I believe the fresh wights can be killed easier than the older ones. The wildlings that just died and were turned went down fairly easily because they had flesh, whereas the older ones are only bones and have “ripened” to their final form and gained immunity to most things.

George RR Martin is a legend. With his quote "history rhymes" -- throughout his series of books, he masterfully integrates narrative "seeds" that repeat and rhyme throughout, seeing them come fruition much later is what makes this kind of storytelling one of the best. Like a small example is "The North Remembers" which is an ode to the Honor of Stark and how they were betrayed, but also "The North Remembers" the First Long Night and that is why House Stark always gives honor to the Nights Watch and always remembers their value...

I totally empathize with Jorah, but don't forget that Danaerys and her child were the target of multiple assassination attempts all because Jorah was spying on her. Regardless of how well intentioned he may seem, he did put her and her child's lives at risk many times. Her hate is definitely warranted.

The Valyrians did some amazing things but it's also very horrific, their empire is built on innumerable slaves for labor and human sacrifices to carry out fire magic and crazy experiments. Most likely, "Fire and Blood" isnt just the motto of House Targaryen but also the secret of Valyrian magic.

On the real though shoutout to birgitte hjort sørensen who played Karsi, the wildling chieftess… she was introduced for a total of 20 mins and made you root for her character’s survival until the end. I mean imagine if she had been a more permanent character… just brilliant!!!

I hope we don’t hit a speed bump in the schedule after HOTD finale and the end of season 5. I have been really enjoying this 3 a week GOT universe release schedule. With HOTD ending it would be great if we could get 3 GOT episodes a week and not stay at two.

Still one of my favorite episodes of the series. Nobody is ever ready for Hardhome lol. On a side note though, I'm with with Cannon on some of Tyrion's lines with Dany. The dialog between the two of them is kind of lackluster and half of what Tyrion says doesn't even go anywhere. I don't get why he is calling Dany terrible either bc he's never even met her until now lol. I'm also probably one of the few people who don't like Dany's break the wheel lines. Other than that, still love the episode.

Your comments about the dialogue is valid guys!!! Book 4 and book 5 of a song of ice and fire is complicated, and the showrunners attempt to combine and condense the two together. They take things from the book and kind of do their own thing (for the most part but not for all of the season). They create their own dialogue a lot more this season than past seasons, and the Tyrion dialogue scenes you were complaining about weren’t from the books but made up from the show runners/writers. All the dialogue that bothers you guys is from the show runners/show writers. All the best dialogue is taken straight from the book in this show. A lot of the dialogue from the first several seasons are from the book
