Meri Gjelaj

SERIOUSLYYY. there are moments in season 6 that I genuinely still think about daily, and think about with great fondness. There is nothing on this earth like GOT, this season will truly prove that

Zechree

3 seasons left, regardless of the (valid) hate, these reactions will be super interesting.

TheSauceGuy

Interesting first second of the video

davosmith1

french patronies crying! 🇺🇸🦅

I think this season is OVERALL better than season 5 but it's up to interpretation. I think you guys will like it though and I'm excited!

These guys would've loved book Wyman Manderly

Tom Murray

Theon didn't have to worry about shrinkage

Gunder

Never seen this show before. Caption had me intrigued. I am full of regrets now

Enma

The music this season is the best in the whole series imo

Gingerovens

They're following drogon's trail for those that don't get it

GB3

I think the last 2 episodes carry this season

BipolarKitten

Cannon is completely done with this show. Everyone is getting killed off. Cannon The Broken.

smif

cannon cooking with the predictions‼️

Bellaa

he must be asleep rn or something…u will see him in the comments soon👀

brog.

love that a certain thing predicted here people acted like it was fucking random when it ended up happening. clearly not so.

TheSauceGuy

This episode did go by super fast

Ana

I know exactly which one you're talking about 😩😂😂

Nepenthe

This season has some legit greatest of all time moments. The character writing continues to take a nosedive but everything else including the cinematography and action choreography reaches new levels of peak never before seen on television. So many of us watching at the time of airing were actually shocked at the level of quality some of these episodes had. Excited to see you guys react to the goats!

JC

Love season 6

Ana

Brig's impression of Melisandre's powers is amazing 😂

Slizzle

My boy go and start from s1, you’re missing out on 4 seasons of peak

Amna

Particularly excited for episode 4, if you know you know

leah

gonna cure my depression 🙏

Amna

Brig has that one move whenever he imitates Melisandra😂😂

Ana

Cersei is the oldest

Ana

Great reaction I pretend dorne doesn't exist. Can't wait for the next one

JC

The scene with Sansa and Brienne at the beginning breaks my heart! And it's a relief after everything Sansa's been through

I❤️movies&tvshows

When Roose and Ramsay we’re talking about Stannis.. Roose says Thanks to you the falseKing Stannis Baratheon is dead. And that he would reward the man who struck the killing blow talking about Stannis.

JC

Cersei is older than Jaime

Amna

Sansa accepting Brienne's service reminded me sooo much of Catelyn😭😭

tomlette

love that moment 💕

Amna

What I would do to get book Dorne😭😭

Amna

Correct me if I'm wrong, Melisandra is suppose to be like 400 years old

Amna

Got me all in my feels, I miss Catelyn😭

Shadow

Yea that’s the best guess. That’s what the actress said. Alys actress said a similar thing about her character too. But those 2 give us the best guesses lol

Lydia

Cannon's prediction board had me deadddd. he's not trying to have any more surprises so he tried to predict them all lmao

Mysterious Figure

After I heard Cannon give his predictions I just wanted someone to give him a good hug.

emma.bean

solid ep for the first of the season.. theon breaks my heart.. i love the stuff with him and sansa so much. also brienne and sansa moment is class. love davos defending jon & linking up with the good nights watchmen. daenerys circling back to her beginnings with the dothraki is the most interesting i think her storyline has been for a minute. it is hard to feel for cersei but tough stuff there.. and man lena heady gives a good performance. i think defeated melisandre grappling with her faith and learning she is ancient is compelling. dorne forever sucks and i want to punch the high sparrow in the face (the filth militant slip was so real) lol but overall love the episode. cant wait for the rest of this season. the predictions 😂

DeeJayyy

My favorite season😁

Darrell Henry

The Dorne arc was butchered. In the book they show you how upset the common people in Dorne are at Oberyn’s death. However the Prince doesn’t get murdered and has a master plan to take down the Lannisters which was pretty cool and I hate that they cut it.

Raymond Graber

She is, I thought they were supposed to be twins.

tomlette

Carter being so perplexed by Cannons predictions was hilarious. Have to respect the no holds barred approach from Cannon here though. With this show.. anything is possible 😂

Alex

you guys will love this eason also rank all the season so far. Like I said season 5 is the worst 6 might be the best

tomlette

Bro has left all reason behind and I’m here for it 💀😂 death and chaos

Nashi

Wot

Mitch

Very fun season, lots of writing issues but still much more enjoyable than s5. I still remember exactly where I was when I watched this for the first time back in 2016, the 2 year wait after s5 was next level.

kami

can we pretend the Dorne arc simply doesn't exist please

Steve

After so many rewatches of GoT, you can actually see D&D's fingerprints all over. This episode was not good, there were some bright spots, fortunately the season gets much better

Dakota

Yeah Melisandre is super old and Stannis boned her bro lmao

studiogek

All i wanted to know is HOW those predictions came to be and why he thought of them 😂

tomlette

No it was so funny 😭

Caraxes🐐DT

They doing 3 a week…sadly this was the last one until Tuesday I think

Vanessa Sanchez

This is seriously one of my favorite seasons! Super excited for you guys to watch it and absolutely love your guys predictions… 😅🤪🫢 wish I could elaborate but 🤫

Vanessa Sanchez

Brig, you are too much!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 so hilarious how you imitate Melisandra!!!

Kite

shout-out to mothers

Vanessa Sanchez

I love how Carter is like, “ ummm, how are you coming up with these predictions?” 😅😂

Dude Man McGee

Had a ROUGH week at work, especially today, just got home and wanted to cry when I saw a surprise GOT drop. Thank you Studio Gek 🙏

1999

God Melisandre is a baddie in her true form 😩

Vanessa Sanchez

Brig, literally wrote down a prediction after getting the actual answer… OMG!!! I am dying 🤣🤣🤣🤣😅😅

Goat-ruto

Some sussy predictions in this

Rawdota

yall cook way too hard lmfao. "is he gonna wear the necklace" killed me

Wadzi

Season 6 is pure PEAK. One of my favorite GOT seasons ❤️❤️❤️ 2 of my top 5 eps are in this season. Excited about your reactions 💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿

Dude Man McGee

Davos and those night's watch guys better hold the door.

Kai Harwood

In the ASOIAF universe, rubies are known to hold the power of 'glamoring' magically turning your appearance into something else.

Jessica

I’m so excited for this season!!!🔥

chloe s.

S6 has my top 2 eps aaaa i'm excited

chloe s.

i see what you did there 👀

Molly

I love season 6 🤩

Ray

Geks Melisandre is actually so old that she is alive by the time of HoTD 👀 I thought she was gonna show up in S2 ngl

emma.bean

love seeing all the new names in this comment section! the vibes are immaculate rn. idk what time zone the haters are operating on, but im glad i get to enjoy this for a bit before they come with the fury. 💕

Nomaan

This whole show Dorne plotline is so annoying because in the books prince Doran has been plotting for revenge. He has a daughter called Arianne who was gonna marry Viserys but viserys died so instead now his other son Quentyn was going to Meereen to try and marry Daenerys but he’s killed by a dragon. So Dorne is much more important in the books

emma.bean

that would honestly be so cool if she had a cameo. if she is 400 years old she was definitely kickin around during hotd days.

emma.bean

the cut too 😂 the noise is giving excitement, frustration, overwhelmed... its just giving honestly lol

Billie

hope you’re doing better 🤍

Anthony Rodriguez

Trivia: Jorah’s second wife was from House Hightower

vally

Great thing to wake up to!

