Too many cliffhangers😭

Dio

New background looking awesome!

1999

You guys are uploading too much peak I can’t keep up

SYD

YESS GODDDDD

Vixen

Background is sick

Luke Fox

AIB is way better than squid game and it ain't even close just wait til s2

hayden 💟

dang the background 🔥

Betsy

Love the new backdrop, so cool! It really fits y’all’s brand. Let’s go! You guys aren’t ready for this finale haha

Luke Fox
>>162832414

It doesnt show squid game is better is just shows you have bad taste. You literally dropped AIB right before all the cool stuff happens.

Elle B.

Poor Arisu, getting the world’s worst ass-kicking 😭

Zipzzty

YO THE BACKGROUND LOOKING GOATED

‎

Damn they threw away the gojo figurine😭

Jacob Martinez

The chishiya hate is so forced. All he did was just use these strangers (usagi & arisu) to get the cards. He doesn’t know them personally. Just because they played one game together he’s supposed to be all buddy buddy?

WHY
>>162832414

Definitely not a fair comparison there at the beginning of this video when they haven’t even watched the finale of s1 or seen a tiny bit of s2 of AIB (let alone s2 is fire towards the end, like it builds up gradually to reach its peak), and they’re comparing both seasons of SG to only s1 of AIB. The fact that AIB s1 is not a standalone story based on the manga but only just lay a foundation for s2 as a continuation of the story means that they shouldn’t treat s1 as a standalone show or make these comparisons at such an early stage when they haven’t finished s2 yet.

GreetswithJudgement
>>162834862

😂 that ain’t nothing they didn’t even open my GOATed gift on camera 😭jk But the room looks great! I’m glad they finally got their logo! The Geks are cooking hard!

Rayanh LaNansha
>>162835317

Lol I've seen other reactors hate him in season 1 and then switch up to rank him as their favorite character in season 2, so I don't think it's forced at all. It surprised me the first time I realized people hated him, but some people are just that sensitive about other characters basically mistreating the lead. That's just how it is. I totally agree with you though, on the fact that it makes sense he basically put himself and his own plans first.

Luke Fox
>>162835317

Well to be fair he doesn't really do much to be liked until next season. They hated hated Aguni until this ep too I think they will like Chishiya next season.

Rayanh LaNansha
>>162832414

Personally, I was far more entertained by AIB, but I can see why some would feel that Squid Game is better. Season 2 of AIB for me is far better than Squid Game, but I think it's really a matter of what appeals to you in these types of shows.

farkzzy

W for putting haikyuu on the wall

studiogek
>>162835317

I mean to be fair I said I like him. I’m always getting roped into these comments😂

Merry

The real game will start now😉

Luke Fox
>>162832414

Yeah I mean I understand why some people prefer squid game if they are more into the social message and a more grounded show. In terms of entertainment value and characters though AIB clears. The games in season 2 also beat out the games in squid game.

Rayanh LaNansha

I am now most looking forward to Thursday since 3 of the 6 shows that I'm watching y'all react to, are reaching that exciting turning point: One Piece, Mob Psycho, Alice in Borderland. Can't wait!!

Rayanh LaNansha
>>162835317

hahaha, we know you do Carter. Your takes are usually most aligned to mine, so it's always fun because it feels like I have a voice on the couch.

Luke Fox
>>162836027

Re-watching the show along with them and I think I'm roughly also at around an 8 for the season. Although ep 3 is easy 9-10. Season 2 is definitely better especially with the games. I realized literally all the best games I remembered minus ep 3 is in season 2. S2 is really what cements this show as among my top live action shows

WHY
>>162832414

I would just like to add that AIB carries life lessons and meaningful messages too throughout the show, especially with the games and dialogues in s2. It’s just not so much of a social commentary as SG but the purpose of AIB is not even to give social commentary. The two shows actually have totally different themes and concepts.

GreetswithJudgement
>>162836027

This. I’ll even say I think Squid Game is better but I enjoy AIB more than Squid Game. And I like anything better or more with the Geks since they offer five new insights to things I may have or have not liked!

Betsy

Season 2 is goated! It has two of my favorite games. Can’t wait for you guys to see.

