Also just fyi we had a technical difficulty in the beginning of the episode so after the first minute and a half we had to rewind and restart lol

seeing the geks give season 1 9.5/10 is insane considering it's the weakest season by far i woudn't be surprised if they give season 2 and 3 9.9/10 back to back

All the questions and theories is making me want to rewatch ahead because I can fully remember certain things but then I know I’m getting some things wrong 😫 but then being confused even though I’ve seen it makes the rewatch really fun imo

I actually really hate romance in movies specifically (some are fine) but I don’t completely mind it in anime. I agree with Cannon. Would have loved a little bit of romance in AoT

I left a comment on one of the previous episodes about Ulrich trying to kill kid Helge and seeing it as a baby hitler situation and I just want to clarify that I didn’t mean it as a justification from a moral standpoint it rather an explanation of what was probably going through his head when he did it. I absolutely agree that he’s a terrible person, it’s just that you can see why in his state of mind he thought he was doing something good. At the end of the day it’s a sign of him being a well-written villain in the show since he’s one who wholeheartedly believes that he’s justified in his evil acts. Thanks for the videos and I’m happy to see you guys getting into the show so much and looking forward to more to come!

what I love about this show are the paradoxes that come with time. there is no clear start or beginning, everything will happen exactly like it all has happened before forever.

Yep, the rewatch value on this show is ... a flat circle lol. The 8 rates are probably only compared to the other 'better'/more favored episodes in the show itself. I thought that's how all IMDb rates worked? Good observations & discussion, I do recall s2 being epic even if I don't remember it all atm, but I think that's the point, you're not supposed to remember everything in shows like this, because it's so complex and that's where the rewatchability thrives. I'm literally watching getting just as excited about plot twists and reveals as the first time, those are my fav kinna shows. The ones you remember as epic but can't recall every detail except while watching it.

I go out of my way to not comment any clarifications with this show because I genuinely don’t remember when they are revealed, since s1-2-3 have so many revisits and things I think it’s best to just say nothing

I dont know if you guys have mentioned this but what I found a really interesting scene is when Ulrich confronts Helge for the first time in the nursing home and Helge starts freaking out and starts saying "it's him". Imagine waking up and seeing the random dude who tried to murder you 66 years ago.

S2 LETSSS GOOO- to Brig‘s Point: in my opinion DARK is for sure a Series u can rewatch. Yes - u know whats Happening BUT its similar to AOT…u catch other hints, some Talks between certain people suddenly make more Sense and so on. BUT i def agree to this: watching it with people u don‘t know about DARK is Even more enjoyable 😂😂😂 s2 (and ofc s3) are going to be CRAZYYY. i Need Ur reactions Right now

It seems like you guys didnt pick up on the reveal that all the bunkers is the same room in 1953 (chalk) 1986 (chair and wallpaper) 2019 (emtpy) and 2052 (pictures on wall)

Geks, the reason Jonas goes 66 years ahead is explained lile 2 scenes before it happens. The chair enhances the energy released when the passage is opened. Jonas was in the room when the chair existed, Helge wasnt so he only went 33 forward.

No spoilers but you guys dont need to worry about the end. The show ended fantastically and stuck the landing and its not all for nothing.

Helge's Memory is triggered by Ulrich waking him up and all his repressed trauma coming to the surface because Ulrich looks exactly like he did the day he bashed Helge with the stone.

Highly recommend rewatching the show after each season. It will be a different experiemce knowing s1, then s2, then s3 twists. They will all recontextualize s1 differently.

Hot take: my favorite character of first season is Ulrich. Not because I like like, but cus he evokes strong emotions. For example, even 7-8 years later what I remember the most was how I despised him for affair with Hannah or how shocked I was when he travel back in 1953

Guys please pay some attention to the live action part of your content too. The proportion is so heavily skewed towards anime that LA almost feels like a side gig sometimes. I am exclusively subscribed to the early access LA tier and although I love the reactions, to be honest I don't really think it has been really satisfactory. The drops are not only sporadic but seldom too. And this week there has only been a solitary upload on this side while you guys not only drop multiple reactions for anime shows but you keep on adding more of them too. I guess there are 5 anime shows running concurrently now to one over here and this is very disproportionate and actually unfair. Please, please try to strike some balance between both. I request you. I hope you guys understand where I am coming from.