Jessica

Right?? It’s great🙏🏼

Jessica

Blind training is great tho 😎

Ante

Melisandre not beating the meme allegations was hilarious. Brig was spot on. I swear half the nudity budget was spent on this one actress lmao.

Jessica

That whole Theon/sansa/pod/brienne scene is just great I’m so emotional 🥹

emma.bean

Leo! you said it not me.. haha idk im not trying to call him out exclusively. it was just chill vibes in here for a bit and it was nice for a sec. im just glad i enjoyed that before the aggressively negative opinions rained down on us. its bound to happen.

Sean Carroll

This episode is truly one of the worst in the show from a logic and writing perspective. I will break down each issue below. I’m bound to get hate from it from the season 6 lovers but I don’t care. Jon snow: it makes absolutely zero sense that alliser Thorne and the other mutineers would leave Jon’s body there when they know he would be found. The way it looks from thornes perspective is he wants it to be a private murder where the murderer/s are not obvious and therefore they might get away with it. The issue is that he literally then admits to the murder alongside the others so what was the point of that. Not to mention Thorne is mad that Davos and the others took Jon’s body and keeping it safe, if he’s so mad about it why didn’t he burn Jon’s body and just be done with it, I’m ignoring the white walker thing because obviously there are none around but still it’s a topic that shouldn’t be ignored. Thorne and the others obviously have a death wish because they know the wildlings will be mad and come looking for revenge. The whole Jon snow death plot line makes no sense at all Theon and Sansa: first of all I don’t believe that they could have survived the fall from winter fell but others in this Patreon disagree so I’ll let it slide, however they should have taken some fall damage and be struggling to escape on foot with no pain. Then we have them literally walk through icy water up to their chest height. There is no way they could run through snowy fields and then get in water that cold without experiencing hypothermia. They then are able to continue running after all that until they find a safe spot. Next I’ll move onto the timing issue with Brienne and pod saving them. This makes zero sense timing wise as Sansa and Theon escaped at the start of the battle while brienne killed stannis at the end of the battle. We should assume that despite the overwhelming victory the battle lasted about an hour or longer. It is absolutely illogical for brienne to save Sansa and Theon who have been running for hours chased by soldiers and hounds who likely left soon after they escaped all for brienne and podrick to somehow show up at the perfect time to save them. How could brienne even know that Sansa escaped as she left to kill stannis at the same time, and where to find her in the vastness of the northern country in snow. Dorne: this entire plot line this episode is the most egregious as it both provides ridiculous plot armour and inconsistency all over the place. In season 5 Doran Martell had soldiers who obeyed his every order and were quick to take ellaria and the sand snakes hostage after they attempted to kill Myrcella. Now all of a sudden when Doran finds out about myrcella she kills him and the sand snake girl kills his best soldier with no problem, then ellaria brings up that none of his soldiers respect him or care about him when that is a direct inconsistency from season 5 where they took her in. Not to mention how in the world could ellaria have learned this about his soldiers, there was zero setup at all for this. Jaime and Trystane: so remember how all 3 sand snakes were on the pier when Jaime left in the season 5 finale???? Well apparently 2 of them have learned how to teleport because now they are on the boat with trystane on his way back to dorne. This is unquestionably bad writing because David and Dan kinda forgot that they weren’t going with them from literally one episode ago. The plot armour issue is that if they were on the boat all along then why the hell didn’t they kill Jaime and bronn as well? Jaime is now a useless soldier and one good sneak attack on both of them would have made a massive dent on the lannisters, it makes no sense why they would have not even tried to do this given they were on the same boat, and the shipmen were most likely all dornishmen as Jaime and bronn travelled to dorne alone. God this is fucking painful writing. Jaime’s plot armour is through the roof at this stage and it’s never been more obvious. If the dornish soldiers don’t care about Doran or his rule why didn’t they just kill Jaime and bronn back in season 5 when they captured everyone in the water gardens? Exactly it makes no sense Tyrion and Varys: cock jokes popping up more and more nowadays. So given all the buildup of Dany acquiring both ships in season 2 and unsullied and second son soldiers in season 3, she would have hundreds of ships and tens of thousands of soldiers…. How in the hell did the sons of the harpy which are simply street thugs burn down dany’s entire fleet/majority of her fleet without any single soldier noticing this out of the thousands that she has on guard. Surely the defense of her ships which are her transportation to Westeros are of the highest priority but somehow not a single soldier guards these ships. The writing surrounding this is just painful as it makes no logistical sense in the slightest. Dany: the Dothraki show that they don’t know who she is, she tells them she is the khalessi of the great grass sea alongside her other titles but the khal says she is nobody. Then all of a sudden changes his mind when she tells him she used to be khal drogos wife. Why should he believe her. Also if they don’t know her why did they make such a big fuss of capturing her in the season 5 finale. Thousands of horses circling around a woman they don’t know doesn’t make sense. Melisandre: there is a plot hole in this scene, we have seen at least one scene when she was in the bath in season 3 or 4 talking to stannis wife that she wasn’t wearing her necklace and she was still in her young form, but now all of a sudden she takes off the necklace and becomes her true form. This just shows that David and Dan forgot their own show. Wow there is a lot wrong with this episode. I genuinely hope no one tries to defend the egregious mistakes that this episode had. 3/10 episode overall. Only good scenes were Theon keeping Sansa safe (despite writing errors) and the Jaime and Cersei scene. Theon continues to be the most interesting character in the show

Renaldo Allard

All Amma say is the best episode is 6X9 is the best episode In the season

Sean Carroll

Don’t care, if they want to understand the issues with the episode they can. Not reading something just because it’s long shows a very lazy person

Sean Carroll

I have returned and made my “hater comment” I have embraced the hater lifestyle and changed my name lol

kami

spitting facts

Sean Carroll

I’m perfectly ok, just here to provide my insight where no one else will given the hard on everyone has for season 6

Sean Carroll

Great episode visually but filled with errors. We will talk about it when we get to it.

Sean Carroll

I am Sean, and yes I was asleep/busy all day so have only just returned here to provide insight into why this episode is terrible

Jessica

It’s not necessarily just the necklace that is making her appear younger so thats not a “plot hole” it’s a source of power surely, but I’ve seen videos that explain this further

G Don

Get a life buddy

Sean Carroll

Jessica: how is that setup in any way? We are lead to believe from this scene that it’s directly related to the necklace, she slowly removes it and places it down, next thing we see is an old woman. You are defending an indefensible plot hole. While it is a plot hole it’s nothing overwhelmingly important to the story, however this shows the early issues with David and dans writing

Sean Carroll

I have a life, I work hard and make a good living. I simply enjoy watching my favourite reactors watch shows I enjoy. Despite that I am not a blind watcher and will call out major issues when I see them

Bambina

I’ve had a rough past few days as I’ve travelled all the way to Vienna to see Taylor Swift, but the concert was cancelled the night before due to severe threats. So thanks for that upload, it made the day so much better!

Sean Carroll

A false 9.9, I’ve seen better episodes in tv shows without all the major writing errors in that episode. If you haven’t figured out by now that got fans will overhype their show then you haven’t been paying attention

Sean Carroll

Good luck in life Leo with a lazy mindset like that. How about you actually read the comment and provide some pushback to what I’m saying Better yet, I find it funny how I put forth genuine issues with the episode and all people can say is “get help or get a life, or I ain’t reading all that” This just shows that people blind watch without critical thought and have no interest in thinking critically about the show and can’t handle criticism at all.

