KrispyKenny

MEW1023

YESSSSSS MORE ONE PIECE. FEED MY ADDICTION WHILE THE ANIME IS ON HIATUS

Scarlet

Whoa!!! Thank you!

Grae

Zipzzty

LET GO U GUYS BLESSED US FR

kuza

thank you 🙌🙌🙌

Zipzzty

MAN THE NEXT ARC I NEED THE REACTIONS ALREADY 😭🙏🙏🙏 It’s GOING TO BE PEAK

Dani G

The writing really improves. Just wait! It just keeps getting better. ❤️

Gunder

Holy shit I’m actually about to crash out every time Brig and especially mckay open their mouth just absolute nonsense constantly I swear mckay has 3 lines “am I on drugs” “what is happening” and “im so confused” and then to top it all off Carter is in the middle of saying some really good stuff in the outro and Brig just completely cuts him off. Like guys I have really liked you in most other series but this one is just unbearable

Frozzen Edge

ok cannon how can you be drinking the worst monster ever made, it literally tastes like a bad medicine

kuza

love how carters accepting the cartoony aspect of one piece

Frozzen Edge

also love your one piece reaction guys, thank you very much

Zipzzty

Carter cooked at the end 56:00

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

Have you watched their Naruto reactions? Everyone except Brig and Mckay is nitpicking every little thing about the show. If anything, those two are the most real out of the group so don't hate them for having realistic questions and opinions this far in a show. I'm sure their opinion will change in the future

Gunder

Yes I’ve watched every Naruto video and it’s not even close to the same thing. Carter or cannon or jack don’t sit there and ask “am I on drugs” every 5 minutes and just constantly say how confused they are. The fact you’re even in here is ironic because McKay and brig are the Naruto fans on the couch and you are commenting 30 times every Naruto upload so there’s clearly a common denominator

Laundry

McKay 🐐

Nes

All the geks are goated but McKay’s pretty unbearable in these one piece videos

LoneCourier21

Hell yes! Please keep this up after GoT ends 🙏

Laundry

I’d be surprised if he’s not actually liking it by the time they reach ep 100

Nes

Bro thats an all time classic what do you mean😂😂

Nes

Ya it’s pretty bad

Ari

@BeautyWillSaveTheWorld Lol what? Do you hear yourself? cannon and carter are the only not anime fans here so if they are nitpicking on naruto but not on OP it says a lot and that's what's most realistic here

Dreamknight942

“Don’t you think? Roger” Hyyyyyyype. Also the laboon mini arc is so cute and lots of lore.

KrispyKenny

lmao, at the end of that 1x3 Dandadan reaction Brig had a lil ragebait comment about how it's better than One Piece. i think they just got burnt out from all the comments about early naruto being bad idk. oh well

Ari

Yaaaaay I'm so happy 😊

Ernesto Blanco

You actually did another one piece marathon! Thank you guys!

StandedJosh

No way people are hyped for the next arc... It's gonna be rough.

Hansen

W Drops

Vol

what are u guys talking about? he's enjoying it just fine

Vol

You've gotta be trolling... they're having the most normal and expected reactions that every other one piece fan has had??

KrispyKenny

@ Ari you should probably @ the person you're talking to, got confused for a sec. it's sad that Patreon doesnt have a 2nd-3rd Order Reply function

Clover

luffy: “the one piece is somewhere ahead!!!” carter: “ok bud you’re not even close” me: 💀💀💀 in 1122 episodes

Hansen

yeah… they’re approaching the first long arc and that shit slow fr

greyxwaren

ahhh knocked reverse mountain in one go lets gooo! so this arc is literally why i can't stand people who hate on one piece because you can tell they never watched it from the lore in these 3 episodes. their takes are usually along the lines of "one piece is repetitive" (trying to argue the reason the show is long) but how can it be repetitive if every arc is in a different place, with different people dealing with different problems. like last arc we were exploring a legendary town, now we got sucked into a giant whale with a sad backstory who wants to knock down a giant mountain/waterslide. every arc is literally an new adventure, which is why one piece fans always say we're caught up but it's never enough or it feels short. some haters even say that one piece should've ended way earlier, but how could you have that sentiment after experiencing this, there's no way for it feel satisfactory if it doesn't take it's time within this journey. it'd feel rushed and half assed imo (hell look what happened to aot and jjk) ANYWAYS congrats on wrapping up your first saga 10 more to go!

Mauricio.

