Omgggg they’re such goats for waiting to react to it for us. I APPRECIATE THIS SOOO MUCH

DAI

Wait what? Didn't expect this lol

Coen

YES this is huge, I'm glad you guys did this

joshua

WWWWW

Jude

Didn't think we were gonna get this but it'll be great to see Cannon and Mckay's reactions!

yio

hype!!! I'm so here for it. I can watch Arcane an endless amount of times~

GreetswithJudgement

I agree with everything you said, Carter. Those are my gripes aswell. Also character motives. Feels off. I hate music montages. And they’ve overdone it. At times I felt I was watching the most epic thing of all time and then next I feel like I’m watching a Disney movie. Still one of the greatest shows of all time!

Aw that’s so cool!! I was sad they wasn’t there🥹 I guess im watching it for the 3rd time

DJ

I think to each their own. I like the music montages; they have a high production value feel. Perhaps a few longer episodes or an extra season would space things out. But I understand they also want to get to the other parts of LoL.

GreetswithJudgement

Personally I have never been a fan of it especially for storytelling purposes. It’s lazy to me I’ve always found it cheesy, however they did it perfectly in the first season. This season I feel like they took everything that made season 1 perfect (literal perfection) and enhanced it this time around thinking it was the cool thing to do. People love it so they were right but it’s just not my cup of tea. But I wish they would have given this particular part or arc another season to allow a fulfilling ending to these awesome characters. I do understand the story isn’t over yet, I just hate that I’m disappointed. This show has been my number one for so long therefore my expectation are a bit higher.

kuza

we getting cannons reaction to dandadan episode also?

Leon

i love the music montages

Lydia

Omg!!! I was wondering if you guys were going to do this THANK YOU and welcome back

pineapplegreg

YES! I was hoping for this!!! 😍

spacexoxo

I hope you guys react to the "Blood, Sweat, and Tears" visual for Ambessa's new League skin before the finale, it's SO good and I think it would be a great appetizer to her glorious end in the series as well. Side note, there hasn't been a single time I've watched the Isha Scene and NOT cried 😭😭😭 it's just so beautiful from the top to bottom.

DontFailArtSchoolEren

Excited to see how all this wraps up each characters story and conclusion and how they are updating and changing things in the LoL game.

Kim 555

Carter you should use Cannon's pc to make a league account just to play the Jinx Fixes Everything minigame that's in league's client menu. It's a first-person Arcane minigame based on the Acts. They only got Act I and Act II minigames available rn. You can be inside the world of Arcane it's cool

Kale

Wait this is so hype I would’ve imagine they couldn’t help but watch it when it came out even if they were busy 😭

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

Question for you guys: have you watched the Blood, Sweat and Tears clip for Ambessa's character in League of Legends? If not, could y'all drop a reaction to it? It's less than 5 mins long.

TheSauceGuy

I was hoping you guys would do this

TheSauceGuy

I'd love it if there wasn't a time skip, but the season would have to be longer than 9 episodes at that point. I wish both seasons 1 and 2 were longer, but the amount they cram into 9 episodes is impressive.

TheSauceGuy

Jinx calling Sevika "Lefty" reminded me of my English teacher from senior year. His last name was Levcowich and everyone called him "Lefty" because his left arm never fully formed below the elbow.

TheSauceGuy

Jack, I think only the enforcers were killed when Warwick entered the prison. The people Jinx freed didn't all die.

Nonos

Let’s go I love rewatching arcane this is perfect

Al Boxley

You guys are real for this

Aozora

What if the reason why Jayce did what he did is because Viktor, from the future, told him to?

Mr. John Kagurabachi

Carter looking at the camera every so often like Jim from the Office smh 😭

Jessica

cried again 👍

Euphemia Isobel

Show makes me cry like a cartoon character

Cynicwound223

Love Cannon and Mckays reactions! Also love the little glances to the camera Carter does when things are about to go down.😂

olivia

when u realize we will never get anymore Arcane again after this saturday 🥲

studiogek

I love the music montages as well, they were one of my very favorite parts of Season 1. In season 2 they are more used to fill in story telling and further the plot rather than highlight a plot point that had been built up. They have too much to show in too little time and everything cant be properly fleshed out with the amount of episodes they have. They are still doing a phenomenal job

GreetswithJudgement

I understand! I still think it’s a great show! I shall give my overall opinion and thoughts after the final act!