Caraxes🐐DT

Basically just a 2 day wait so we’ll be fine lol

Nomaan

Now I know this Sean guy hasn’t read the books as much as he tries to say he has cos Theon and Jeyne escape Winterfell in the same way…. the snow was deep which cushioned their fall

Sean Carroll

I only read up to a storm of swords so I don’t know the situation after that. I’ve heard things from book readers like stannis never going to kill his daughter. I never said I’ve read all the books. Regardless I would imagine falling into snow from a large height would do some damage to your legs. I also prefaced that comment by saying other Patreon members have tried to correct me so I’m willing to let that slide. Do you have any issue with the rest of my comment or do you agree?

Shadow

Mel’s necklace that helps her appear young is known in the lore as a “glamour” which is used a few times by characters to disguise their appearance. Such as the Lord of Bones being glamoured to disguise him and replace Mance on the pire. It’s usually a ruby or some other smaller object magically enhanced

Mitch

He’s not in a bubble he’s 100% right. It’s an amazing ep (visually) but has glaring flaws writing wise.

Mitch

You’re literally 100% right with every criticism here but clowns just want to mindlessly consume content because cool battle scene.

Sean Carroll

Exactly Mitch, glad to see there is another sane individual in here, so many comments on this thread and only Jessica has actually attempted to bring up some contention. The rest of these guys can’t debate what I’ve said so assume I have no life and tell me to get one.

vally

Is it possible for you to ban Sean? Sadly his negativity and hatred towards the coming seasons takes away the joy at your reaction and interacting with others in the comments. I don’t think I’m the only one that’s feeling this way.

Dani

Whenever I join a new reaction channel this season is the one am always excited for people to watch. I love it so much, can't wait for the rest.

Mitch

It’s much easier to call someone a “no life” or a “hater” than to actually engage with valid criticisms.

Sean Carroll

So you want to cancel me just because you don’t like what I have to say against your favourite show? I personally don’t agree with cancelling of any form and think that anyone that desires cancelling is a very fragile individual. What happened to free speech and everyone gets an opinion.

Sean Carroll

Yes it’s a very sad world we live in when people would rather avoid hearing tough truths and just cancel anything that offends them so they can live in an echo chamber of false positivity. I genuinely am not trying to be an arsehole to anyone, im simply a guy putting forth my thoughts and people just seem to hate me for it. If people had genuine pushback on what I’ve said then I’d respectfully discuss it with them, but sadly I can’t expect that from people who are blind watchers

vally

Free speech is good and needed. I myself got heat for my opinion on Rhaenyra. But brother you’re camping in the comments. And it’s so repetitive. We’re get it, you hate the later seasons. MOVE ON. And stop trying to convince people of your opinion. You’re just annoying as heck.

bateman bookworm

just block him, trust it will make your comment section experience better

vally

Yea the funny part is, that I already blocked him but I still see people complaint about him. Also the comment section gets confusing. 😢

bateman bookworm

its one thing to have criticisms, its another to nit pick at everything. No show is 100% perfect, and it doesn’t need to be in order to enjoy it. I still love these seasons because i love this world, but if i pointed out everything wrong or poorly written i would never enjoy any show

Dani

Sean you're completely entitled to your opinion, but we've heard it, and multiple times actually and it's in your frickin name. Honestly you don't have to spam, we're all paying money to have some good time. I work 8 hours a day everyday so I don't always get to watch the guys whenever I want so it's a little exhausting having to see toxic repetitive comments when I'm finally able to have some fun. All I ask is you dial it back just a tiny bit. We already know you hate those seasons.

Sean Carroll

Free speech is the same whether I say something once or say something one million times. Your logic is flawed.

Sean Carroll

Saying season 7 is peak got makes me want to vomit

Vidar

Your name is just telling me your very easily influensed by public opinions and is unable to form a personal render without public support and acknowlegment

vally

Also to say that I want to „cancel“ you. Honey you can only be canceled if you’re relevant. All you’re known of is the annoying twat in the gek‘s comments. And with these words I am back at blocking you loser.

Sean Carroll

That’s factually incorrect. Cancelling is defined as “neutralising or negating the force or effect of another”. Whether or not I’m relevant has nothing to do with it And despite my not caring whether I’m relevant or not in this comments section it seems that I am relevant considering early comments on this reaction video were talking about me before I even commented

Alex

Next ep is my favorite of the whole show, enjoy boys

Sean Carroll

Calling me a twat or a loser is unnecessary given I’m only giving my thoughts on the show, I’m not attacking anyone in here

JC

they are but she was born first. I know it seems like silly information but in books it has greater relevance 🥰

Sean Carroll

I embraced the tagline so thought it funny to change my name for a little while. This has nothing to do with public support given I rarely ever receive any in here. I also do provide personal takes. Did you see my massive comment at the top of this comments section. That’s all from my personal viewing. Most people in my position would have run away crying but I simply embraced the backlash as its comedic to me, all the backlash I get is just words on a screen to me

mk

Sometimes the differences between show and book are so funny and seem random "Well remember Catelyn? Her corpse was pulled out of the Trident after the Red Wedding by Arya's direwolf - controlled by Arya - to become a revengeful murder zombie." and "Well Mance is not actually burned, that is the Lord of Bones, disguised as Mance. Mance is later sent to Winterfell with a bunch of wildling women to save (fake) Arya from Ramsay."

Vidar

Idek what backlash ur on about. Idk who you are but if you take as much offense to my opinion about the last seasons that u want to ”vomit”, you have some deeper rooted issues. Hope this helps ❤️

Shadow

Yea without reading the books you hear about some of the differences and it’s so hard to understand how they even came to be😂😂

Sean Carroll

The vomit comment was 50% serious and 50% a joke

Mitch

Difference between other shows and got is that GOT WAS LEGITIMATELY THE GOAT. It had objectively some of the best writing and dialogue to ever be put on screen so it’s held to a higher standard than other shows. And pointing out GLARING AND MASSIVE FLAWS in the later seasons isn’t nitpicking. Go ahead try and nitpick flaws from the first 4 seasons. You cannot, because they are basically flawless. I still enjoy the later seasons but I point out the flaws because of how much I like the show and because of the quality that it had previously set for itself.

Jack

Sad day for the Swifties. Glad we could make your day!