It’s always the same. The never ending battle between One piece and Naruto. You can have your preferences, but that doesnt mean you need to drag the other one to make yours look better. I like Naruto, but One piece is my all time favorite, the storytelling, the world building, the lore oh boy the lore, and the conections that Oda was able to portrait trough the years it’s mind blowing to me. As a die hard One piece fan, I would never talk sh*t about Naruto. Enjoy both shows and just let Goda and One piece cook💕.

greyxwaren

"is he the pirate we've been waiting for" COOKKK

Clover

ppl saying one piece shldve ended earlier wouldn’t even know how to enjoy this masterpiece in the first place 😭 such a shame, too bad for them 🤡 even tho im caught up i can NEVER get enough of OP

Laundry

I didn’t say he doesn’t like it

Zess

God this is the best easily. The peak of the channel right here, and we're only in the beginning.

Zess

Alabasta saga is great though?

kaan

Music at 53:03 that Carter loves is called “To the Grand Line”. It’s a goated One Piece ost. Also, great job Jack for compiling the Reverse Mountain arc like this.

greyxwaren

the moment someone says that i immediately stop arguing with them because i just know they never watched an episode in their life. like give me an example of a cutoff point where we could've reached the final island without seeing. give me an arc that shouldn't have existed or was unnecessary

Gunder

Hopefully you’re not talking to me because I didn’t say anything about Naruto, Naruto used to be my favorite show until this rewatch with the geks I’m just saying brig and McKay are just so annoying in these videos

A.G

What? The alabasta Saga is amazing

Zess

Why make it about parasocial whos your favorite gek wars? Lol just enjoy it man, it ain't that deep. Different levels of enjoyment is all you're seeing, and that's completely fine.

Dani G

Oda could make you feel for a blade of grass. Not ashamed to admit this episode had me crying over a whale.

Clover

miss wednesday and mr 9 first appearance haha i still love those names like no other XD theyre so addictive to hear and say

Murasaki

@Zess Next one is not Alabasta bruh, it’s WP I don’t like that one either

Zess

Hell yeah, enjoy the ride

SeCo D. Raw

thanks for the drop just a friendly reminder :D try to keep the timeline in the back of your mind, just to put things into perspective/context further down the line and make certain things easier to understand for example, Roger died 22 years ago, Luffy was born 17 years ago :D Laboon pirate group where active 50 years ago, so around 28 years before roger died also there are sometimes little details and hints in inconspicuous dialogue keep an eye out and enjoy the little breadcrumbs from Oda :D also no, I am not expecting them to get everything on the fist watch through, not even the second one, thats just how it is and supposed to be so keep it up and thanks for the drops, really enjoying your enjoyment

Murasaki

Bruh just let them have their own theory and predictions on Roger Luffy

Zess

That's why I said saga lol because someone mentioned the first long arc. WP aint long at all, the only long one is the one I mentioned, which is a fantastic arc and saga. Some arcs before it straight up made me cry lol shit is good.

Zess

GoT has been done lol

Nope

You don't have to say this type of things you know. They'll figure everything out themselves. I honestly think you should delete your comment because it's a bit hindsight and might ruin their enjoyement. They can't catch everything on the first watch yes so don't try to make them catch it.

Clover

my tiny ahh brain can never remember the timeline despite multiple rewatches so i had to write everything down on a notebook instead 😂 so yea its fine even if they dont catch it first time round

Zipzzty

One Piece Has Peak Osts fr

kaan

Since it is getting close, I recommend watching episodes 68, 69. It adapts manga cover stories which are cannon. Those episodes setup relationships between characters that are major to this day.

Gunder

That’s my whole point it’s almost hard to enjoy these videos when there’s constantly some brain dead commentary by mckay mixed in with Carter and cannons good commentary and then Carter is saying some great stuff in the outro and just gets cut off by brig it’s just too many videos in a row now

Mauricio.

No, it’s not intended to anyone. It was simply to put my toughts out there.

Zipzzty

@ttchoppa WP has great moments

Blake

yea hes a bit negative to be honest but hopefully it grows on him

Ari

@KrispyKenny that's right, done!

Vol

how is it braindead? you're on your 27th watch expecting people to react a specific way on their first watch.

marcdkun19

hope you upload frequently and with more episodes each time. anime is on hiatus now and will be back April 2025. Hopefully by then you caught up with the anime hehehe..

