One of Carter's friends could come to him and tell him their ex had just keyed their brand new car and smashed all the windows out and he would be like "ok but.... i understand why she did that"😂

Cant wait for the trial by combattttt 🔥🔥 probably gonna need to warn headphones users for that episode lol

khalidz

i think tywin cooked jaime . baited him to say he would be heir to castly rock and tyrion sent to the wall ? its win win for tywin and he agreed immediately

WRONG DUB

I❤️movies&tvshows

It’s interesting to see Dani deal with the goat herder who lost his goats and HOTD S2-1 we just watched last week had Aegon trying to deal with a similar situation. Otto shutting down Aegon while Dani made a firm decision.

Niffol

Nah shae never loved him.

Niffol

I'm not sure of everyones names yet, but the guy between brigg and the middle guy, He's got the best takes. USUALLY.

Andy tee

Shae is worse than Joffrey and Ramsey. Fact.

Andy tee

I've always wondered if Tyrion wanted a trial by combat in the hope that Jaime would be his champion, leading to them both dying and ending the Lannister line. All just to spite Tywin.

Faris Alamin

One of the hardest scenes to watch in the show is almost here. I hate that damned scene. I've never been able to get that sound and that image out of my mind to this day.

Derek

The Theon chapters are some of the best in the series.

Ophelia

Tyrion’s monologue ATEEEEE

Riley

Peter Dinklage gave this show his all. His performance in every season is outstanding and this speech solidified him as my favorite character. I’m glad it was recognized and he won many awards for it.

It's interesting to see people's reactions to this episode and their interpretation of Shae's motives. Personally, I can follow Carter's reasoning and I agree that it has been building up to this. It's easy to see why she betrayed him, even if it came as a shock. (Not saying that that makes it right, I'm not justifying her.) However, I disagree with her loving him. Sure, she probably cared for him a little. It's hard not to like someone that is providing you with a lifestyle that you never had before. Add to the fact that he is single, high-born, and hungry for affection. I believe that she saw him as a ticket out of her situation and a source that she could easily manipulate. Tyrion didn't exactly have a line of women racing to be with him. So, that made her a prime contender for everything that he had to offer. To me, her "love" felt possessive, like she was angry that she had to share him with Sansa and drunk on the idea of him being hers. Basically, her affections felt shallow to me, like she was love-bombing him to make him dependent on her. People bring up the fact that she turned down Varys's offer for safety and money, and that she did so out of love. I disagree with this as well. I believe that she stayed out of pride. Pride brings people to do stupid things. Like, for instance, lying so blatantly on a stand. That whole act felt vengeful, full of spite and malice. Cannon is right: you don't do that to someone that you love. Why are people so sure that she loved him, then? Because she said nice words, willingly had sex with him, and made him promises? She has been paid to put on this sort of act her whole life. It's not a stretch to say that she was doing this to secure her position. But let's say (for argument's sake) that, somewhere along the way, she did start to care for him. I mean, it seemed like she started to care for Sansa, so why not him? It's hard to say when she probably grew up viewing each man as her next meal ticket. Maybe she thought: "if I can't have you, no one else can." They say that love and hate are two sides of the same coin, after all. OR maybe, just maybe, it wasn't really love and she secured a better offer while exacting her revenge? Just some food for thought. I'm interested to see what you guys think going forward.

They show how she poisoned him! Rewatch that scene she plays with Sansa’s hair and then her necklace. Then she walks by joffrees drink. Hope this was helpful.

Nat Brojeni

Btw every single time you guys say cooked I’m drinking a sip of my drink lol love it. 🥰

Great reaction to the most epic speech in Game of Thrones. Absolutely amazing. One of the best scenes in the series.

I'm pretty sure the scene with Jamie and Tywin shows that Tywin was already going to spare Tyrion and make him take the black and then work something out from there if need be. But Jamie's desperation got the better of him so he approached Tywin and he took up that opportunity to finally get Jaime to do what he wanted as well. You can even see in Jaimes eyes that he realizes he didn't need to do that, but it's too late so HE actually accepts the offer Tywin was now adding to his already made plan. Tywin is an opportunistic strategist, which is why he's been a hand for so many years. He is like LF, playing all sides, BUT with the actual power to take short cuts. Tywin corrects Jaime saying the trial isn't over he hasn't condemned him, and that "no, he will be punished accordingly" when Jaime insists he will execute him. He already had that plan, and Jaime fell into it, as many do with Tywins plans. I know it's kind of hard, but if you watch a scene from beginning to end, look for the subtleties, the scene tells you what you need to know, or will lead into the next one to finish telling you. If you try to figure out what's happening or going to happen while the scene is happening, you'll actually miss them just straight up telling you with all the visuals, dialogue, facial expressions etc. This includes revealing who killed Joffrey and how. Olenna talks to Sansa at the wedding and straightens her necklace. Olenna then straightens Margerys necklace in a similar fashion as she is implying she did it. You didn't really miss it though, most have had to go back and watch again or be told that's what happened. Idky they didn't do a better job tying it together on screen.