Micah Seer

Thank you Carter. I feel so validated because as beautiful and amazing as this season has been, it’s just been slightly off and you said exactly how I’ve felt so far. This story NEEDED 3 seasons because the writing has slightly suffered with there just not being enough time to properly execute everything that season 1 did perfectly. This is still one of my favorite shows of all time and I can’t wait to see how they wrap it up this weekend

Bene

DanDaDan \(^ _ ^ )/

TheSauceGuy

Couldn't Singed have created another beast in the same fashion that he did Warwick? Imagine a Silco beast lol.

emmy

oh no another reason to watch act two for the millionth time… whatever will i do

Ninaly

OMFG THANK YOU. this is why you guys stay on top <3

Lydia

McKay 100x through the episodes: I really love isha Me: 💀💀💀

Saphira

Yesss plzzzzzz

Kale

its honestly so crazy how Warwick's abilities from the game are like the MOST full adapted into the show, we have his ult, q, w, AND his passive all incredibly portrayed. even the in game abilities of jinx and vi are BARELY shown if at all. Warwick following the blood trail is like the most 1to1 of any ability portray in both season 1 and 2 besides maybe jayces ranged q in S1

Mysterious Figure

The name Isha is Hindi, and it means "the one who protects". There are so many amazing parallels between season 1 and 2 to show how love is ever present in the show and with these characters from the beginning to end: In season 1 - the last person Vander gave a hug to, and the first person he gave a hug to in season 2 - is Violet. The last word to come out of Vander's mouth in season 1... and his first in season 2 - is Powder. Vander's children are in his arms and in his words from beginning to end. It's his whole character in and out. The show SHOWS this all over the place in a "show, don't tell" way of telling a story. So much attention to detail wherever you look. So much added meaning either put in between the lines, in context, or in hidden meaning, or in many different juxtapositions of character relationships, parallels, similarities, mirrors... so many things in this show I keep discovering as time goes by. Silco had one very strong quote - "Is there anything more undoing than a daughter?" This quote applies to EVERY major character in the show because all of them are motivated by trying to save their daughters: 1. Ambesa and Mel 2. Singed and his daughter 3. Vander and his daughters Violet and Jinx 4. Violet and Jinx' parents trying to make a better world for their children 5. Lastly Jinx finally understanding Violet and also Silco after she started caring for Isha and in a way being a parent figure to her which completely changed Jinx and her priorities... It's hard to not sympathize with almost all the characters when you understand their point of view, which is a rare thing to see in stories, since you don't see antagonists in stories being this well fleshed out and interconnected with the protagonists. It is almost as if you want to root for everyone at some point. Damn this show is amazing.

I just realized there are some split-diopter shots, that's so sick

Uros Vesic

I agree about the pacing, but I would prefer it being slightly quicker than to prolong it another season just because. I get the music montages, it does the thing for me. It is sad when shows end, but I would take it rather than Riot milking it, as some studios would. One of the reasons they could do such amazing animation and music is because they used money Riot gave them, magnificently. If they had to split it even more, I feel it would not be the same. I fricking love the reaction and comments from ppl who love this show as much as I do. Every comment and feeling is valid. Can't wait for finale.

Mysterious Figure

There is one other interesting semi-parallel in the show between Ambesa's self reliant individualism versus Piltover and Zaun's collectivism. Remember, Piltover and Zaun were once united. So when Ambesa is explaining Noxus' core principles which she obviously embodies herself... 1. Vision, 2. Might, 3. Guile, 4. Sacrifice, ...if we try and look for other characters in the show that also embody these traits: 1. Vision - Caitlyn 2. Might - Violet 3. Guile - Jinx 4. Sacrifice - Isha... ...we are left with one conclusion - united we stand stronger. This is ultimately what we as the audience also want for Piltover and Zaun - to be united - and through these 4, ironically Noxian principles, we see that only united, both characters of Piltover AND Zaun have what it takes to stand up to Ambesa and her desire for conquest and domination. So is the show saying collectivism > individualism?

Mysterious Figure

I hope people noticed in the room with the big hexcore, in every scene with Jayce, Heimerdinger, Ekko, and later with Jayce and Salo... if you look at everyone's breaths, EXCEPT Salo's, their breathing is clearly visible as hot air coming out of their mouth. Salo never breathes visibly as if he either, isn't alive, or isn't warm at all. This somewhat aligns with the scene when Viktor comes out of his "cocoon" and Jayce hugs him and says "you must be cold", and Viktor says "No, I don't think so. I sense a charge. A potential. A recursive impulse. Unpleasant, but no, cold isn't its name." And then in 2x6, right before Jayce shoots a hole through Viktor's chest he says "I won't fail. I swear it!" - it's a call back to season 1, when Viktor asked Jayce to destroy the hexcore after he spread Sky's ashes... In season 1 Viktor asked Jayce to destroy the Hexcore, Jayce didn't want to, Viktor starts coughing and asks Jayce - "Promise me."... Jayce says - "Okay. Okay. I promise." Then Viktor said - "We lost ourselves, lost our dream. In the pursuit of great, we failed to do good. We have to make it right. So, in season 2, Jayce is actually fulfilling THAT promise to his friend. Maybe we actually lost the real Viktor when Jinx fired that rocket, and what we've been seeing all throughout season 2 was some shadow that the hexcore brought back up from the void as the closest thing to Jayce's real best friend... How sad would that be? It would be as if we've relived his death a second time while not even being aware he actually died the first time Jinx fired the rocket. It would repeat AGAIN the same pain with Vander when he died in season 1... and now as it seems that he is going to "die" again... and the same thing is also happening with Isha because she literally IS Powder in everyone's eyes - even Jinxes sees the innocence she's lost in her... so we're losing Powder again too. Why is this show doing this to us... it's too cruel 💀💀