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

I would love that as well, but come on, it's just completely unrealistic given the number of episodes they need to watch. With a show this long, spending 2-3 years watching it is understandable and realistic.

greyxwaren

i know yall don't have mods for patreon so im just gonna drop a suggestion for yall to reference back to in terms of drops (aside from the next 2 mini arcs and assuming you'll be skipping episodes 68-69) - 78-82 - 83-86 - 87-91 NEXT ARC - 92-95 - 96-97, 100-101 - 103-106 - 107-110 - 111-115 - 116-119 - 120-124 - 125-130 and that should wrap up the second saga! just a suggestion on how to group the episodes for each upload.

Zess

I think you're taking it too seriously and being harsh about it. It almost sounds like you're taking it personally even. This is my favorite anime and I have that same passion about it as the rest of ya. But writing what you wrote the way you did is just kind of a dickhead thing to do. Do you think if they read what you wrote that they will become more positive towards the show? You're only going to make it worse for them, like how certain naruto fans made Carter feel like shit for voicing his opinion. You're doing the same exact thing they did, and actually doing the opposite of what you think you're doing. No one is going to be shamed and insulted into liking something lol

marcdkun19

wishful thinking hehehe

Keziah

36:26 jack: 😏👀👀

SeCo D. Raw

to "ttchoppa"s and "Nope"s point: 1. bruh, I just gave them a simple timeline of what they know so far 2. no I am not deleting it, no it doesn't spoiler or ruin anything I supportet/looked after many one piece watch throughs, some active, some passive and I always noticed the same thing people enjoyed the journey a LOT more if they vaguely knew what to keep an eye out for, something like "keep the timeline in mind", nothing specific just so they don't get lost in the sauce and can start theorycrafting along the way on their own it can get very convoluted/confusing very quickly especially when they are watching multiple shows at the same time please try to understand the difference and where my intentions come from try imagining a parent teaching his kid how to ride a bicycle and pretending to hold him up so he won't fall down until the kid realizes that he was riding the bike on his own all along and to "Clover": that's totally normal lol, there is a reason why the one piece wiki is so popular :D

LilyLiv

Yayyy and Laboon :D

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

@Tyler It seems you are resorting to personal attacks and labeling others' commentary as "braindead" whenever it fails to align with your narrative. This behavior is quite disheartening and undermines meaningful discourse. Engaging in such tactics not only reflects poorly on you but also detracts from the quality of the conversation and we should all prioritise avoiding such language

dotsae

One piece are one of my favorites drops rn, I get so excited when it drops, lets go Geks, i love you guys so much

E L

Hey let them criticize

kuza

fr

Zipzzty

That would be the best but it’s not realistic they have to watch other things and have lives aswell

Mr.Flakes3

Its crazy how one piece can give you some backstory on a whale and make you feel for it. I feel like Oda could give me the backstory on like a piece of paper or some random object you wouldn't even question and I would still want to know more some how.

Mr.Flakes3

One Piece is one of those shows where I put it off for so long because people kept telling me to watch it and spoiling some of it for me. But sometime last year I finally sat down and started watching it I think I got fully caught up in both Manga and Anime in about 4-5 months (One Pace for some things) and even though I knew some moments were going to happen I didn't know how or why and Oda just draws you in with the story and the way things happen. I never really felt spoiled on anything in the show. I never thought this would be something I watched due to how long it was but I still want so much more!!!!

Max Demian

one piece cracks me up xD

Demian Pocius

React to kanata no astra goated show

Murasaki

Yes the lore episode, my fav! I feel every time there is a lore episode, the One Piece world opened up. I feel excited imagining other strong pirate crews also sailing cross the grand line through other routes.

Mahti

Thank you Jack perfect upload!

Mahti

My favourite followed by Naruto and Dark

Mahti

He's a bit negative but that's fine no need to fake it, I'm sure hell come around eventually

Mahti

Let's not give the guys hate for their reactions, it certainly won't make the experience any more enjoyable for them. One Piece is my favourite MANGA in the world together with Berserk, but the ANIME definitely has some flaws in it, and it's alright to point them out. Sure they're being a bit too nitpicky sometimes, but I feel like it's just a clap back for all the hate Naruto has received and all the comment's comparing OP to Naruto saying how OP is better in whatever aspect. Can we stop it with the comparisons and accept that both are very different but fantastic stories. I can see that Brig is at least trying to find positives in OP and I appreciate that. I'm sure they'll come around sooner than later

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

Omg the last sentence cooks 🔥🔥 ( even tho I don't really know more than you guys, I'm just a little bit ahead of you xd)

kobehoneylyn

Such a pity you guys didn't watch little buggy adventures. I started to like him there. Anyway, love these reactions!