Merry

For me the main character of season 2 is chishiya🤫

Anya

Hmmm🤔 Just missing a Star Destroyer and a Vikings shield back there😃

Anya

Fun fact: The Witch Hunt was originally a 5❤️. They bumped it to a 10❤️ by exploiting Takeru's death. They were aware of their relationship (basically brothers) and of Aguni's temperament. Aguni was perfect to play the guardian of the witch. They expected no survivors. Momoka volunteered to start the game because she couldn't handle earning her visa by killing people. She believed in a better world. She wanted to show the game masters that they are still human and will work together to beat this game. (Which initially ofc didn't happen) Asahi mourned her friend's wasted sacrifice and was going to let everyone die. She only sacrificed herself because of Arisu. In all this despair, Arisu fought for each life and recognized their all the same. The cycle would've continued if it wasn't for Arisu. He managed to reach Aguni and in turn, Aguni sacrificed himself to save him and everyone else. 💔💔

draeonic 🪼

What is the definition of a cliffhanger these days because I don't see a single one here? 😂 We have the setup for the new season and a number of questions that need answering, but no one is in a situation that needs to be resolved immediately for the show to continue...

Anya

Niragi is alive because he fell into the pool. I think they didn't show that for the surprise element and Aguni's epic save.

Anya

Takeru (Mad Hatter): "Everyone here is now one. We shall unite, gather all cards, and return to the original world together." *thunderous applause* Aguni: "Follow my orders, live for me, and die for me" *silence* Aguni is no politician 🤦‍♀️🤣 Little did they know! He played a vital role in maintaining the beach's equilibrium. 💔💔 He just wanted his best friend back 🥹😭

Anya
>>162836398

*Anakin voiceover* "This is where the fun begins" 🔥🔥🔥

Merry
>>162836786

How can this be a spoiler? I already mention in my comment that for me the main character of s2 is chishiya.. because he is my favourite character even in S1 i like him even more than Arisu And its okay if other's don't like him i respect everyone's opinion.🙂people said so many things about aguni's character in S1 that you will like him you will change your mind about him etc that was a spoiler...🙂

Danny

lol this is 100x better than squid game

Anya
>>162836786

I get you. I guess I have to word myself carefully moving forward. Sometimes I like characters because of superficial reasons. I hope I wasn't a hindsight merchant. I liked Aguni because how badass he was in the tag game. I like Chishiya because I admired his intelligence. It could just be a feeling or attraction. I know their against our mc's but their characters are interesting. Sorry for ranting here, it just gets annoying🫣

Ayoodude
>>162836786

Dawg because now they know he doesn’t die in season 1 …that’s a spoiler lol come on now

DownstairsRug

Wow. Crazy ending to the season. Looking forward to more!

Billie

here to say we appreciate the consistency and grind 😭🤎 back to back bangers! can’t wait to watch this after work <33333 have a lovely day everyone

WHY

Onto season 2 now! Season 2 is more epic, much better than season 1. The cinematography and the background musics/sound of s2 are sick, and all the games are on a whole different level!

Merry
>>162836786

No anya its okay..🙂The best thing in this show is that all characters are unique in their own way and try their best to survive.. And especially girls(not useless) .. Thankgod not arisu kun or chishiya kun🤣🤣

WHY

The plot twist in the first part of this season’s finale was already great, but everything else in the second part of this episode together with Mira’s appearance on the screen just makes the finale even more amazing! - The fact that Hatter purposefully pointed his gun with no bullet to Aguni, almost wanting Aguni to shoot and kill him, just makes their story so sad. Hatter did actually realise that he’s gone too far and became crazy so he wanted his own friend Aguni to end his craziness. - I think the scene where the random military guy couldn’t die from the shoot with the empty gun is a powerful scene because now he has to live his life with guilt - living with guilt is sometimes more painful than dying. - Just a side note, people said Niragi didn’t die from the burn and fall because he fell into the pool. I guess the show didn’t make it obvious because they want his later appearance to be a surprise to the audience. That said, there’s a more valid reason why he didn’t die and you’ll find out in s2.