Nonos

Ohh at 1:31:30 did they just show isha getting like a hextec ball or power or whatever they call it from vi’s weapons and putting it in her pocket or something? Didn’t notice that on first watch cool little detail if that’s what happened

Ninaly

I agree with you completely. The music montages depicted things that I feel like are easily represented. For example, Episode 1 has Piltover take over Zaun - if they showed us a whole episode of this, it would have been more messaging of "police brutality" "we live in a society" "wealth gap" etc which we already get massive amounts of. If there isn't more to explore in the theme it will start to feel heavy-handed being shown the same message. I assume when they time skip and montage that they simply don't have something meaningful enough to say at that point, which, fair play, just make it look really cool rather than waffle around. The reality is that at two seasons this is already the most expensive animation ever made, and per dollar I have never seen this amount of effort turn into artistry. If the script couldn't be longer, it wasn't because of a lack of love or care. It's going to be ages before we ever see another company invest this much into their lore, and accidentally create peak. I think once this season is over, there will be less debate about whether Arcane is perfect and just appreciation that it's freaking beautiful. Right now it's hard to know that it ends so soon.

Lydia

Yeah she took one from each gauntlet :(

Xyran

Seeing McKay’s reaction is crazy to me. He FELT that.

Cookie

OFC YOU SHOULD ALWAYS DO THIS

Cookie

Even for dandadan I would’ve loved it

Madison

OH LET'S GO

Lydia

ONE MORE DAY

Niffol

BTW jinx gun is the same gun. she modified it. the hole caitlyn put through it is now the spot she puts her hex gemstones.

Niffol

I'm only down with Zaun because I like playing warwick and viktor. I play a way more respectable heimerdonger though. But to trigger all the league players I will say this. My Yummi mastery is lvl 27. Watch everyone lose their minds now.

Niffol

viktor was speaking after he was shot. his whole monologuue about singed being right about his commune. If sky's consciousness is still in there. big IG. but if it is her, then his mind might still be in the "ether" idk what else to call it lol

TJ Frangie

I agree with Carter. As much as I think the show is amazing, there are slight pacing issues so far. Just things that I cant believe. With Vi and Jinx just being able to casually talk with each other. I loved episodes 1-3 of this season, and episode 4. 5 and 6 with the vander, jinx, vi stuff has me slightly less convinced. And Caitlyn. I am hoping episodes 7, 8, and 9 wrap it well enough to have me understand why they rushed through some of the plot points. Since the show was supposed to be 5 seasons, I can feel the part where it feels like seasons of character development happened off screen. Not that I dont believe it can happen, but we werent shown it. Only what we saw in the first 3 episodes. And I bet the ending is incredible. But I think they needed payoffs in this act to happen for the 3rd act and had to rush through some of the content. Which is unfortunate because Arcane season 1 was also one of my top things I have seen. Hoping tomorrow is incredible. Love the reactions.

Jathen M Nakamura

The Show was never going to be 5 seasons, Riot made it clear that there was only going to be two before season 1 even aired. Maybe Netflix wanted 5 or something, but we've always know it was 2.

yio

I finally got round to seeing your reaction to episode 6 (right before Act 3). Seeing everyone quiet with teary eyes, especially Carter, choked me up so bad. You guys are great reactors.

Vol

this was just 2 hours of mckay repeating how much he loves isha & me bracing for the worst

Cookie

thank you

Ameth

I'm still holding out hope that Jayce is corrupted by something, like its feeding Jayce bad vibes

Ana

I don't understand the confusion I've been seeing from people concerning how quick Jinx and Vi talked to each. The most logical answer is they are SISTERS. They may be beefing but they still love each other at the end of the day. Like I have 2 sisters and I can't stand them sometimes but they can't do anything that bad to where I want them dead. Also we can go deeper and say that Jinx was finally maturing taking care of Isha. She finally understood VI's position in the past. And Vi never wanted Jinx dead. She put up a front to keep Caitlynn at bay. But she would of never went through with it.

ChrisBrah-4

HAHAHAHAHA valid tho, jinx and isha stole the show for everyone

Rocketboy

well he was right to do what he did but it was a super bad timing, he could have waited, told people get out or anything. Even tho he did the right thing, it led to the death of a child, he's at least guilty of that. Bro shattered a family (again). + He's just fixing HIS mistake. He got a child killed because he was a weak man and failed before. The chain of events starts with him.