Michael H

Brig has a point about some One Piece fans who try to rationalize every goofy moment to make them more realistic than they are. Nah. It’s Tom and Jerry. Don’t think too hard on it.

Zipzzty

Which Arc are u on

JojoJack

In One Piece Live Action Season Two, Old Man Crocus will be played by the same actor that played Blackfish Tully in GoT.

Brig Andrus

The double standards here are crazy Tyler 😂. But it’s alright I’m sorry you’re upset. I actually think one piece has been great. Some of the stuff is way goofier than I thought it’d be but I’m getting used to it!

Marcos

I recommend buying a one piece globe plush. https://www.makeship.com/products/globe-plush. It’s spoiler free and it shows you how their is 4 oceans, calm belt and grand line. That way you can look at it to see a bit how the world looks like

Marcos

Also the way the log pose works is that it navigates you in the grand line and moves you from island to island until you reach the last island in the grand line. The log pose find another island when it’s magnetically attracted to it. This episode explained everything too fast

jed d'angelo

People say Long Ring Long Land arc shouldnt exist even though its literally one of the most important and foreshadowing arcs of the entire show. Like just cause its not ur favorite arc doesnt mean it isnt important😂 One Piece haters have never actually watched the show and its always so easy to tell.

Jack

👏🏻

Mr. John Kagurabachi

The pace they are going rn is 6 years to finish! If they drop 6 episodes a week, it’ll take them 4 years (which I’m happy with).

Mr. John Kagurabachi

I can’t believe episode 68, 69 is considered not canon. It is a must watch IMO. It is showed in the manga and is important set-up

Mr. John Kagurabachi

I don’t think he’ll fw it by episode 100 tbh but that’s chill. In one year he’ll be a mega fan for sure 😈

Jack

Ahhh yeeah

Jack

Alabasta Saga is goated

UnluckyN

It's considered mixed cannon/filler. I doubt they'll skip it

ahmad

The hate is so undeserved lol

Nonos

Brig dont let these comments affect your enjoyment of one piece. Your reactions have been valid and especially fun from a Naruto fan’s perspective

JojoJack

If they like Koby, they should watch episode 68 & 69

StandedJosh

The guys are gonna have a rough time with LG especially I think DI and the actual Alabasta arc are where the saga really picks up imo

Lydia

They can react however they want!

Kaibur

wait im seriously confused. so in 57 mins we just watched 5 episodes? and only the first 2 were filler? how did everything connect in the same story tho, without those first 2 filler episodes wouldnt they have just basically spawned into the whale plotline out of nowhere? this showed entering the grandline which sounds like a major point of the story so how can that be filler? first time watching so genuinely confused if anyone can clarify

Dylan Roy

its been awhile since I read this early part of the series but if I am recalling correctly the important info in episodes 54 and 55 are like two pages in the manga and the rest of the episode is really filler. I am not sure why it's not consider mixed cannon and filler but I'm glad jack made them watch it.

JojoJack

Never seen One Pace, so seeing that scene with exposition dialogue being sped up and having one filler character that stands with the rest of the Straw Hats erased from existence was really weird.

JojoJack

I won’t believe Usopp is McKay’s favorite unless he says it for the umpteen time.

JojoJack

@Brig, Tbh, for me becuz i grew up with the Big 3, both manga and anime, this Pirate vs Ninja shit sucks hard. Luffy and Naruto are two peas in a pod. Both are goofy af, value friendships, and are stubbornly goal/dream-oriented, so-much so that their superior mentor figures are rooting for them to accomplish their dreams. The only differences between them are the environments they grew up, Luffy never was an outcast like Naruto was, even if Luffy was outcasted by others, he really wouldn’t give a frick what they think of him. On the other hand, Naruto had the Nine Tails sealed into him. The Nine Tails, which is cause of the Hidden Leaf Village being almost destroyed, made Naruto be shunned by others and become a li’l menace in the village. To viewers, that made Naruto more grounded and relatable, while Luffy’s aspirations and optimism is what makes him grounded and relatable. Now Naruto does have a beast in him, but don’t rule out Luffy, he still has that dog in him.

JojoJack

I think the names are influenced by the code-names in Reservoir Dogs. Oda mentioned that Sanji’s appearance was based of Steve Buscemi’s character in Reservior Dogs. So yeah, he must a big fan of Tarantino’s films.