Maria

Nah Mitch those seasons aren’t flawless. The Tywin Arya scenes in S2 are super cool and the acting is amazing. But they don’t really make sense. Tywin wouldn’t trust her like that after he figured out she’s a northerner & she’s acting weird. Don’t even get me started on Dany in S2. And there are several changes they made from the books in the earlier seasons that most people welcomed. So when people say they are flat out terrible writers 🤨 it’s all rather convoluted but some of you swear it’s so cut & dried

Katie Thomas

Don’t know if anyone’s mentioned yet, or if you remember but Jaime and Cersei are twins btw!

camilla

@batemanbookworm 🤝🏼

Maria

Charissa is totally right. The issue is you patronize everyone, including the geks (pun intended 🤓). You don’t give them space to figure things out for themselves. And you feel the need to go under every comment that says they enjoy something about later season to point out why you think they are dumb for liking it. Just because we enjoy a moment/episode doesn’t mean we are ignorant to the flaws. Most of my favorite cinematic moments are from flawed stories and I don’t care. Because that story was able to strike an emotional chord with me that even a “flawless” one couldn’t. Everyone is different. So there’s no need to be so obnoxious to other people for enjoying things & getting excited about stuff. Btw when I first saw the episode I assumed brienne found them because the hounds were barking so loud🤷🏻‍♀️

Tokyo Ghoul Supremacist

Dunno why you think Thorne wanted the murder to be private. He clearly doesn't care who finds out cause he knows there's no one left to punish him. Jon and Stannis are dead, Jon's supporters are a minority, and he underestimates the wildlings' loyalty. With Sansa and Theon, I'm pretty sure no one knew they escaped so no one was looking for them until the battle was over. The timing makes sense to me. Brienne finding them randomly was a bit forced but I can suspend my disbelief enough for that scene. Agree that Dorne and Dany's plots are wack

Jake

Filth militant is epic

ssj4rit

Carter’s face when Jack said the Night’s Watch is honorable had me dead (10:21)

Uros Vesic

Dorne plot was ass, thankfully it is done now. Also, who is this Sean and what did he do? lol

JJ

this is just weird cause theres been scene(s) where we see her without the necklace on before this and she didnt shift in age

Bambina

You’re not the only one. However he’s entitled to his opinion. However desperately he may communicate it.

Sean Carroll

I put forth a negative opinion of seasons 5-8 and people can’t handle it

vally

Not if he’s ruining it for me, the community and the geks. It is known that the geks are reading our comments and I find it unfair to them to repeatedly mess with their expectations. Also it’s so annoying how you can’t even say one positive thing without him being „so actually there is a flaw in the logic bla bla bla“ he needs to leave or we should just all collectively block his ass so we can still enjoy and engage in a positive manner.

emma.bean

ok... i genuinely tried to read it all but i just cant lol. its just frustrating. your need for logic and reason in a FANTASY TV SHOW is puzzling... like for most of what you prob said up there.. who cares????? ive literally watched all the reaction channels cover this show, and listened to all the podcasts that covered this season when it was airing and none of them bumped up against half of this stuff and if they did have issues it was like a mention but it didnt ruin the episode for them. in fact if you go back and listen to those podcasts (most of them book readers and huge fans) that came out after each episode aired, or read some of the articles on this season, people loved it. through the end of the season. i have never heard someone hate it as much as you do. i dont even know why you enjoy these reactions at this point😭 i cant imagine taking the time to watch people react to something i would rate a 3/10. like its so bizarre. idk. anyways. do you i guess haha i just prob wont read them from now on.

Sean Carroll

I’m only going to be condescending to people who come after me for providing my opinion on episodes and seasons. If people actually talk to me with genuine pushback on my comments then I will have a discussion with them. I am not patronising the geks by explaining my issues with the show and I will continue to provide my thoughts each episode. I think considering they are all grown men they can handle a little negativity towards the show in their comments compared to the overwhelming positivity that we mostly see here

emma.bean

even the geks didnt mention like any of this so it must not have bothered them?? i just dont understand sean lol i tried.

Sean Carroll

I disagree that Jon’s supporters are a minority considering the backlash during the meeting. I would say they found out very quick that Sansa and Theon escaped as their will always be soldiers around the place not fighting in the battle, not to mention finding Myranda dead would make them act quickly.

Sean Carroll

Tywin clearly never trusted Arya, that much was already obvious, however she was such a non threat to him or anyone back then so he didn’t care

Dante

Is it just me or has the lighting improved slightly?

Sean Carroll

Emma: if the truth hurts than that’s a you thing. Logic still needs to be in a show with human characters with real life issues. If people are able to walk through icy water with no issues that’s illogical, if people are able to teleport from dorne to a boat hundreds of miles away that’s illlgical, if brienne is able to find Sansa after having a few hours delay alongside the vastness of the Northern Territory that’s illlgical. Just because you don’t like that some people like myself have problems with this season doesn’t mean it’s wrong for them to point it out. Like I’ve said season 6 is not terrible, it’s a 6.5 overall for me, the first episode is very clearly the worst of season 6. I also don’t overhype the last two episodes like everyone else do, we will get to those later. I watch the reactions because I am a fan of the geks and enjoy the first 4 seasons. I’m already in the journey with them so I’ll continue to the end but will not be silent about the problems I see with the show

emma.bean

*puts forth ONLY negative opinions... incessantly. just a bit of a vibe killer thats all.

Sean Carroll

I praised the first four seasons, but yes at this point there is very little to praise

emma.bean

ok man.. idk what else to say really haha agree to disagree. I am glad my mind doesnt work that way. for example when brienne showed up on my first watch i as like "F*ck YES lets goooooooooo" rather than being like "wait no no no that is not realistic how is she just randomly here wtf". Like i see what you are saying with everything, i just genuinely dont care about those things and i think thats ok too. agree to disagree forever lol.

emma.bean

also just out of curiosity... what are your top 3 (or 5 if thats easier) live action television series. and which television series do you think is the most flawless of anything ever made. live action only.

Tokyo Ghoul Supremacist

Jon's supporters are absolutely a minority in the show and the books. Davos says it himself. The backlash lasts 5 seconds and most of the officers are with Thorne. I don't know where you're getting the opposite from. Your last point might potentially be true but it's a complete headcanon. There is 0 actual evidence in the show that any of the soldiers went after Sansa before Ramsey ordered them to. You can believe it as you want ofc but the only consistant interpretation is that Ramsey sent soldiers after he found out she escaped.

Afra

I will forever miss Cersei’s long hair rip 💔

Uros Vesic

I dislike seasons 7-8 as any other person does, but there were some really good parts after season 4. I get the vibe killer comment if u only post negative comments, but it is also your right to do so. I don't mind it if you are not overly aggressive with multiple comments under one video, and if criticism is productive instead of just hate spewing.

brog.

this guy in the comments saying people are trying to cancel him. i think you are just annoying brotha please get a grip on reality

Sean Carroll

At least you can admit you don’t care about the logical aspects of a show and only seem to watch for the hype/epic moments. I can agree that sometimes I might go to far however there was just too many issues in this episode to go unnoticed for me. Top 5 live action shows 1. Breaking bad 2. Better call Saul 3. Sopranos 4. Peaky blinders 5. Hannibal Top 5 shows overall 1. Attack on titan 2. Avatar the last airbender 3. Breaking bad 4. Death note 5. Better call saul

Sean Carroll

One person a few hours ago literally said “can this guy please be banned” so I’m not just saying things

Sean Carroll

I made one really big comment which was a genuine complaint comment. Sadly most people just go straight to telling me to get a life. I am the type of guy who welcomes genuine discourse or debate

vally

I have him blocked but I’m betting everything I got from the iron bank that he’ll coming for you

brog.

thats not being canceled they just think you are annoying

Sean Carroll

I can agree my last point may be headcanon however in my opinion it just seems like the logical conclusion you would make and I provided my reasonable thought process

Caraxes🐐DT

But you literally reply to people that didn’t ask for your opinion lol somebody can say it’s they favorite season and you just throw your ranking in there for no reason at all…that’s why people call you a hater smh just let them think what they want

alexis ♡︎

little caesar’s take is so real

emma.bean

ok i wouldnt say i only watch for hype/epic moments.. some of my favorite stuff in this show are the characters and the little moments. I understand the logic holes ruin that for some people they just dont ruin for me and i still think there is good writing here. for me. for example i think next episode is fantastic. from start to finish such a good episode of tv. zero complaints. im just less critical of the "how is this possible" stuff.

emma.bean

respectable top 5. just trying to understand you better haha but yeah.. im not surprised by your picks.

