JON WHAT

Comments

Hector

So we have dragons, a demon, ppl that come back from the dead, crazy politicians and woman showing their tits every ep. This is all over the place LMAO

Mysterious Figure

It's pretty funny knowing the actress that plays Ygritte and Jon's actor have gotten married sometime towards the end of the show, especially funny knowing that while watching that scene now.

lily

let’s gooo can’t wait for this !!

Shadow

I be boxing my allergies

ooAlmondMilk

She wild on my Jon until I snow

HRW

I love Studio Gek, but they're like 22+ year old men and get all grossed out and uncomfortable every time they see a pair of boobs??? I get not liking the more severe stuff like in Lord Baelish's brothel, but a little nudity seems to make them damn near sick and i think its a little immature and odd.

Chuck Norris

watching porn with the bros is so awkward idk how our dads liked doing that shit in the 70s/80s/90s

Magic is “dead” in Westeros and has been for hundreds of years. It “died” when the doom of Valyria happened (the place the Targaryens are from) so everyone stopped believing in it. However now it is for some reason making a resurgence, White Walkers, Dragons, Red Priests, Three Eyed Raven. They have all been seen and are moving again. Thats all I can really say without spoiling but that should clear up some stuff and why at first it didnt seem like there was a lot of magic. We also see this in HOTD where everyone isnt really practicing religion and magic as much, so a new era of faith is showing up a lot (Seven Pointed Star)

awww Brig you genuinely seemed disturbed at 11:25. I don't blame you though

Goat

Just a little context for Theon: he's described as being very handsome in the books and is used to girls fawning over him. He is arrogant and a womanizer, that's why it is hard for him to comprehend that somebody could sleep with him not because he is so great but for some other ulterior motive

Roy Koopa

You guys did a poll on seating arrangements then just completely ignored it lmao

kivu_king

this episode cooked. damn, the whole show cooked for quite a while, seasons 1-4 are truly phenomenal piece of television 🙏

Sav

Thank you for the upload!!!

Brittany (Ultraanimegirl4)

Cannon... I appreciate your opinion, but what exactly was there to like about Theon before this? Lol

brog.

gods help you theon greyjoy... now you are truly lost

Ana

Not much to say but great reaction and great episode. Poor little Theon smh 🤦🏾‍♀️ he fucked up. Robb needs to start listening to his mom more. Always happy for Arya scenes. Idk why rewatching this but Roose Bolton keep making me feel things I don't wanna feel 😩😂Osha is a real one

Ophelia

“Who is this guy T posing” is never a comment I thought I’d hear to describe something in GOT LMAOOOOOO

Carrie

“Hush now child, I’m off to see your father” 😭 damn that one hurt

Enma

"Who's the colossal titan you brought with you?" 🤣🤣 Yeah, it's surprising that Rob didn't acknowledge Brienne when she's literally towering over them lol, maybe next episode I guess

tomlette

To celebrate you guys acing your finals you should do triple drop next week. 🍻Mainly because I think it’s best for this show to watch/release the penultimate episodes and season finales together. They usually pair well and are better watched back to back. 💕

bondbond53

I will say about the intro portion, I get you Brig!

andrés

That's one of the things I like about this series. The characters are written with depth and complexity so you can have characters like Theon that make you conflicted where you want what's best for them even if you don't necessarily want them to succeed.

andrés

Also I liked how yall did your occasional predictions with AoT and while there's maybe too many storylines in GoT to do that, could be fun to do a season wrap up of which characters yall like the most at the moment

Tracy Jones

Great reaction! I think you guys have missed the hints for somethings you’ve complained about because you talk over the dialogue(not a complaint just an observation). Also, because most of you watched HOTD first you assumed this was a similarily simplified story it is not. GOT is layered with hints, innuendos, and depth. HOTD is a compact/narrow story while GOT is more expansive and with consistent callback.

So I wanted to get this down before I forgot it after listening to the intro. The Esos and Westeros things was decently explained. I would add that thinking about it in terms of European depictions of medieval times compared to other places in our world at that same time. Much more influence of spirits and elements and gods and other such, while European medieval accounts were armor clad warriors, castles, maybe a fantastical creature like a dragon or troll, but mostly knights and casltes and wars and glory. But then there were sometimes druids, or Merlin, or other much higher magic concept. That's how I've always thought of it. All the high fantasy stuff is in this world, just not where we are looking; though sometimes those elements suddenly find their way into this story. For me it shows the depths and thought put into the world as a whole and helps me appreciate it even more.

Keiji

I was passively listening while working. I heard someone mention something and I made eye contact with McKay 😆

Blackeyedlily

The King of the Wildings, Mance Raydar is referred to as the King Beyond the Wall. So in the scenario you guys discussed after the episode, if Jon took Mance’s realm he could be called the King Beyond the Wall, while Robb could still be the King of the North.

danidelight

Gods help you, Theon Greyjoy. Now you are truly lost.

Man what Theon did really reeks

Seth Aasland

“DID MY HAND FALL FROM MY WRIST?!”

Sean Carroll

cannon is going to go through an emotional roller coaster with theons character

Vernus

You guys every try the allergy shot? My brother used to get them real bad now he gets like 2 or 3 injections during the bad seasons and is chilling now

Rick Loma

Ygritte is Jon’s wife in real life by the way

Uros Vesic

Bro really said she is just going away, like they are taking her to her friend, and can video call every day to check on her. I forgot how good this show was, man.

Blake

Sleeping with the enemy. I’m diamond 1

Mzuka

We have dragons (which are definitely magical), ice zombies, a witch summoning shadows and performing resurrection magic, a boy who can enter the mind of his wolf in his dreams….and that’s just what you’ve seen so far. It may not have been what you expected, but that’s not the shows fault - it’s a fantasy show. In the books, the magic ramps up every book, but particularly in the first one you could almost forget magic was there other than the prologue and ending. This is a story where magic is returning to the world (a classic fantasy trope), and that’s directly tied to the dragons.

Divayth Fyr

Valyrian steel sword can not be blunted by earthly means, big northern stones included.

Caleb

My bad😬

BubblePriest

It feels like the Greyjoys could be the main bad guys this season to end their story. So I used to be a GOT hater like some of you guys were anime haters, and here we are, just enjoying some quality shows.

Arjan Rijvers

What you guys were saying Arya should have done with the paper is actually what Varys trains his little birds to do.

Robert W

You guys saying Theon is down bad while all of you sweat bullets anytime a girl gets naked on the show… something tells me you wouldn’t do much better in a similar situation

Sasha (Mr. Prince is my bias)

I'm dying at Cannon's face when the rebellion happened. And I bet that's exactly how I looked like😂

Sasha

Theon's "takeover" of winterfell was so pathetic man

Sasha

I love Jon and Ygritte so much