McKay Carter

I do agree that I’ve been pretty hard on OP, but I’ve been enjoying it so far!

Michael H

Doing god’s work, you are. Or Jack’s work, I guess lol

Michael H

@Jed That is some wild glaze for LRLL lol. But I do agree with your other points.

Hector

I'm not even done with this reaction yet, but the white beard take at 20:40 had me on the floor 😭😭😭😭

Charlie

So are we sticking with One Pace from this point forward? Or will we switch back and forth depending on the arc? This was my first time seeing One Pace and it was pretty good. I loved how quickly we got through this arc.

greyxwaren

why do people keep saying it’s sped up? i don’t think they were watching one pace (one pace removes title cards and transitions and the episode they watched had both) but even in the original episode nami IS speaking quickly bcs of the danger of the sea kings. she tells everyone to hurry up and get the ship out of the calm belt and when no one was doing anything she explained quickly

Vol

the one pace episode covered up until the first half of 62 i believe, so when they switched back to the original, they started from the mid credits of 62 bc there's no point rewatching the first half.

Vol

would've been weirder if the filler character was just standing there for us to see with no context

JojoJack

@greyxwaren, But wasn’t Apis, the filler character of the filler arc, standing along with the Straw Hats when Nami was dumping exposition about the Calm Belt? Edit: I checked the actual episode. Apis was literally there with the crew.

greyxwaren

@Jed LRLL to me is a silly arc that i don’t mind since it wasn’t that long in the manga, the anime just chose to stretch it out so it overstayed its welcome. is it important? debatable as of right now in terms of world building and lore. but i don’t think it should not exist or should be removed

Vol

yup LG will be hell to get through, especially bc WP before it gets a little wonky, i hope they use one pace for it... DI & alabasta itself are good

Mr. John Kagurabachi

The magic of one piece is it being extremely goofy and then randomly serious!

Nick K

With regards to thinking of it seriously or cartoony, I always think of it like a fairy tale. Some things may be exaggerated as if you were reading a fable, kind of like Usopp's stories, but the overall story when things are more serious is when details and specifics matter. To me One Piece is like a fable epic, similar to Homer's Odyssey.

Vict0

I am not sure if this was all One Pace, but i'm all for it!I dropped One piece a few times before starting over with One Pace and it made the journey much more enjoyable.

Mr. John Kagurabachi

Idk why people are hating on Brigs and McKays reactions, they are funny af to me 😭

JojoJack

@Vol, it would’ve been funny if they watched Nami killed the filler villain when they were riding up on RM with no context.

JojoJack

I can see two sides to this: one side is they’re friends who known each other more than all of us and are just joshing around with each other while watching and reacting and that makes the patreons act like parasocial guards in trying to make their watch experience fresh. The other side is like if they’re watching shippuden instead and someone else was there, who at least knows about some stuff about Naruto, and just keep asking, “wheres madara? Wheres sage mode? etc.” for shits and giggles

C2-H5-OH

Kinda crazy tbh, even if they drop 10 eps a week, 6 months = 24 weeks, which means we will still only be at 300-310. With One Pace, maybe till 360. Ain't no way they're catching up in 6 months

Karlsefni

@Brig Andrus, the double standard here from Nes & Tyler is outrageous 😭 considering they would defend Carter from strong criticisms regarding his reactions to og Naruto - which they were completely right in doing so because no one should criticize Carter for his authentic reaction yet when you & Mckay have some mild, not even strong criticisms regarding one piece - all of you sudden in there eyes you guys are apparently “unbearable” - seems like it’s just a case of favoritism so don’t get discouraged by these comments cause we always want your guys authentic reactions, nothing fake - I would understand there frustration if your guys criticisms weren’t reasonable & you & Mckay were just intentionally hating but the majority of your criticisms are completely fair plus you guys have flat out stated that your enjoying one piece so that doesn’t seem to be the case

Zess

I think there were 2 regular episodes, with the rest being one pace. I saw 2 mid cards, which is a sign of it being a regular episode.

Sandi uchiha

they’re the type of anime fans I don’t like😖 just let people have their opinions and reactions. Its fine. They don’t have to love everything.

N P

I will say that sometimes it comes across as them just having a bad attitude about certain things. Like, Carter and Cannon for instance aren't really that into Naruto just yet, but they still manage to keep an open mind and give credit where credit is due. But for the One Piece reactions, Brig and Mckay can sometimes seem like they're just dismissive of it just because they're Naruto fans. It really is the worst when they bring up future stuff though, like "Is this Gear 2?" "is this Whitebeard?" "Marineford"?. With all that said I don't really care, I still think these reactions are really fun despite some criticisms I might have.