Sean Carroll

Banned from the Patreon = cancelled

Sean Carroll

The logic in “setting their expectations” is flawed because when people say that they only say that in regards to negative comments. If people make 100% of positive comments then no one is calling for them to be banned. You are simply an individual who doesn’t like that someone has a negative opinion of something you like

Sean Carroll

It’s a comments section Caraxes with the ability to reply to comments. I haven’t asked for your opinion here and yet you’ve replied to my comment. Works both ways. And yes people can absolutely think what they want, my difference of opinion doesn’t change that

ssj4rit

Even if you find him annoying it’s not a bannable offense. Unless he was being misogynistic or racist or threatening people it makes little sense to ban someone for putting forth an opinion on a show, even if it’s overly zealous. If his critiques dampen your enjoyment then you can just personally block him.

Vik Mar

Me: dares to open comments Comments: sEaN SeAn SeAn 😂😂😂🤦‍♂️

alexis ♡︎

i definitely do hate cersei but it is so heartbreaking to see her jogging to the dock with a smile on her face at the thought of seeing her daughter who, to cersei’s genuine astonishment, is incredibly sweet and kind. and the scene right after with her and jaime ☹️ so good

Marcus Andriakenas

Sean, i also agree with your critizism but charissa is really making a good point about to let the guys discuss it themselves. They’re smart enough to see most of it I’m sure.

Charlie Bronson

I blocked that loser a long time ago, 100% better without having to read his negative BS every post. He craves attention because he doesn't get any IRL.

alexis ♡︎

@charissa glimbus W!! him and schwifty are so funny

Sean Carroll

Best scene of the episode for me but I don’t feel any pity for Cersei at all

Maria

I don’t care if it’s the best ever, Attack on Titan is a silly ass name. I know it’s probably translated, but why couldn’t they come up with a better name?! 😭

Maria

The fact that Lena never won an Emmy for this role 😤

Lydia

You commented under someone’s comment that said “season 6 is really good” or something and you commented “nah” idk how that welcomes discourse lol you’re def not beating the allegations

Lydia

I love the name 🤷‍♀️ it’s iconic. Grammatically tho idk lol

Sean Carroll

Look at my big comment, when someone came to me with genuine point I discussed my thoughts with them

Sean Carroll

What has the name got to do with anything about the show? It’s the best written show out there, never seen anyone complain about the name before

darist

It's not even that I disagree with most of what you said, I definitely wasnt a fan of this episode either and think most of your complaints are valid. It's just this constant repetitive negativity that we see under multiple comments on most of the GoT posts that's getting annoying, like no one really wants this kind of energy in the comment section of a reaction. As Charissa mentioned, there's so many other avenues where this kind of discourse would be welcomed. Like people loved this season when it came out and I know i personally really enjoyed it my first watch through and am happy I wasn't exposed to a bunch of online discourse about how flawed the writing is, and for a lot of us a big part of enjoying reactions is to see other people get that experience too, and the constant negativity from yourself and others about how terrible it is potentially takes away from that.

Lydia

The big comment doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Honestly I think one big comment with your thoughts on the episode would be great and welcomed. It’s just the 30 other comments under other’s where you just say “incorrect” or “lol” or “nah” that I think are getting under people’s skin. Bc those other comments don’t really include your thoughts to start a conversation, it’s just taken as instigation

Caraxes🐐DT

I only reply to you when you reply to others lol and it being a comment section don’t mean you have to reply your ranking to people that love the episode or season…no your opinion don’t change anything but it’s still weird what you do

alexis ♡︎

@sean idk ig it’s not quite pity for me, but i definitely feel some level of sadness for her despite her heinous behavior lol. like yes, this woman (cersei) is an absolute monster of a person, but here she is, grieving the loss of one of the only good things she’s ever had a hand in making. and the dialogue, my god. maybe it’s cus im alr scared of being buried, but the imagery of having to wake up every morning knowing your child is not only gone, but rotting away would be too much me for me, so it garners my sympathy, even if it’s cersei 😭

BubblePriest

4 hours would be fine, let's be reasonable.

Maria

I’m not trying to critique aot writing. I’ve only seen one random episode cause of a friend. I was serious about the name tho, so I googled and I got some good answers. Nbd

Tokyo Ghoul Supremacist

To be fair most of the criticisms aren't really plot holes at all, they're just writing contrivances. It's not really illogical for Brienne to find Sansa it's just unlikely. Every story has plot contrivances, but the later seasons of GOT rely on them more than earlier seasons did to fill in the gaps in writing.

studiogek

Ok time to end the war of Sean the great GoT S5-8 hater and the comments lol. Sean isnt getting banned as he has not been disrespectful or rude in his comments, BUT we would ask Sean to maybe dial it back just a little bit lol. To everyone else, its almost worse at this point 😂 Everyone respect one anothers freedom of speech, and if the line gets crossed into rude, disrespectful or hateful territory that is when the bans come into effect.

Cannon Andrus

I can totally see where a lot of you are coming from with Sean’s negative comments about some of your favorite moments/ episodes in the show. You see it happen with us with Naruto with cárter and brig, and AOT. The whole point is being able to have these conversations and expression of opinion without it getting toxic. Honestly, a lot of Sean’s comments and breakdowns I actually really appreciate and look forward to seeing, now do I think there’s been some toxicity from Sean and others because of these? Absolutely. And that is not ok. So let’s all just act like grown ups and be able to express our opinions without spewing venom towards each other!

Jada

It still pmo to this day lena nor alfie got that Emmy😣😫

Jada

lol the name is befitting good for brig

Brig Andrus

Some of y’all in these comment sections blow my mind ☠️

Niffol

Bran is important. Jaime pushing him out of the tower is the catalyst for everything else thats happened.

BubblePriest

More words here than in the actual episode. Yay I'm just going to block this person and enjoy the rest of the series.

Niffol

just to clear up the white walker confusion. There is a hierarchy, The Night King is the icy darth maul. The other white skinned blue eyes are white walkers, and then all the undead are just undead raised by the white walkers/night king.

Jada

You just know they hated every bit of it as well

Jada

lol I've been gone for a few weeks and I come back and this Sean guy is everywhere where did he come from? Has he been here the whole time?

