OF LIGHT

Jakub Zielinski

I would love if you guys did a manga reading of the remaining chapters

Jed

Togashi has too much pride to let anyone touch the series. He said the only person who he would let do anything to it would be his wife. Also she can draw the exact same way he does and I quote "How did you draw exactly like me" - Togashi "I drew as horribly as I could" - Naoko

ssj4rit
>>133750922

I mean that’s true but he also lets his assistants draw full pages. He had an interview in 2016 and showed some of the spreads his assistants drew (like the Black Whale), and said he didn’t draw them.

Brittany Mitchell

Wow it's been a long journey but I can't believe HxH is almost done!!! FMAB is not far behind either! Congrats Jack btw!

corLeonis

Cheadle's 🇯🇵VA is the same as Chopper and Pikachu 😀

Professor Rizzard The Third

Gon didn’t lose his arm permanently but he did lose something else potentially much more valuable. Alluka or Nanika only healed Gons body.. Manga spoilers below- He still cannot use Nen, in the manga he tries to summon his aura but can’t. He has a conversation with Ging regarding his lack of Aura. To paraphrase Ging basically tells him he threw it away with his restriction and he’s lucky that he’s alive back to ‘normal’ though he also states he could see Gons aura implying it may still be there but Gon just can’t see it. But as it stands he returns to Mito to live a normal life for now.

jblakk

Insane thumbnail lol

gabagool

Togashi is a master of anticlimaxes. He does what feels natural to the story and the characters, not what the audience expect. This keeps us on the edge and leaves us guessing on what will come next.

Kim555

Random but are we getting new invincible reactions?

kuza

almost the end 😔

kai

pariston is a fucking menace 😹

Qhoa

Jake

The thumbnail is everything 😂

kingkoopa98

Regarding the continuation of the manga, one potential reason why Togashi can't pass it on to somebody else is because he comes up with a lot of it as he goes. Like obviously he has big chunks of it mapped out but in a recent interview he said he has created multiple endings for HxH but can't decide which one he wants to use. He also constantly changes his mind about things.

LuvStarburst

Congrats to Jack and I hope you all enjoy his celebration.

tomatosoup

i think there's enough manga chapters for like a 25 episode season but thats about it right now

LeFlaneur

I hope HxH will do as much trolling as Adventure Time did about whether or not the main character will permanently loose their arm.

Special10

extremely common jack W. Congrats dude!!

DovaBro

When GOT

Jacob Goldsmith

there is sooooo much we miss cause the anime ends here

Lucas Chaves

its actually hard to be interested in arc election when ur just out of chimera ant. only the 2nd time ive watched and u know whats going on on the manga u pay attention to the details of the arc and its legit so good. but this is bad written from togashi tbh, or atleast bad pacing from the anime for making the arc so dragged out with yapping. but when u rewatch knowing whats happening in the manga pariston legit goes to among the best, if not the best villlain in the show. ;/

Lucas Chaves
>>133757282

like the fact that they didnt realize that pariston while everyone was doing stuff knew about the chimera ant behind the scenes and now has a army of 5000 nen users in his control while the hunter association has only about 600 hunters. making pariston legit the most dangerous person ever capable of ending the human race

Lucas Chaves
>>133757282

feels bad to watch this with friends who never watch hxh. because this arc is literally a setup for the biggest arc ever. its like the anime ending on the zoldyck arc :@

BigManSirob

If you guys think these episodes are yappy, you're gonna have a hard time watching the next arc if it ever gets animated. The recent hxh manga chapter are infamously filled with long, drawn-out, confusing yap sessions. There's this one page that people always post where togashi literally just gave up trying to draw anything after the first couple panels and then the rest of the page is just walls of text on a completely blank background 😭. I mean I think it's really interesting how much detail he goes into but I won't lie and say I've never been tempted to skip a few dialogue boxes out of boredom and frustration 😅

kiiturii

thumbnail is meme material

Josh

Enjoy the wedding! Thanks for still making the time for some content :)

Jed

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Its insane how much you guys want things to happen that don't in the show. They literally all happen in the next arc lmfao. This show really does blue ball so many things towards the end which is why the fandom wants the series to continue so badly. I can count like 20 things that you all want as a group to see happen and no joke they all happen in like the next 50 chapters of the manga.

Laura 🦋

seeing Gon makes me happy too, McKay 😭 Brigg was right. it’s been too long since we saw Gon’s smile

Matthew Houston

It’s a shame the anime doesn’t continue past here, because if it did people would feel much differently about the election arc lol. It is actually so fire Togashi loves to slow cook

Laura 🦋

i think we can all agree that Ging is a “freaking loser bum rat” 🤣

J.A.S.

