Zipzzty

Ur goated

Clover

im so glad i have an off day today, bc damn im overwhelmed by all these drops 😂😮‍💨 a very good problem to have tho

Murasaki

Next week hottest episodes incoming

N P

This outro definitely cooked, can't wait until we get to the real meat of this arc.

ainsley

alabasta is the arc where i finally understood why people love one piece so much. it’s still in my top 3 op arcs, even after being caught up with the anime. EXCITED TO WATCH YOU GUYS REACT!!

kuza

yurrrrr

Murasaki

The Will of D, the 1st mystery introduced, finally! What hooked me the most is the lore, mysteries, world, and the way Oda made everything well connected, it’s just so satisfying. A lot of details are designed for a purpose. Like the name ‘Raftel’ was not randomly called but after 900eps when truth revealed made us viewers tears of joy. It’s a long ride with lows of some episodes and few arcs but the main storyline and theme is very consistent.

DeadLotus

FINALLLYYYYYY MY KING ACE WAS INTRODUCED

DonDuh103

thank yall for the 4 video drop i know yall be busy so i appreciate it. Top 5 Arc coming

Sloth

The grand line is dangerous for PIRATES. Normal people are born there and live there. Being a pirate means the government comes after you and other pirates will come after you as well. Also Sailing around in the grand line is different than just living on an island. You have seen the dangers of sailing in it already. Normal people have to be rich to travel from island to island as they have to pay someone to take them probably. It's not common for these people to leave their islands.

Mahti

Finally they introduced my GOAT and no it's not Ace

DAI

About the name "Roronoa Zoro", we don't have R sound in Japanese, so we pronounce it more like "Lolonoa Zolo". FYI.

Nick K

I'm no expert, but I've always understood it to be L and R are hard to pronounce distinctly in japanese, so the sound is typically somewhere in the middle. This then leads to romanized words often having the L or R swapped for each other when they show up in anime, sometimes perhaps mistakenly but other times seemingly intentionally. When we hear someone say "Luffy" it sounds more Luffy than Ruffy, and when someone says "Zoro" the characters definitely pronounce it more like Zoro than Zolo, but again the L or R aren't as distinctly pronounced as they would be in english. Also in writing this comment I was checking to see if Loguetown was a misromanization of Roguetown (because there's that one very important romanization later haha), but it seems the believed reasoning is that because it's the iconic beginning and end town, it's a play on "logue" from Prologue and Epilogue.

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

Agree, I thought they couldn't pronounce L well so they use R instead, like for Levi, they are saying 'rivai'.

Murasaki

They should be careful from now on as well. Big spoiler hard to avoid. I got partially spoiled even when I wasn’t watching the show, big news in the anime community.

Nick K

You guys keep talking about the Grand Line as if it's a sea of islands where no one can go, but the whole world is a sea of islands. There are uninhabited and inhabited islands all over this world in the same way you would find in any world, but what makes the Grand Line dangerous is the chaos of the sea and the power dynamics that exist within it.

William Wijaya

For every title read starting from now y'all owe me $1: Jack: 0 Cannon: 0 Carter: 0 Mckay: $4 Brig: $3

Toska Water

Zoro's name is actually inspired by a real french pirate named François l'Olonnais.  Also, I don't know if you guys remember, but a warlord bounty freezes once they get their title. Which means Crocodile's bounty could possibly be higher than 80 mil if he was not a warlord.

Toska Water

My favorite pirate finally been introduced 🥺 🔥👊

Ante

World is slowly opening up. Waiting patiently for some of the goats to creep into the story. Next few eps are quite good as well.

Toska Water

Here are the straw hats ages if you're interested... 1. Chopper 15 years 2. Luffy 17 years 3. Usopp 17 years 4. Nami 18 years 5. Sanji 19 years 6. Zoro 19 years Extra Vivi 16 years. Also Zoro is the most loyal strawhat.

Zipzzty

W Fun fact at the end there

jrnoodles

Thanks Geks! I love that Mckay's favorite character is Chopper, after only a few episode of him introduced. Alabasta is here!

Mai

MY GOAT IS COMING

T

HE'S HERE 🔥🔥🔥

Mai

Well, for me PERSONALLY, alabasta arc is one of the most and the beginning of REAL INFO OP. there will be a lot of things happen there. like the other arcs also have some name drops or a bit info drops but for me alabasta has something that important and everybody in OP are important than i thought compare to i watched OP for the first time. hope yall enjoy this arc and the other following arcs. some of people said it will be good at 200+ episodes but for me it started from alabasta until now(actually it is good since the beginning but in terms of the info and more seriousness i think this arc)

JojoJack

Dr. Kureha is Goku’s VA Mr. 2’s VA is Jango’s VA, he also voiced the guy Kurapika didn’t want to kill in the Hunter Exam.