Fatipapi (Byakuya’s Girl)

Im glad you guys spoke on it. I see more people spewing hate on sean than i actually see seans comments and it’s getting quite annoying 😅 i never even noticed his comments that much and i definitely read through em. I think its wack people are asking yall to ban him when he hasn’t even crossed a major line. Even if he dislikes every post, he’s free to comment on it as long as he does so without straight disrespect. If he annoys you that much, just fucking block him? Why try to take away his right to watch vids and comment and be a part of a community just because you don’t like what he has to say on certain shows? 😅😅 anyways, glad yall spoke on it and i hope it puts this shit to rest cuz it’s getting tiring 😴🥱

Mr. John Kagurabachi

Haikyuu 24 hour marathon would save this day 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Mads

Hey Sean! I wanna have a healthy discussion about the topics you have grievances with here. I like when there’s differences of opinions, it’s a good thing! I’m not going to be defending them for being good writing lol, and I have a lot of issues with what D&D have written, but I like to try and see why a writer has written something in the way that they did, so here’s my thinking: Thorne killing and then leaving Jon’s body for all to see: I don’t think Thorne was trying to be secretive about it, he wanted everyone to see after it was done so that he could have the meeting with everyone to try and explain why he did it. He’s thinks he did the right thing here. He probably thought when Jon’s dead, the nights watch would all be against the wildlings, so they wouldnt be a problem for him. I think Thorne thought a lot more people hated Jon. Or that Jon’s good friends wouldn’t be able to rise against him after Jon’s dead. Theon and Sansa not getting hypothermia: idk, adrenaline can heat the body sometimes, and we don’t know the specific temperature of the water/air there (even tho we can see breath). People who fall into cold lakes are able to get out and walk for periods of time before hypo. Brienne coming right in the nick of time: this happens a lot in every show. Characters are conveniently in places so it can move the plot along. Take everyone’s fav show for example, Breaking Bad **Spoilers** When the twins pull up to Walt’s house in S3 and Mike just was conveniently there exactly when they were. I’m not gonna go through all your points but I started with those!!

DietCocaine

I need 6x2 rn please bro i’m feining please

Niffol

ONCE AGAIN Cannon with the Based take, Spin to Win.

Kp__

Would you guys ever watch a show called, Being Human? Its a British TV show, absolutely incredible in my opinion but thats because i'm from England so im biased😂😂

Niffol

The necklace is a glamour. I think she wears it all the time. This wasn't in the books, but it has been hinted at in the books, Glamours usually use gemstones. Sometimes there are instances that feel like maybe another piece of garment. She's like in the 400s. I might be misremembering though. So the scene big reveal was a "hard confirm" for book readers, at least it felt like that for me. The other aspect of the scene is shes so shaken in her faith that she takes off all the bullshit and looks at herself in all her shame and as a "sin" of sorts to R'Hollor.

Niffol

Idk who Sean is, but he spells his name right.

Pam

Someone better say what's wrong with the next episodes when posted before other people do lol as if we don't already know all about them 😆

Petition to ban the hater he be doing too much

GreetswithJudgement

I actually agree with Sean but if you guys don’t, just block him and stop replying to him. Y’all causing your own headaches 😀

Mitch

Sean is goated LFG.

Ana

Sean can be annoying sometimes but he is funny. Definitely shouldn't be banned. Sometimes the comments need a little spice

Sean Carroll

Cheers lads, like I’ve said I’m never going to try and be a dick to anyone on purpose unless they come at me first. I will continue to explain my issues with the episodes the way I have been and if people want to tell me to get a life they can continue to do so, it really doesn’t bother me in the slightest.

Nikita

Most of what you pointed out in terms of inconsistency/timing etc I would agree with, BUT I think there is room for pretty plausible arguments to be made to some of your points. Jon: Leaving him out after killing him made no sense if they were trying to hide the fact that they did it but I don't think it was their plan to hide it from the other Night's Watchmen since they never agreed with Jon's plan of bringing the Wildlings in in the first place and they'd get over it fast. We've seen them do funerals for others in that courtyard so most likely they left him there to let everyone know in the morning and do the funeral. Theon and Sansa: I believe how others pointed out, adrenaline can do a lot in a life or death situation and there is lots of evidence of it in real life. Yeah they'd die of hypothermia if they had to stay out for longer but Brienne comes to the rescue. Even though her coming to the rescue seems too convenient, she was nearby and would most likely hear the hounds and Bolton men chasing someone and assumed it was Sansa. Dorne: Dorne is a shitshow for sure. I don't have much to say to defend that plot. My guess was that Trystane boarded a different ship from Myrcella's and Jaime's and a bit after Ellaria and the Sand Snakes were watching her leave from the dock. What I don't get is how Jaime didn't turn the boat around and go back to take revenge right away if she died so early on in their journey. I don't even know...I don't understand the timing of those events at all. Meereen & Dany: If enough people turned against her, setting ships on fire would be pretty easy I believe, even if they are guarded. I don't think her army outnumbered Meereenese people and a lot of her soldiers died during the mutiny too so it's likely there were holes in their defense. Dothraki circling Dany is not that important to me. I think they did it for show because they're very ostentatious in most of what they do and also because she looks like a pretty strange find to them (not a regular looking woman). When Dany told the Khal about being Drogo's wife, I think it clicked in him that she is telling the truth because 1. she speaks dothraki which is probably not that common and 2. more than likely everyone in the Dothraki knew of the silver haired wife of one of their Khal's since it's a pretty rare occurrence and word would've traveled about their story. Melisandre: Yes, she's in the tub in the other season without her necklace but during that scene she tells Stannis' wife of all the magical potions she uses. I think her glamour is done by a potion, her necklace is just what strengthens her powers or serves another purpose. I don't know if D&D said the necklace was her youth glamour tool but won't be surprised if they did lol. In any case, I think the point of the scene is just her show of faithlessness and weariness so she undoes every magical spell. I don't think this is her ritual every night, I think this was the only night she decided to look like her true self due to the way she was feeling. I'm surprised you didn't criticize Arya's storyline because that was my least favorite xD I think people love season 6 because they got so worn out by all the injustice in the show that at that point they didn't care if things made sense they just wanted to feel a win for once.

Sean Carroll

An opinion is too much nowadays?

Sean Carroll

Don’t bring my GOAT Erwin into this haha

studiogek

Please read our message earlier

Sean Carroll

Spice is so important in life Ana 😉

a_daichi

Blocking will just be the easiest for those who find its ruining the experience for them.

a_daichi

Ah think my comment got deleted about blocking. Didn't think it was that bad but no worries. Maybe I didn't word it well. Everyone should do what's best for them to enjoy their experience interacting with others on here 👍🏾

a_daichi

Time to watch and enjoy S6!!! 😤

a_daichi

Brig, please never stop doing the Melisandre

Lydia

Hopefully this is the start of a redemption arc. Sean maybe start convo with “hi, how are you, why do you like seasons 5-8?” 😂😂

Sean Carroll

Maddie V: I still don’t agree regarding Thorne, he must have known that the wildlings would be angry given Jon gave them their safety, there is a few thousand of them compared to less then 100 nightswatchmen, he put the whole nights watch in danger. I can understand adrenaline kicking in however I just don’t see the feasibility as I assume they’ve been running for hours at this stage. The battle is over (at least one-two hours long), adrenaline doesn’t last more then an hour I believe so adding in the effects of the icy water makes very little sense in my eyes Also the breaking bad example isn’t a good one as the twins and Mike being there at the same time makes sense. If I remember correctly, Mike was doing work on a big in Walter’s house and walked back to his car, the twins were after Walter so pulled up to his house in a car. It’s certainly not outside the realms of possibility compared to brienne finding Sansa in the vastness of the northern country.