Spoons

Please watch 68-69. Some really important stuff in there. Use One Pace if ya want.

Sandi uchiha

I love how stressed cannon gets😂 luffy be stressing him😫😫😫😫😫

Sandi uchiha

Then don’t watch. I’m sorry Geks, that the anime community can be toxic. Some of these people need to relax, it’s not that deep. Just ignore the weirdos

JojoJack

One thing I’ll give One Pace some praise is the subtitle fonts are the same that Kaizoku-Fansubs use, so its nostalgic for me.

Andrew Lynch

Aight so theoretically how much would I need to pay for 2 eps a day lmao

EmlovesOP

things definitely get flushed out later

Niffol

One Piece's Universe rules are nonsense. It WANTS to make sense, but for the sake of story or whatever Oda refuses to enforce the rules. Its the most frustrating part of the series.

N P

I think this is just untrue, the One Piece world is vast enough to where "almost" anything can happen, but for the most part, the rules and stakes are pretty firmly set.

jrnoodles

Thanks Geks! Laboon is a loyal whale. Waiting 50 years. My heart can't handle it.

Micah Seer

Geez early One Piece cooks harder than I remember

Nes

@Karlsefni im sorry i dont like it when a reactor constantly asks what’s going on and if they are on drugs

Alec Raatz

Why are we only getting 4 Naruto episodes of week if one piece is getting more than that?

Big Brother 2

Brig imo isnt being that bad. He's being reasonably critical, Mckay on the otherhand...

Karlsefni

since there using one pace - the actual time they spend watching both shows is around the same - it will be around 1 hour & 20 minutes for the Naruto reaction that drops later tonight & they spent around an hour & a half reacting to one piece this week (excluding pre/post discussions of course) so it’s not as big of a difference as you think

studiogek

Its the same amount in episode time.

jed d'angelo

Its really funny watching the early stuff knowing how insane the world building is. Right now its so small compared to what's to come. Very similar to how HxH set itself up. One Piece has to be #1 in world building.

Alec Raatz

Thank you boys. Appreciate the time yall take to watch these shows

kkcat

One Piece world building feels like how old maps look before we got a full map of the world. Like anything can be out there, stuff that breaks the understanding of current science because they haven't seen the whole world yet.

Mr. John Kagurabachi

Because it’ll take One Piece 6 years to finish at 4 episodes a week. Naruto will take 2 years at the same rate.

Mr. John Kagurabachi

Please do at least 6 episodes weekly for OP. That’s 312 episodes a year, so around 4 years to catch up 🙏

Pace

Now imagine how good it gets when we get to the deeper layers of this story!

kkcat

Labooon 😭😭😭 I love him so much. I also absolutely love the mad geography of One Piece so much.

KrispyKenny

Brig to be fair you do constantly spoil, even though it's all G cause you guys don't care that much. But imagine as a viewer if, during Naruto, Jack was constantly going like "Where Madara" "is this sage mode" "Pain Arc?" like you guys go "marineford" "whitebeard" "gear 2" etc. Not asking for much just chill all in due time

Yoshi

This is gonna be a tough 6 months but at least guys are posting these bangers

sil 🧸ྀི

chef kiss upload :') im so happy you've finally reached the grand line woooo the laboon part always makes me shed a few tears haha he's so loyal and now he'll be waiting for luffy to come and fight him again omg!! ALSO you've met mr 9 and miss wednesday now LOTS OF COOL STUFF IN THESE EPISODES

Juu

bro was going on about that broken rudder had me dying when he said "THANK YOU" 😂😂😂

AV

I'm going to need Brig and McKay to stop shouting out spoilers I.e. future characters/arc names.

KrispyKenny

didn't we already get 200 episodes of og Naruto before a single episode of OP? or am i trippin

greyxwaren

lmao where are you even getting these numbers. i hope you’re not just subtracting all episodes of OP without removing fillers and counting their usage of one pace in future arcs. 5+ years has me hollering bcs what 🤣 also they’re already doing 6 episodes a week. i’m suggesting they do 4 episodes an upload instead of 2 like regular animes

Mr. John Kagurabachi

And with One Pace it’ll still take them 4.4 years to catch up if they do 4 episodes a week.