>>133750790

most likely not happening.. not in a million years.. 💫

Mitch

Fmab 53 is so close, one of the greatest eps in all of anime

kuza

how tf was this a "hard watch" 💀💀💀💀

Josh

Ging said "this was always gonna happen" so he did know

Jimmy Gilligan

The creator of HXH’s wife is the author of Sailor moon so I don’t understand how he can’t just tell her to continue to write it 😭😭

Keiji

Think of the whole election thing as an intro to Pariston.

Osvaldo

Y’all should watch Yu Yu Hakusho for a more predictable traditional shonen from Togashi. At the very least the English Dub is the GOAT and Yusuke most badass main character of all time.

Ezile Xozwa

the thumbnail is giving sticker vibes

Faris Alamin

0:31 - Cannon: "I've always thought if he just left a bunch of bullet points of what was critical, like needed to happen no matter what and then let someone fill in the blanks, that should work" This is kinda how we ended up with GOT S8.

Brent Kilgore

congrats Jack! I am getting married in 14days!

Izaya

I htink HxH benefits most of Togashi's writing style and less of the actual events that happen. I think he could leave a dozen pivotal story moments and their context written down for someone to finish the story but his roundabout writing style will never get reproduced. HxH is what it is because of the intricacies of his writing i think

Izaya

I like yall but its crazy how much yall straight hate great dialogue. It seems that the better the dialogue the more boring yall feel

Pavlo

Congrats jack🎉

LK

ging really is a deadbeat dad like bro talk to your son 😭 also congrats jack!!

studiogek
>>133781457

To say we hate good dialogue because of this is one show every now and then is crazy😂I guess all the other shows/anime we’ve watched with great dialogue don’t count

Nonos
>>133781457

Bro have u seen their Game of thrones reactions? They literally love the dialogue and enjoy episodes even without the action. Some shows can be better at interesting dialogue then others sometimes

alex anderson

Nobody lose their shit if solo leveling doesn’t come out today

ssj4rit
>>133781457

I’m a HxH Stan but this dialogue isn’t that good. Good dialogue is like Sopranos or GoT. Sometimes Togashi gets too over explanatory on mundane details.

Mikey N

congrats jack, happy for you <3

Jarvis

Big congratulations to Jack!

Sasha

One Punch Man soon I guess😎

arcv

I'm glad you guys got through this series. It might be my favorite anime, and you guys are the chillest reaction channel so I was curious how you'd react or think about some scenes. The HxH reactions have given us some peak Gek. I hope you guys do One Punch Man or Mob Psycho 100 next.

Poragami

so, can we expect nothing this weekend?

Kyosuke Kagami

Don't do it Jack, there's still time to back out!

Apex

Are we getting One Punch Man/Haikyu!! next week?

icynub
>>133781457

I can’t believe he called the most boring arc in hxh “great arc”

ssj4rit
>>133812485

I’m just glad Jack seemed to like it the whole way through lol

Apex
>>133815918

Not sure why, the hype in that show is great, I'm sure their group would mesh well with it, but obviously OPM would be better to do first, only having 24 episodes in 9 years, and season 3 soon, hopefully it won't fall off as much as it did in the 2nd season

Apex
>>133815918

They recently stated that polls are not a confirmation of their decision (poll on jack’s seat in GoT), they just use them to get an idea of what the people want to see. If they want to watch a different show or do their own thing they will.

Ashley

damn yall really gonna be done with this show huh.. so how much can i pay to bribe yall to watch code geass?? im jk ofc hahah but..

Enma
>>133812485

idk if you know but they did a poll a while back to replace HxH and one punch man won

Matthew Houston
>>133781457

I think to be fair to both of you, there are some things that can be unpacked here. The original commenter's perspective could be influenced by future events, which you aren't privy too. It's very easy to reflect on Togashi's writing and dialogue when you are doing so in retrospect, because truthfully ALL of the micro details that make up characters and their decisions are so important to the excellence of Hunter. On the flip side, because you can only see a lot of this in retrospect, as you go through it blind with more limited information, it's very easy to find it boring. If you don't have the context which unlocks the full scope of the situation - why wouldn't you find it boring. I say with 100% confidence that if any of the guys who were new to the show ever read the manga and revisited this, or we all got more animated seasons (fingers crossed) the tune would change entirely. That's not to say the current perspective isn't fair because it absolutely is. Even from the last batch of chapters we received the other year every reader had to re-contextualize SO much of what we thought and knew about past events. It is what it is and it's very okay for people to not be on the same page as you without the entire picture. In fact, the ability for future events to be so transformative is what makes it truly great in the first place. Happy watching. Good vibes for the last few episodes. Pray for more.

aubrey

congrats jack!!

