I mean Marta’s parents are still Ulrich and Katarina, so that is the same dna that Jonas carries. It would be different if one of her parents or both were different but that stays the same, they still look the same so Jonas is still related

Season 3 will raise lots of questions every episode, you might be frustrated at times thinking they will go unanswered, but by the end everything makes sense and ties up beautifully. The one tip I could give you without spoiling anything is: don't overthink things! This season will make you try to overthink everything. That's not the way.

A) because I can b) because “could” doesn’t mean “definitely” and so unless we’re told explicitly it’s safe to assume that hasn’t changed since every family is still the same in terms of parents and children. Good day :)

I don't see why you guys, Brig in particular find it hard to believe that Jonas would be having difficulty piecing it together. He doesn't get to see what we as a viewer do. He was dropped in a new unfamiliar world by Martha and was told nothing about it. How do you expect him to navigate it in a composed manner and come to the conclusion that Mikkel doesn't go back in the past? The fact that he doesn't exist in this world does not imply that Mikkel won't travel to the past at all since time travel still exists in this world. He doesn't even know about almost any of the differences we get to see in the episode as a viewer. So his demeanor is perfectly reasonable over here in my opinion.

Fun facts: The middle aged and old version of the guy we saw in the beginning are played by father and son. Also, they had to match everything up to fit the mirrior dimension so they printed out everything on the walls etc to be mirrored. Many things had to be changed so they could invert everything afterwards. I just love the attention to detail in this show.

Jonas’ thought process was that since he didn’t exist in this world he must’ve been sent here to stop Mikkel from going back in time. Since he doesn’t exist, it means that is what always happens, it would be very logical for him to think he was brought there for that purpose

Yea I don’t think the Geks picked up on that all. They were so focused on why Jonas wasn’t figuring it out quickly, they completely overlooked the reason he thought he was brought there

Out with the old (Martha Mk I) and in with the new (Martha Mk II). I much prefer this world's Martha. Idk why, but she's much less annoying to me.

My takeaways: Katarina, Magnus and Martha win most improved award in this universe. I guess Ulrich was rly holding them back. Ulrich is still a rat, Mikkel lost half his personality, and even in the inverse universe Bartosz still doesn't get the girl

When i first saw s3 ep 1 and how Jonas was behaving i was also frustrated hahahaha like yes everything is difficult for him after what happened to him but stalking Martha and speaking in riddles is just crazyyyyy 😂😂 i kinda forgot how Literally dark this season started

Jonas saw his mom and he knows Katarina Magnus Mikkel Martha live in his house. But he didn't know that Michael Kahnwald doesn't exist in this world, he can still be Hanna's husband. And it is 4th of November, so Mikkel can go back and become Michael. So it makes sense for him to ask Martha and look for his dad. The things he knew so far didn't exclude Michael not existing. To avoid the confusion, bearded Jonas is the one who escaped apocalypse with Magnus Bartozs Franceska, he is in 1888. Martha that saved Jonas from apocalypse is other world Marta of 2020 who came to other world same time to save Jonas from apocalypse, she takes him to another world and to one year before. Marta we see there is 2019 Martha without forehead scar, she will be the Martha that saves Jonas in one year. 2020 Martha took Jonas to 2019 her world and then went to Jonas's world to 1888 to help middle-aged bearded Jonas. Also notice how bearded Jonas was surprised to see another-world-Martha and didn't know she wasn't his Martha. That is important. It is frustrating to see this world, but just wait, it will deliver. It just feels like show starts from the beginning, but this world will make sense.

Random side note but the year Jonas spent with Claudia was all about time, and after 2x8 you know Claudia lied to him, she said he was going there to save Martha & Hannah, he saved neither so this Jonas in 3x1 is probably all kinds of messed up for multiple reasons