Lydia

THEEEE GOAT is finally here

Ella

my glorious king ace is finally here

Juu

The show is starting to cook. I love baratie, arlong park and Drum Island but were really getting into the MEAT of the show now 😈

Qhoa

W

Chrisiyyi

also to say not all warlords need to be on the same power level fighting wise, they are influential people, thats why the goverment want them under control.

greyxwaren

jack there are actually 35 episodes left of arabasta, episodes 98, 99 and 102 are fillers

Crystal

GAHH ONE PIECE COOKS SO HARDDDD‼️‼️‼️ can i consider this my 8th rewatch even though im indirectly watching it?🧐

Zipzzty

W Lore Drop WILL OF D STILL LIVES ON AND GOL D.ROGER

greyxwaren

i’m posting this here for when and if the geks feel like switching to one pace (even though this arc doesn’t need it at all but if you want to use it i would suggest only for fights) - 93+94/95+96 - 97+100/101+103 - 104+105/106+107 - 108 + OPace 9/ 10+11 - OPace 13+14 / 15+16 - OPace 17+18/ 127+128 - 129+130+131

greyxwaren

for reference episodes 9-18 are from one pace and they cover these episodes that involve fighting: 9 (109-110) 10 (111-112) 11 (113-114) 12 (115-116) 13 (113, 116-118) 14 (118-119) 15 (120-121) 16 (121-122) 17 (123-124) 18 (125-126)

Albdre

So no shippuden this Friday?

Keiji

It’s more like L and R are the same letter in Japanese. The Japanese ら ra sound is somewhere between L and R.

sil 🧸ྀི

oda sensei just knows how to put all the pieces together and when you get to the culmination of a plot it's mind blowing actually i love it so muuuuch alabasta saga is insane and im so happy and excited for you guys to see what's going to happen!!! EEEEE

sil 🧸ྀི

damn i need another 4 episode drop I LOVE THIS SO MUCH lmaoo

Cannon Andrus

Why do I feel like that last comment is a spoiler? Either it’s true or it’s a big misdirect.

Cannon Andrus

I feel like you weren’t understanding what we were saying

Cannon Andrus

This isn’t a jab or anything at the comments section, but sometimes we ask questions that we don’t necessarily want answers to! I totally get it’s hard to know when we’re genuinely asking or when we’re wondering something but don’t want the answer. I’ll personally do a better job of clarifying 😂😂

Lydia

can i join lol

Lydia

same smh

Nick K

Sorry if I misunderstood but the way you guys kept saying that the people living in the grand line must be descendants of pirates implied to me that the majority/whole population of this world exists outside of the grand line, and then pirates or explorers go into it and explore or settle down, rather than civilization already existing within the grand line much in the same way it does outside of it. This isn't a spoiler or anything so just trying to clarify this general concept for this world going forward.

Roks

what i usually do when my friends ask stuff is ill say "idk or i don't remember" they end up getting annoyed from it since some times they actually want to know but in the end its a better experience for them

Marcos

Gol d Roger and monkey d luffy!! What in the heck does the will of D mean 👀

PST3

Why doesn't Jack moderate the One Piece comments section, hasn't he watched the show.

Lydia

Everybody be like McKay 😂😂

Toska Water

Sorry if I made your brain think. It wasn't my intention.

TT1000

So excited to see Bon Clay!

Toska Water

But if you were referring to me revealing Vivi's age, I just thought I might as well add her since this saga is all about Vivi. Sorry if that caused you to overthink things as well.

Murasaki

No way this community needs moderator for comments just to share non spoiler information.

Albdre

Are you sure? Cus until now there is no upload

Nashi

Keep the streamable please. The patreon player is terrible, freezes all the time and you can't choose the video quality so it goes back to 240p out of nowhere all the time. Didn't have any of those problems with streamable and now I can watch it directly on my TV!! Without having to screen play from my phone and watch it with less frames all chopped up

celery

Second this

AV

Am i the only one who hates people hyping up characters we know nothing about at this point in the show? "I love this character." "OMG I hate so and so." Like shut up and let them form their own opinions.