Guy
>>133813441

With everything y'all got goin on, it's amazing we're even getting that much!

Saki
>>133751752

@corLeonis Hey, I know you didn't mean it offensively or anything and was just using it for the language! But just commenting to let yk for future reference that j*p is considered a slur in American English - its an easy abbreviation, but unfortunately has negative historical connotations

corLeonis
>>133751752

Thanks for the call out ma! The ignorant in me does not know..but of course, ignorance excuses no one. Be editing it prompto 🫡

Saki

wishing you a fantastic wedding and supportive marriage filled with joy in the years to come, jack! 😊 (and same can be said to carter and his engagement!! ❤️)

haley!

Congrats Jack :) Best of luck to both of you guys!

devakira

When are you going to watch Princess Mononoke? I'm just really excited for your reactions on this movie (you watched the last movie Spirited away 2 months ago it's been a while but I guess you're pretty busy so of course I can wait !)

Eiden Porter

I want you guys to cuss in your videos really bad

icynub
>>133861435

I’m 100% sure it’ll happen soon in GOT videos😂😂

arcv
>>133812485

@ssj4rit I think they got burnt out by not really binging the Chimera Ant arc. It probably felt way longer for them, and I agree with Carter's criticism that it ends really abruptly and you continue into the next arc without fully processing the ending of the Chimera Ant arc. It's my biggest criticism of the anime as well. That arc was so big, the ending was done well, but they should've sat with it for a couple more episodes to really set up the next arc properly.

Ken

its unfortunate that some nuances get lost in the subtitles. I don't think Ging actually "hates" meeting Gon. it's more so he's shy and insecure about having a reunion with his son after a long period of time.

icynub
>>133876844

No he literally that guy who abandoned his son don’t try to make him look good

tubbagoob

So wait one punch man is replacing this show correct? 👀

James
>>133909153

Yes, OPM won the poll from Feb 7th for replacing HxH.

Thomas
>>133909153

I personally prefer Mob Psycho for its thematic variety, emotions, and real-world connections. For me OPM is missing in these departments but hey it shares a lot of other elements so should be a really fun watch for them. Also a big fan of a certain character in season 2 starting with a G

tubbagoob
>>133909153

I agree, I just figured if mob psycho wasn’t gonna win I’d prefer opm, mob psycho felt perfect the whole way through, but opm is still a fun watch and the story does get better, the manga goes so hard

Crayonz
>>133793719

you mean my creators didnt watch the new solo leveling episode in the middle of the reception? To think i thought they were dedicated..

Uros Vesic

It is crazy how little I cared for this show after the Ants arc. Kilua part was great, but all this election nonsense was hurting the show, imo

Балжан Б

man, pariston is such a cool character! i liked him from first watch, and the second time it's even better. for some reason i really love this arc, togashi made fun of politics and elections:)

A
>>133861435

So far we’ve only gotten a “damn” from Brig in GoT 😂

A

Congrats Jack!

Bandit

As a writer myself, I understand Togashi's dilemma of not wanting others to finish a story for him. One, I'd feel as though I couldn't call it my work anymore. Two, you can have an objective idea and outline in mind of the ending, but when finally getting to drawing/writing the scene or leading up to it, the content can change in the moment or last second to something even better (which Togashi has done in the manga due to "gut feeling") and therefore there's a feeling of missing out on something better when someone else does it for you. Sometimes the ideas aren't as greatly impactful when you get there as you thought and therefore need last-minute changes. I don't know about drawing but I assume the writing concept might apply to that too. Drawing it a certain way (Gon's Rage) might not have been a great moment had someone else drawn it. This is a heavy mindset in writers, not saying it's always the best mindset. I would deeply regret it if I made something that I know the story could have been "better" had I done it myself. And if it wasn't already clear, Togashi takes a lot of pride in his work.

Extrasauce
>>133752025

Couldn't killua just ask alluka to also restore gon's nen? Also is Gon still not able to use nen to this day in the manga? (It's ok if you spoil it.)

Professor Rizzard The Third
>>133752025

Spoilers below 👇 Yes he still cannot use nen at present in the manga. However the next arcs are more focused on Kurapika, Leorio, hisoka, the phantom troupe, dark continent etc. So we don’t see Gon a lot. My guess is Alluka could heal his body, but not remove his nen restriction. It’s sort of implied he still has aura but he just can’t see it, so he could potentially get back control Of his Nen. But again we don’t see him much.

David

Yall gotta watch fate zero and unlimited blade works

Gilster
>>134001032

The problem is that the election and introduction to the zodiacs is pretty important for the next big manga arc. Just unfortunate it's seen as the final part of the anime