WHY
>>162838357

I always love reading your illustrations and analysis. Very well said.

Mia Malvik

Came here to appreciate the wall art omg?? The Haikyu one is unreal

Chérissa
>>162843014

Fr it's amazing. I saw the unboxing for it and the people sent so much cool merch, some personalized as well in other unboxing. It amazes me when they receive packages, the fans go all out.

Fatipapi

The haikyuu poster 🥹🥹🥹🥹

Fatipapi

“I’ve peed on fires my whole life” 😂😂😂 yall are different

Will

Season 2 let’s go!

Jonas Teigen

I know this is irrelevant but, Holy berserk peak on the table?!! i think many would love a short or long review per book/volum. Honestly best fiction i have experienced ever.

Fatipapi

SO SIKED for the face cardssss!!! *ominous drum rolll*

C2-H5-OH

The wall art is fantastic. I'm just concerned why GoT is p there but AoT isn't :(

Will

I don’t know how to explain this but Chishiya is so like, that type of side character in anime that u don’t see every time but when u see him he’s so aura farming and goated Imo.

Ariuka Once

Wait, Berserk!? Do you guys read it?

Colin Boehling

im so happy with the haikyu poster, looks good

El

The disdain on canon’s face everytime chishiya’s on screen is so funny

El
>>162848563

just doesnt translate well in live action

Gnom

Wtf so many cliffhangers. New posters, Berserk book

Betsy

It's about to get really dark... I'm all in. 😳😏

Colin Boehling

cannon is so done with jacks smooth brain XD

Patriicia

OMG the wall behind you looks great!

Colin Boehling

last comment but this was an anime.... so the cringe ass lady actor is trying to be like the character from the anime but it just misses so hard lmao

Ale

The Daichi close up ❤️ Studio is looking 🔥

Vanesa

Berserk was a stress to watch. I dont know if I would read the books. My brother reads them and said he wanted to stop but he's still going strong.

Jacob Martinez
>>162835317

Nah you’re all good sorry I got a little heated. I have to remember not everyone is gonna like certain characters.

Maf

honstly Chishiya is the best character, is my fav character at least

S Moonchild

2nd season is much more entertaining, games are next level.

Adri

i think Niragi fell into the pool so i think that is how he survived

Sasha

Haikyuu poster is lit although it lacks a bit of Oikawa😂

Sasha

Brig is scared of fire pee while Cannon embracing it

El

So this is where i stopped, looking forward to the next season!

Nico

Chishiya is def my fav among these 4 last standing characters. Im just a big sucker for cocky characters who have the ability to live up to their arrogance.

Skyster

You are absolutely right, an absolutely incredible season is coming

Anya

Heart games evoke different emotions therefore, different interpretations are made. It's a subjective experience. The constant theme however is the psychological aspect. The borderland environment combined with paranoia, confusion, and fear influences your thoughts and actions. That's why I love Mira's quote about entering the forest within your heart and confronting a ferocious bloodthirsty wolf in your image. Your very essence is at the forefront and your human nature will be tested. How will your morals, integrity, and character hold up? If they change, are they for better or for worse? Here are some subjective heart interpretations from the show and manga: (no spoilers) **Show Mira: Heart games let you toy with the hearts and feelings of others Arisu: Utterly wicked. You toy with people's feelings, betray and kill each other. Designed so that you can't win without feeling disgusted. It plays with your feelings and emotions. Makes a fool out of everyone. Nitobe: Game of betrayal where you play with people's hearts *Manga Arisu: Psychologicaly breaks down people's will Shibuki: Manipulating ones desire to live, toying with it, & crushing it Asahi: Psychological game that takes advantage of one's desire to live *Unadapted character: You can't win unless you deceive each other *Nitobe: Cruelest games As fxkd up as it is, Heart games are my favorite! It's like a psychological thriller.

Dio

Season one was a 7/10 for me while season two was a 8.5/10. Two was definitely more exciting in my opinion

Anya
>>162854199

I'm ashamed I didn't recognize it! Guts & Griffith 🔥🔥

WHY
>>162883132

Yes! Heart game is my favourite too. The psychological battle with others and the inner battle with your own self testing everyone’s human nature are shown at its best by this show.