Sean Carroll

Yes I’ve always been here praising seasons 1-4 but my hater side has awoken and now I am the season 5-8 hater

Kesendo

Bro is like the beast titan fighting solo with rocks vs the whole community 💀💀

Sean Carroll

Season 6 is an overrated season with many writing errors. It is an overhyped season due to its final two episodes which have issues in themselves

GreetswithJudgement

🤣 😂 no way you compared his ass to him! On point! lol

Euphemia Isobel

If you don't like peoples comments you can genuinely just block them and never see them... complaining about them is pointless

Vik Mar

Stop moving to my girl fatipapi Sean 😂 (For the oversmart ones this a joke)

Nepenthe

I gotta agree and disagree brother. I probably hate the inconsistent character behaviour and cringy dialogue as much as you, but we still have yet to see any show or movie top the insane set pieces later this season (you know what I'm referring to but I cant spoil...). I think that alone makes this season deserving of overall praise. I'm right with you on completely hating seasons 7 and 8 though, not much to redeem those.

Mads

Thorne must have thought the wildlings won’t find out, caus if no one tells the wildlings, and they kill jons good friends, maybe they wouldn’t find out for a long time. We don’t know how long they were running, but let’s say an hour? If it’s only like 25-28 degrees F ish, there can still be snow on the ground but it’s not thaaat cold to get hypothermia. And the morning stannis went to fight the boltens, things were melting so we can assume it was getting a bit warmer out. And Theon and Sansa can’t run that fast that far in an hour, plus Brianne has a horse. It wasn’t like Brianne was in a different town/area than Sansa. They were basically in the same vicinity. And who knows, after Brianne was with Stannis, she probably started noticing that a bunch of Bolten men and dogs were running around so she could have been just following them from a distance

redpgps345

brienne killed stannis lol she wasn’t gonna let that opportunity pass

ScreenWise

Hey bro, i respect ur opinion. And completely salute u for sharing it. However, it is JUST ur opinion. Ur on every post nit picking every possible thing abt the show. Listen im not the biggest fan of 5-8 either. Apart from some episodes. But im not gonna flood every uploads comment section with comments designed to just turn people off of the show. Am i crazy or is that just a little weird. Like ur night time satisfaction comes from ruining peoples thoughts on a show……idk but its just seems a little over the top. Like share u opinion, cool. Not knocking u for that. Or the content of your opinion but u when u make a clear and deliberate effort to affect others genuine enjoyment, thats when it’s a little weird. To each their own, but id probably be talking to a therapist if my idea of a good time is coming into a reaction channels comment section just to be the guys that shits on everyone else who may be blissfully really enjoying the show. Sorry for the long message but based on some of your earlier comments long messages don’t bother you.

ScreenWise

I commented once on a lower discussion with u in this thread. That was related to something different. What i want to address here is what i think others have been trying to get across to you. It seems like your brain works entirely on logic and fact. And i respect that. Thats a great and common way to view and analyze things. The majority here probably dont care good or bad what you have to say abt the show. And likewise, if i commented, that feeling from everyone would probably be the same towards any comments of mine. I think where people are getting upset at you and calling for you to be banned is because (and the reply above me addressed this as well) it appears as tho nobody can enjoy the show on your watch. You come in her to kill enjoyment and establish fact. I dont think theyd care too much if you dropped that complaint comment and left it at that. Its the 40-50 other comments on other threads where u always have to get the last word. U always have to be right. And your willing to argue until the sun comes. Or until somebody that was enjoying the show now hates it and despises it with u. The comment above me addressed this and i find it funny that that is the only comment that you chose not to reply to. And you seem to be pretty insistent that “oh its just because i voicing my complaints ab the show”. Well no, its clearly not that. Me and multiple others have stated that its not your complaints that are frustrating and upsetting other but its the brash and rude with which you go about presenting and defending them. It costs nothing to be nice and respectful to everyone. It costs nothing to let people experience and enjoy things in their own way. It costs nothing to say nothing and let people think for themselves. So if i could say one thing, its that id ask you to just be a little bit more humble and understanding with your opinions. Just because you believe something or think a certain way doesn’t mean you have to beat and force that viewpoint down others throats.

Mr. John Kagurabachi

I’m in another community where I’ve seen Sean’s comments. He’s hella opinionated there too and has strong controversial arguments with commenters all the time. I think what he says does sometimes ruin the vibe for reactors/fans tbh. But IMO he never crosses the line. He’s just a passionate dude with a fixation for the shows 👍 (My line being personal insults, etc)

Sean Carroll

She’s my girl VIK Mar. look at her defending me in the comments. True wifey

Mr. John Kagurabachi

Tbh Sean is kinda a goat to get so much hate and still comment. Bro is embracing the opposite of an echo chamber. That’s real af 💯

ScreenWise

And im saying this as a person that agrees with your takes bro😂 the best analogy i could give it, is some of these people in the comment section are still kids that believe santa is real. And instead of letting them just continue their blissful childlike-ignorance. Your the guy that comes in and spills the santa beans for them as soon as you walk in the door. Its like…..bro….come on….let the kids believe in santa for a few more years. They’ll figure it out themselves. But don’t crush hearts just for shits and gigs ya know?

Amna

Amna

You're kind of too out of pocket to block

vally

I never thought I would cause such turmoil, I just asked!!! lol 😭 I’m also not proud that I lost my composure but I’m not taking it back since it’s genuinely my opinion. For me he’s just a vibe killer. But I decided it to block him again and 10 other users too. Making myself the comments section nice and healthy even at the expense on missing out on some discussion or opinion.

TheSauceGuy

It deserves its praise and its criticism haha. From what I can remember, most of the issues I had with season 6 were things they did to push the plot forward, while season 5 was events not making sense.

This fandom is so toxic I can’t 🤣🤣💀💀

Dante

"No One"

Dante

"Bran will be the last Stark" Geks completely forgetting Rickon exists.

Jv1300

bruh it’s not that deep we all know the writing is not as great in the later seasons. Let everyone enjoy the great moments that still happen

Sean Carroll

My comments are not intending to take away peoples enjoyment, I am simply putting forth my opinion and discussing that with people who want to discuss it. If you love everything got good for you, I have problems with the show which I will highlight each episode that I see fit.

Sean Carroll

Spectacle is great when it makes sense, I promise you when we get to those final two episodes I will likely be the only one criticising them as people are in love with those two episodes

SirCatelot

They just kind of forgot

Cannon Andrus

This is way more toxic than sean has ever been. Be better.

lola

The ONLY reaction video I don’t comment on and all hell breaks loose. What happened? All I’ve surmised is that everyone wants Sean banned… what did he do now that he hasn’t done already??? 😭💀

lola

All time cookage is incoming… I truly, truly cannot wait for the 9.9s! LFGGGGGGGGG!

nymeria

these people don’t know how to scroll or ignore how you let sean’s opinions that he’s regurgitated so many times ruin the experience for u 😂

lola

the hashtag… ur on the wrong side of history 😭

Meri Gjelaj

The use of “regurgitated” here really made me lol

lola

You know… I actually complained about the negative nancys on last seasons reactions and Sean is definitely the loudest one but he’s not the only one. At this point, his opinions hold no weight because it’s just straight hating. Nothing he has said has been conducive to a civil discussion. He can continue with his arguments. I don’t think anyone takes him seriously anyways!