Crystal

OMG THIS IS THE START OF PEAKKKK‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ IM FREAKING OUT HEREE

Crystal

Luffy be stressing all of us frr😭

cece

this is where the lore gets DEEP!

brog.

carter cultured for appreciating the crocus running gag

MegMegMegg

When did Mckay do it? Pretty sure only Brig has done it.

DonDuh103

thank you for another goat drop never watched one pace ive ony watched the normal episodes but that was pretty good.

Big Brother 2

Yeah no I just finished watching this... I was initially referring to their critiques, but I get what you (and other people) mean now. Idk what the hell's going through Brig's mind.

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

I don't know if we are watching same reactions but both of them said multiple times that they already knew that they will like this show and that they enjoy it; Brig even bought Luffys hat. Mckay is just passive type and doesn't comment very often ( he makes like 2 comments per reaction even on Naruto, the show he loves the most). They are loving OP way more than Jack, Cannon and Carter are loving Naruto ( if they even love it lmao) and that's fine! We pay them to have their genuine reactions and I know that sometimes it hurts to watch someone hating on your favourite moment but it's not that deep, I'm sure they will love and appreciate both stories even more in the future ( I didn't watch OP until now and I got spoiled for death of one character. I watched that episode without watching anything before that and it made me cry so I am sure that that great of an emotional impact provided with context will hit anyone!)

E L

How can they not laugh at that 😂

Mahti

If they made a third channel with the same price and only One Piece 9+ episodes a week I'd be willing to pay the same price for it as cinema/anime gek combined

Harrison Veal

Read the manga it's peak. We'll still be getting new chapters

greyxwaren

i ran calculations 🤓☝️ and i did if they used one pace and if they stuck to 2 episodes each upload and its roughly gonna take them a year and a half give or take to finish wano if they don’t rely on one pace. which is why i was surprised you mentioning 4-5 years bcs ain’t not way

rr bhdz

when they said that one piece isn't as tightly written as other shows my heart sank.

Zess

Requesting them to stop soft spoiling is a fair critique to make. It was the insults from the guy and basically requesting them to react how they want to react is just rude and unfair. If watching people watch a show you like gets someone that angry, they 100% need to reevaluate how they handle things lol

Zess

@Nes What you wrote as an issue isn't even bad lol he said the same thing about Dandadan, which is another wacky, crazy, and goofy show. There will be several arcs in this show that can have someone make that joke and it makes complete sense. This story is crazy lol let them react how they want. Y'all want legitimate, not fake reactions and then get mad at them for doing just that. You can't pick and choose when and how you want that, you either want it or you don't.

N P

Here's hoping we can get to Whisky Peak this Saturday...🙏

Yoshi

My bro put a promise thread on my finger to stick with anime 😭

Justin gratton

The 4kids version made laboon an iceberg

Mr. John Kagurabachi

You have to be trolling. It takes 2 years alone to reach episode 500s 🤨 Do you mean using One Pace for everything? But even then, that’s not right.

AV

They gonna learn

Marcos

Also the log pose ussop had since he was a kid in his pocket, a gift from his dad hahah

Marcos

I don’t think so since I’m seeing that they feel bad that one piece gets more episodes than Naruto weekly

N P

I don't think that makes much sense, but we'll see ig

Murasaki

I’m also not bothered by them at all even Brig’s spoiling…

Mon_d_lu

yohohoho laboon

Nashi

It isn't in the way they meant it. Oda has changed a lot of stuff, the whole power system messed the whole thing up

kobehoneylyn

will there be an upload today?

Vol

I don't think there will be triple uploads if ever until we're past these next two sagas. That's when they'll really want to keep watching.

Karlsefni

Well that’s cause OnePiece & Bleach were outvoted by Naruto for the Big three they should start with & overtime the geks just eventually decided to watch one piece aswell - so we’re lucky that the geks are watching both at once tbh

Mahti

I don't know why Naruto fans are complaining as they are still getting way more screen time with a shorter anime. Bring back the 3 drops/week please please

Mahti

@greyxwaren I'd like to see your calculations as they make zero sense. There will be over 1200 episodes by the time they are caught up, 100 of which are filler. I doubt they're skipping all the fillers, but assuming they do there's still 1037 episodes to watch. Assuming they do 4 episodes/week it would take 1037/(4x52) = 4.985 years to get caught up and this is an optimistic calculation. They are not using One Pace all the way trough, and even if they did that doesn't change the amount of cannon episodes existing. Do you want it to take forever or what is your agenda in making fake calculations?