Nick K

Hard agree. There's direct spoilers, and indirect spoilers. This falls into indirect spoilers because it's basically implying how they should feel about certain characters which spoils what kind of experience they'll have with them. You can't go in blind if every time a new character appears that they don't know is important people say some crazy hype stuff

Nick K

nah let em cook

Alex

Brig thinks these villains dissapear. 800 eps later … 😏

corLeonis

Hisashiburi dana.........

Alex

These episodes came out 20 years ago, its pretty difficult not to have some preconception going in

Alex

Delete

greyxwaren

even if these episodes came out 100 years ago, they have no idea about any of these characters THEY don’t have any preconceptions about anything and even if they did (brig and mckay) it’s probably vague with no context, let them form their opinions on them themselves.

kaan

Just for a reminder, there are a couple of filler episodes in Alabasta sneaked in

Clover

nah i was spoiled before starting the show too 🤡

Dale Tucker

my god this player is trash

Maj

This rewatch is actually hitting like crazy, so much stuff I didn't even realise was foreshadowed so early on in the show

Zipzzty

Mugiwara

Frozzen Edge

i know we are not there yet but i suggest ONE PACE for the arc after alabasta because the pace is soo anoying

Christina Laegel

First time I’m gonna agree that One Pace would be good lol

kuza

so much crazy lore in this episode that i forgot happens so early, PEAK

Christina Laegel

I’ve just taken the assumption that every question is rhetorical lol. Besides, I think it’s more fun if you guys just get to experience it blindly. Nothing wrong with being left wondering about stuff for a while 😉

kobehoneylyn

I know episode 102 is a filler, but i really like this episode. Hope you can watch it too.

kuza

bro please no, its literally not even possible for me to watch these streamable patreon videos on anything other than my phone since it buffers every single second in australia

kuza

rs

kuza

yall gotta stop even mentioning things like this

Cemelss

Cant wait to see how everything unfolds for you guys! it would be fun if you would pick a fav devil fruit after finishing an arc or a favorite character that peaked that arc. just some fun games

TrueCrisp

Episode 102 is technically a filler but it contains a piece of information that's kinda important

Mahti

Only the first half of that arc, or more precisely until they're done with the ⚪

Crogadile

it's still filler

Vol

there's a reason that important piece of information's first mention should not be in a filler lol

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

If they do, I hope it means we get an extra episode, otherwise it just feels like a waste. I'm way too eager to see them get to specific arcs to encourage fillers

kobehoneylyn

I don’t think one filler episode can get them that fast to your specific arc.

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

If they have to consider fillers, then it'll get them there one episode faster 😉

kobehoneylyn

sure , but still next or next next year.

TrueCrisp

to this day he remains my least favorite character in all of OP

Bean

Friendly suggestion of Better Call Saul for next live action show

KrispyKenny

Why on earth would you add the zoro thing when you know whats coming smh, huge spoiler

Toska Water

Dude. It's not me that's spoiling anything. All I said was that he's the most loyal Straw Hat, which he has consistently shown since the second episode of One Piece.  1. Saving Luffy when he got kidnapped by a giant bird and carrying him when Luffy was stuck in a cage, even though Zoro could have easily ditched him since Luffy technically blackmailed him to join his crew, but he saves him anyway, which shows when Zoro makes a commitment, he sees it through. 2. Luffy ordering Zoro to go get Nami from Arlong Park even though Zoro didn't want to, but he does it anyway, which shows he'll follow the captain's orders even if he doesn't always agree. 3. When the other Straw Hats get worried if Luffy is in trouble, Zoro would ask, "Did Luffy ask for help?" Which shows that Zoro trusts in Luffy's ability to handle the problem. 4. When Zoro promised Luffy he would never lose a battle again in baratie arc, it was another moment of Zoro declaring his loyalty and commitment to Luffy. He always consistently shows the most respect and faith in Luffy out of all the Straw Hats. It's your comment, "when you know what's coming," that spoils things. You just think about the big moments and overlook all of the minor details that have already defined Zoro as a character.

Chérie

It may be labeled as a filler, but most One Piece ''filler episodes'' are genuinely good and have lore drops sometimes. The only part worth skipping in all of One Piece would be the Long Ring Long Land Arc. There's no saving that arc

TrueCrisp

I 100% agree with you on that,

Sam

I was going to say one piece day then realised Tuesday for you guys and Wednesday for me 😔

JayCnY

"Even their bodies!" 😳😳

Wyvern

Its not supposed to be revealed then though, its supposed to be later. They shouldn't watch 102.

Jesper

when will the next episodes be free to watch for everyone ?

Wyvern

They really tryna get me to pay to upgrade at this point.

Jesper

Yeah its been like 2 weeks since last episode we could watch