Maria

He’s just trying to do better😉because he basically got scolded like a child by the High Sparrow😂

Julia

From my understanding, the necklace is more a tool that can be used for whatever Melisandre needs. Instead of focusing her energy on the glamour effect 24/7, she uses the necklace. I feel like having her remove the necklace is her taking a look at her true self, vulnerable and naked. She has lost confidence in herself and maybe faith in her God.

lola

no wayyyy 😭💀

Lydia

100%

Lydia

You didn’t say anything wrong, it’s this comment section. Let’s stay in the haikyu one where it’s safer 😭

Euphemia Isobel

Saw a YouTube drop hoping it means we get 2 soon 🙏

Ben Holmes

🤞🏼 for the next sode

Sean Carroll

Lola: I wouldn’t say I’m just “straight hating”, I have actually put forth some genuine issues with season 5 and first ep of season 6, the people who disagree with me tell me to get a life because they have no counter point and it’s an easy way to get likes on their comment. Some people are able to counterpoint me and therefore a discussion begins. And some people actually agree with me but we are not popular in this community.

Mitch

Canon himself said he looks forward to reading Sean’s comments and criticisms 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️. Incompetence should not be rewarded with blind loyalty.

SEAN IS ALLOWED TO HAVE HIS CRITICISMS

Shadow

And people can criticize how he criticizes. But blocking is better

DietCocaine

😭😭 you had to block him

smif

as a rare commenter, the community constantly warring in the comment section is so hilarious, whether it be which show we watching vs imploding over sean 💀 never could have imagined this back in aot times, need a whole separate popcorn just for all this chaos 😂

Shadow

My experience since📈 Like I’m all for criticism and I got a LOT for these last 4 seasons but I’m not pissing in everyone’s cereal over it. I’ll make my own comment and let people enjoy it. He would add a response (imo usually repetitive and “rage baity”) to every one of mine and half the other comments. Shtick got old fast

Brent Kilgore

I didnt know the comment sections had such deep lore

Sean Carroll

Probably because aot is so GOATED that everyone agrees on it. Game of thrones… not so much

Shadow

Should just be a live voice channel like in discord🫡

Maria

If the comment is so terrible, why didn’t you delete it?

lola

I’d actually pay an extra juicy tier for that

lola

PLS

Maria

I wish we could dm in here, since not everyone is on discord. Another community I’m in has the chat open which can be useful but it does get a little chaotic

Honestly I’d be so down for a GC… I’m on discord but it’s not the same. I wish we could have one on patreon.

Cannon Andrus

What’s wrong with the discord?

Shadow

Dang someone “cleaning” out the comment sections…🫢 faith militant? I ain’t even go hard

Jaqen H'ghar

A man is late to the party it seems.

NINJA SWORD

a_daichi

haikyu gang fr 🫶🏾

Alex

It might just be me but, discord is overwhelming

Teri M

OMG you're so predictable

Teri M

I don't know that he needs to be blocked but the Geks should ignore him and form their own opinions of this season. All this guy does is whine

Mzuka

Sucks you've not done Histories and Lore cause that would pay off big this season. It would answer a lot of questions you'll have and make some things you'll see more meaningful and exciting, and just generally improve the watching experience.

Lydia

♥️♥️♥️

lola

Nothing particularly wrong… it serves its purpose but it can get overwhelming and it sorta feels clicky. If you’re new to the chat, rarely people answer your questions or comments.

Safia

Other Patreon accounts have community chats, so basically a big group chat. I hope they get one soon.

Anna J

I excpected 6x2 to be up by now, WHERE IS IT I'M HAVING A WITHDRAWAL CRISIS

Safia

I can’t believe this Sean guy is getting obliterated for having an opinion. If there was ever a space to discuss plot holes or inconsistencies in a show, it would be in a community similar to this one. If you disagree, just ignore it.😭

Sean Carroll

An irritating opinion is still an opinion

DietCocaine

opinion opinion, opinion. OPINION!

Safia

Leo- That is definitely valid then, I’d only seen a handful of his comments. People are allowed to have a favourite season, regardless of how bad you think it is. Forcing everyone to see/agree with your take is immature.

Safia

Genuinely delaying making my dinner💀

darist

I baked cookies and am delaying eating them 😩

Meri Gjelaj

What if you guys dropped 6x2 right now🤭

Anna J

No joke, I made dinner and it went cold while I was waiting and now I have cold dinner and no 6x2 reaction

lola

I need 6x2 like NOWWWWWW!!

lola

It’s crack at this point

lola

Yeah a handful that you’ve seen is not enough to understand just how deep the lore goes 😭

Meri Gjelaj

Watch them post closer to midnight LOL

Dante

Where's 6x2. Let's go!

emma.bean

Sav

Happy Birthday to you!

Nat Brojeni

She can’t die! I feel like she wants to see her true self cause she’s been around for so long! That there’s a reason for her to be around and she’s lost to what that reason is.

Matt Haloostock

I can't stand Ellaria Sand's character in the latter half of the show. Her killing her lovers brother, who is also her prince, bc Oberyn died in a fight he volunteered for is just insanity. In the books she pushed for peace and doesn't want anymore blood to be shed for a choice Oberyn made himself. Also, Prince Doran doesn't get killed in the books and has plans cooking up to get revenge for Elia Martell. Too bad the showrunners didn't feel like including that. Dorne had so much potential.

DerekSniper30

23:03 McKay and Jack have read Way of Kings?!?!?!

Blackeyedlily

The Dorne storyline in the television show is awful. In the books it is a fan favorite! What the show did to Dorne and Sansa’s stories was when I first had serious issues with how the story was being adapted. All I can say is if you have a general enjoyment of this overall story, you should read the books, because they are so much better!

Blackeyedlily

Yes! And Ellaria Sand is the character in the books who is urging against the continuation of a cycle of revenge. The danger of revenge is one of the many themes that the book series explores. Unfortunately, Dave and Dan never seemed to understand many of the themes that are foundational to this story.

Matt Haloostock

I watched season 1-5 before I started reading the books. I was mind blown at some of the details D&D decided to leave out. Like Prince Doran's plotting and Sansa learning how to play the game better from Littlefinger.

Ashley

Ok somebody had to have seen certain things ! Someone predicted a plot that I didn’t see anybody else predict ever EVER before it happened on the show. Just sayn

Blackeyedlily

A big part of Melisandre’s story is that she is a religious fanatic. And as a fanatic she justifies the terrible things she has done because she sees them in service of her god’s plans. There are other religious fanatics in the story as well. The current High Septon, the High Sparrow is another one. Committing atrocities in the name of your beliefs is another idea explored in ASOIAF. At this point in time Melisandre he is having a crisis of faith.

Jenny D

Interesting predictions. When I first saw this episode when it aired I was pretty shocked by Melisandre's true form. I actually liked this season. I know this is where it goes off from the books, but I thought this season was fairly good. Arya's ARC is so interesting. I do feel bad for her when she's blind because she wants to learn from Jaquen, but she can't forget who she is

Anthony Castillo

This show fucked up Dorne so bad it hurts :( They completely cut Doran’s other two children out of the story entirely, really disappointing

LuvStarburst

I could never feel bad for cercei but Rip to her daughter who was innocent by all rights.

parALICEis

not to ruin the moment but sansa and theon walking through water in that weather and keeping on the wet clothes how did they not immediately freeze to death

parALICEis

Zipzzty

I forgot how crazy of a run sean had in the season 5-8 Comments run 😭😭

Piksel Valorant

It hits so much harder seeing Sansa say the same vows to Brienne as Catelyn did. The way that she states her vows in such a raw, imperfect way makes it much more charming. Especially considering her age, experience with nobility, and all the hell she's been through 🙌

Piksel Valorant

Brienne's face looks like she could see Catelyn in Sansa :Sadge:

Elijah

lmao there wasn't a two year wait for any season until the final season bro