Mahti

also we don't even know for sure if the boys want to keep running this channel for 5 more years, they have 5 reactors and life happens. Would be very sad if they didn't finish the anime. Same goes for us patrons, many of us probably wont be here anymore in 5 years

A

i’ll preface this by saying that i’ve been watching one piece for literally 20 years now, so i understand that the pacing of stories generally has changed radically. between the MCU type movies with cuts so fast you can’t even tell what’s happening, the existence of tiktok and similar media that entail such short bursts of information, and now contemporary anime that emphasize similarly rapid cuts and intense action animation sometimes to the detriment of substance, i think our collective attention spans are cooked in such a way that can make one piece feel excruciating at times. but like with Tarkovsky or Bergman films or anything older and substantial, i think one piece is worth sitting with. you can let your mind fill in the tension or the humor of an overlong scene and the experience can be richer for it. i think that, regardless, there will be some parts worth skipping over, and you’ll figure out what those are as you watch it. but really a lot of the challenge is just modulating our attention spans to meet one piece where it’s at, and not expecting it to be like JJK or something. anyway, this is all just to register a really deep skepticism of One Pace—i learned with later episodes to skip the first six or seven minutes of recap, etc., but i think it might be better to just really try to sit with it and take it in even when it’s slow. it’s an adventure you don’t want to rush. it’s also why while i get all the jokes about 1000 episodes, i find that after watching it this long i wish i could have another 20 years of it, and 1000 episodes or 2000 may never feel like enough (i’m being a bit hyperbolic but you get what i’m saying). anyway, so stoked that y’all are watching it, i’ve been waiting for you to start it for what feels like years maybe lol (whenever the AoT watch started) and i’m also really excited to see you watch Evangelion possibly (not sure if i heard correctly that that’s the move). it’s possibly one of the greatest works of art ever, and it’s worth reading a little Freud or Jung or Lacan along the way or after, to really draw out its profundity. thanks for another great watch guys, these truly get me through my weeks, just as much as the manga :)

Stanislas Desseaux

they’re gonna learn one day about why this show is so cartoonish 🫣🫣

Mauricio.

One piece premiered 25 years ago! Happy 25th anniversary to One piece! This show is something really special to me and I can’t put into words how excited I am for your journey Geks! The One piece is real!!

JojoJack

That One Piece Fan Letter special brought damn tears to my eyes, like One Piece always does.

N P

It was absolutely incredible, I wish the boys were far along enough to where they could react to it. Maybe someday. I feel like there's never been a better time to be a OP fan.

EmlovesOP

here to comment one piece filler is still amazing we had a filler ep today it's one of my favorite ep of all time

kobehoneylyn

Jack, you should watch the One piece fan letter.

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

I think that both OP and Naruto should get more uploads a week because they are long shows and they will get the best experience with binging. Sadly, currently they're unable to post more because they are watching a lot of other things on the side but I hope that one day they will post more episodes a week and if not then I hope that they atleast binge some peak arcs

Marcos

Legit 2nd best one piece episode ever and it was filler!!!

Ninjinzo

not that surprising tbh everyone knows whitebeard

Laundry

Not that big of a deal

Mitch

Not really filler because it’s supervised and approved by oda plus it doesn’t break any cannon events if anything it improves upon them.

Pudding

Tbh I did hear that Oda took inspiration from Tom&Jerry and Looney Tunes as well as some other western animations for some parts of One Piece, so comparing the two is actually totally justifiable! It's meant to be goofy sometimes, it’s the author’s intention, so you really just have to embrace it lol

Icchi

Nah there’s no One Pace version, he can’t do it otherwise

Icchi

Y’all being a lil too critical. Yes Brig, you can justify situations and accept the cartoon aspects at the same time, that’s the point of One Piece. Luffy slingshotted to the ship they were just running at 💀 but to y’all he wasn’t facing the ship, ok. Luffy has his whole upper body frame restricted for execution, and has never stretched while being restricted before (Buggy’s ropes), but to y’all 💀 he should’ve did the impossible in that moment. That’s the thing with ANY anime, you can be critical of anything and make it make no sense. Just gotta follow the rules of the verse and put sense behind it. And remember this is an old weekly anime… these scenes are dragged out.

Keiji

It's so hard to say anything about Luffy's abilities without spoiling.😅

parALICEis

fun fact that i noticed. In the laboon ep. Nami is wearing a shirt in the end with the text "MODE" wich means "fashion" in german XD