Trial by combat is gonna blow some minds. 😏 You guys should read Fire and Blood together, if you don't like reading you can listen to it on YouTube. But honestly reading it is so fun and easy, like hearing your grandparents childhood stories but with incest, murder, treason and dragons. 😂 A lot of details about the Targaryen and the dragons.

leah

i agree about stannis. im not a book reader but he was extremely disappointing and BORING

Bri-Ana Monique

If you guys love us, can we get GOT today 🥹👉🏽👈🏽

k

waiting for 4x7 is torture🫠🫠

If you take what Shae did at face value- then no, you can't justify or understand it, but so many people make excuses for so many other characters but immediately forget to give a single thought to a character that is not a fan favorite or a main character. Shae could have easily been taken by the Lannisters and threatened- or they could have made a deal with her; 'tell them what they want to hear and she gets to go free- Tyrion also may not die as we know Tywin wouldn't have sentenced him to die. She seemed distressed when he demanded trial by combat- compared to all of the other far fetched theories this fandom makes, is it really too far a stretch to imagine that she might have made that deal not only for herself but perhaps knowing that he would not die for it?

emma.bean

ok just watched the trailer for Kit Harington (Jon Snow) new thriller coming to theaters next month and hes a werewolf 😭 seeing him wrapped in furs again is iconic. To make things EVEN BETTER James Cosmo (Lord Commander Mormont) stars along side him. 💕

emma.bean

the fact that you are slowing up on GOT during the peak is crazy! i thought it would be full steam ahead for the second half season four😭 cruelty.

Achillis

Please McKay do not continue to announce that epic shit is going down in certain episodes. Let them experience it in their way.

Not today

Whats taking so long???!!!

LuvStarburst

carter is like me when it comes to the casinos, I have never walked out positive.

Tyrions speech is one of my absolute favourite parts of the show. I love the raw emotion he displayed. "I wish I was the monster you think I am" Absolute chills.

jasmin

lol i know i probably said it before but i love the hate for pycelle heso ridiculous

Jacob Goldsmith

Note to the geks. On your own time if you wanna go back to the royal wedding now knowing about the necklace and who killed joffrey you will see the whole scene in scene and in background of the grandmother poisoning him. Its super cool to watch once you know about the necklace on sansa and who killed joffrey. You will see she comes up to sansa and says o pretty necklace and then pulls a stone off like a sleight of hand god and then later hands tyrion the cup i think

Aritea🖤

no jokes he’s the first one who would kill everyone tho (or thinking abt it) that’s what he said👀☺️

DerekSniper30

What is the ringing sound in the background? 37:50

For Shae and Ygritte, there is this old quote from Socrates that I think fits: From the deepest desires often come the deadliest hate. I don't like the argument that they didn't really love them because of what they did, some people lash out when they are very hurt and I'm not saying that it's right but I don't think it's fair to judge them as not having truly loved them. A lot of the characters in this show aren't exactly mentally stable either. Even in real life we have crimes of passion where some unstable person hurts the person that they love because their love has become outright obsession. Again, not defending what they did but I do believe that they both truly loved and cared for Tyrion & Jon. All of that being said though, I never liked Shae except for when she tried to help Sansa. She was good to Sansa and you could tell she really wanted to protect that young girl from the horrors that she knew existed around every corner. Shae was naïve and stubborn, she overestimated her ability to protect herself amongst so many "powerful" evils. She argued with Tyrion over everything as if it would hurt her pride to listen which ofc could be due to the traumas of being forced into prostitution.

Saiyo

On a completely different note since some of the comments here are annoying tf out of me: Perhaps you guys could try having an official schedule so people can quit whining and crying over a whole 3-4 days of waiting for a new ep. Every time I try to read comments about the actual reactions, all I can see are a bunch of whiny people asking when you're going to upload this or that. I'm not saying you have to ofc, feel free to do things however you want, but I figured I'd at least throw it out there as a suggestion.'

Chanty Doodles

Varys clearly wasn't talking/hinting about himself being King to Oberyn lol. More like plotting to put someone he wants as a ruler, to protect the realm.

Guys, episode 4×7 is still locked here despite dropping on YouTube

Nicole

Shae is a snake

aotant

Some tell them it will get darker every season

Cyrill Attakpah

did they ask "what if tywin killed joffrey"?! we already know who

Sasha

I hated this damn trial, I never had an ounce of sympathy for King's Landing. I love Tyrion so much.

Sasha

If someone ever told me they liked Shae, I think I'd show them a real incident, and Tywin can get out too
