Just realized that tendo’s va (red hair) is todo from jjk

Dakota

Tendou(lanky red hair guy)! Imo, if Oikawa is the ultimate villain for people in this show, Tendou is definitely up there too lol. Hoo boy season 3 is a ride gentlemen, strap in. Also, just to reiterate, Ushiwaka is the nickname for Ushijima Wakatoshi combining Ushi and Waka from his name. That being said, the name "Ushiwaka" is the name of an ancient warrior from Japan. So it's like a double meaning.

Clover

I love how cannon is so concerned for hinata spending energy biking to school but dw its a good warmup and exercise for him XD plus let me tell you, the interval for the bus (not even busES) in karumai (the area where haikyuu locations were inspired by) is really unpredictable. I remember visiting that specific haikyuu town and there was no one on the bus except me and my friend for almost the entire journey. And also, before we got on the bus at the train station to get there, we had to go FIND and TALK to the bus driver personally and tell him we wanted to get there. We also had to double check if the bus was even coming or not with the locals jic it didnt show up when we were leaving the town 😂 So yea, might be better for hinata to rely on his good ol bicycle instead

SlamboHamburg

I love Tendo! He's a weird, weird man

gyu

“If you want to beat Wakatoshi-kun, you’re gonna have to beat me first. Ya know?” This line is just badass and cool😭

Kite

I've been waiting all day it's time

Nico

Tendou grew on me a lot LMAO. Hes such a fun one.

Kite

A while back I said something about this show having moments like the "This is Rocket League" jstn goal. This is the season of moments like that, just insane levels of hype.

Moon

"Who is Benkei?" Well, if you guys remember, Ushijima's nickname is Ushiwaka, which is the childhood nickname of a legendary japanese warrior. Interestingly, Benkei was that same warrior's right hand man! The reason Hinata thought to himself that the player from Shiratorizawa (Leon) has to have the name Benkei is because apparently, he looks pretty similar to the old sketches of the actual Benkei, AND also because Ushiwaka and Benkei's names usually come as a pair, so since Ushijima has the nickname Ushiwaka, Hinata nicknamed the player on his own. And judging from how one of their own team (the redhead) was speculating that Hinata must have given that nickname to his teammate, it seems like this isn't the first time that people have referred to Leon as Benkei HAHA! Also!! To clarify your confusion about the score at 50:15 onwards: I guarantee it's correct haha! They didn't make a typo or a mistake in the anime (unless the footage y'all are showing us is different from what you're watching). The point that Daichi scored after their synchronised attack did go to Karasuno. It's just that when they started the second set, they switched sides on the court, so now Karasuno's score is depicted on the left side of the yellow flipcard that says 2 and Shiratorizawa's score is on the right side, which is the opposite of the previous set. So it's right, because the scoreboard says 1-0 (Karasuno-Shirtorizawa)!

"I wonder if he has any fans" YES THAT'S ME HELLO I'M A HUGE FAN OF TENDOU SATORI THE REDHEAD HE'S LITERALLY MY SPIRIT ANIMAL. The way I screeched in indignation when y'all said he's like Hisoka cause ain't no way my boy is being compared to a serial killer with a kink for fighting strong people JKBHBWHJb Shiratorizawa is my personal second favourite team haha! I love their dynamic, especially when Tendou is involved. He's very goofy and his silly antics make me laugh a lot. I also really love Ushijima, esp his deadpan attitude to almost everything (jokes, non-jokes, normal talk). I can't wait for the next drop because ohhh boy there's gonna be a shit ton of exciting moments to come! Btw the manga for Haikyuu is completed! It was concluded sometime in 2020, which is insane considering how popular it still is 4 years later. The fans have really looked forward to the rest of the series being animated, and ofc, so have I. Furudate's ending for Haikyuu is probably one of the most satisfying, heartwarming endings to a manga ever ngl. At least, that's what I've heard from those who finished reading it. I'm still saving it so that I don't rush myself into an early death craving more content HAHA!

Alex

Just watched the movie on Crunchyroll! I loved it! 🥹

Stanley Labissiere

I have to say, it’s refreshing seeing reviewers completely 180 on their opinions of the senpais and seeing people give Tanaka his flowers

Brittany (Ultraanimegirl4)

Gotta rewatch the movie later tonight I'm so excited. Me and some friends went to it in theatres in full cosplay! It'll be nice to see it without the Kageyama bangs in my face this time 😆

Mim

I think these are the first reactors I’ve seen to figure out Ushijima is a lefty so quickly but then again I’ve only watched like two others

bebe

damn it man, i just finished watching the movie like 2 times already, i just cant wait for the boys to see the upcoming hype in s3,s4 and the movie.

scar

lmao hisoka and oikawa are the same voice actor

crissoopshii

guys i know this has been said but i really hope u guys will consider watching the intro!! this intro is imo the best of haikyuu, spoiler free, and truly gets you hyped up for the match. i believe that watching it now and not later is best BECAUSE in the intro you are made to feel part of karasuno, looking up at shiratorizawa, an insurmountable mountain. you are fighting alongside the boys, giving your blood sweat and tears. it's absolutely incredible and still gives me chills to this day. please consider!!

bebe

seriously you need to watch s3 OP just for the hype. there is no spoiler at all.

MissJodles

I know waiting weekly for S3 especially is gonna be PAIN. I just want to binge it all watching these reactions 😭

Kit

as a chicagoan, the loyola chicago reference absolutely killed me 💀

falconnn

Ayaulym🇰🇿

Jenny D

KatyRose

a_daichi

I can’t wait for you guys to get to the movie 😭 it was fun!

BubblePriest

That movie had epic moments, can't wait for the reactions.

questta

Hello, a question for Geks, would you watch the Movie right after Season 4? Or there might be a pause and it'd need to be figured out?

questta

Since Geks might finish Season 3 next week, here's something as a reminder: 1) Speicial ending and credit scene after ending of S3 episode 10. 2) Credit credit scene after S3 episode 10 found in youtube (2 min+ ), here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Utjg2EmYqE8 3) Before entering Season 4, two MUST watched OVAs: OVA 4 "Land v.s. Air" and OVA 5 "The path of the ball". Nice weekend! :)

Clover

i’m so ready for this weeks’ epic 4 eps 🫣

lola

Y’all… the movie was too good 😭 it made me so emotional… I truly cannot wait for the content that’s coming!!

DontFailArtSchoolEren

This show has way more hype moments than anything they ever watched so far, AoT, GoT, Star Wars, LoTR, JJK, Demon Slayer....volleyball slamming the ground too crazy!

Budats

Maybe somebody pointed this out already, but the 1st point of the 2nd set was won by Karasuno. The score board was switched too when they switched courts. 😅

Luna Meow

Thing I just noticed . Seijoh bonus scene when the 3rdyears part from the team at the ramen shop. It's 3 crows flying away to mirror our 3, 3rd years we lose at a loss.Small things like that make me love this anime.

na

YOOO lanky tall redhead Tendo is the man! I guarantee at least 3 of you really like him

corLeonis

Hi!!! Movie recommendation: Children who chase lost voices, by Makoto Shinkai (the director of Your Name). It is a great journey and the worldbuilding is insane, and every detail in the story is very important. Carter mentioned in Your Name that he loves movies that you can talk a lot about... this is one of them. Thank you if you read this!!!