Betsy
>>162883132

Same here. I'm so pumped for one of my favorite games! The guys are going to lose it.

Sasha

Me watching that that one sentence like😲

Sasha

Brig is too cold. I don't think I would have any chance dodging those lasers🥶

Vlad Lena

I enjoyed this show, but I also prefer “Squid Games” without doubt! Maybe it’s cos I love Korean film production way more!

Sasha

If McKay claps for an episode you know it's fire.

Ayoodude

Dude season 2 is awesome 🔥🔥🔥 visually it’s on movie level status

Sasha

For real Aguni can't be dead. If he punched an adult tiger so hard it went flying then few bullets and fire won't be enough to kill him🔥

Sasha

When will we get live action One Piece. Or is there still some spoilers for everyone except Jack?

Sasha
>>162895920

Do you have any actual experience with Japanese film production except for live action? I have only seen Shogun and Gannibal and those don't fall short compared to Korean stuff.

Sasha
>>162855208

I think she did a great job. I have not seen it but I think it's probably not 1:1 with the anime.

Katydid22

Carter I’m with you. I like Chishiya because of his morally grey nature. I can’t root for him but I want to see more of him on screen bc he’s so intriguing to watch.

Sasha
>>162840007

I have no idea why those two are even compared. But saying something is 100x better is just ridiculous anyway.

Danny
>>162840007

You don’t know why 2 East Asian survival game series are being compared? And ya it’s exaggeration but ya AIB is better than squid game by a lot too

WHY
>>162840007

Well to be fair, no show is 100x better than the others, they all have their own values. Not saying it’s fair to make comparisons when the two shows are quite different. But to me, AIB is so much better than SG (looking at both seasons of the shows).

Redbone

I prefer AIB over Squid Games, both S1 and S2! I'm a die hard action-fantasy mind bending reality lover. Also, the characters on AIB are a lot younger, its relatable. ..

Evelin⁷

season 2 is even better imo

Rayanh LaNansha
>>162897239

I haven't seen the live action, but from what people have told me, there is a spoiler left. So if they choose to watch it, it can't be until after W7

Alexa

The new swag in the back looks amazing, love the vibe

Vlad Lena
>>162895920

Not as much as Korean stuff, but of course! P.S. “Shogun” for me is another level.

Jude Yanada
>>162897239

Yeah I've seen both completely and there's just one piece of information the live action reveals way earlier than the anime.

Hector

Yesss new wall drip, needs to be painted a color now instead of white

Karlsefni

New decor looks great. Haikyu's cool but feel like it should be replaced with either an AOT banner cause it's the show that started it all or one piece since you guys will be watching it for years to come. The orange does look good though.

Hector
>>162911367

Shouldn't remove anything, just add something of each of their fav ones

Karlsefni
>>162911367

yeah that would be cool but doesn't look like theirs much space left on that wall

Anya
>>162853821

The eye rolls🙄🙄 🤣🤣 It's hilarious! Jack is more subtle but I see you lol Chishiya is top three for me. 🫣 But this is why I like them- they know he's a "fan fave" and yet, they are honest in their reaction/commentary.

Anya
>>162873083

WHAT? HOW?! Well, y'all are in for a ride season two is 🔥🔥

Will

2 of my favorites games are in season 2 I can’t wait!

TrueCrisp
>>162897239

Live action reveals a spoiler from like episode 320, so it'll be a long way before we watch it. hopefully season 2 is out by the time they get to it though

Mike Lew

Expanse and Westworld better

Sasha
>>162897239

With this schedule that is going on they are about to be right on time for it I think🙏

WHY

I’m with you Carter. Episodes 3 & 8 are my favourite episodes of s1 of the show.

WHY
>>162925033

But then I’ve got so many favourite episodes from season 2 🤣

Betsy
>>162883132

And that's why I love this show so much. They showcase that aspect of human nature so well. It makes you see people's true colors in the face of massive chaos, terror, and impending death looming around every corner... But then again, I've always been a sucker for post apocalyptic/dystopian/fantasy type shows. Also, I find the storylines most intriguing when it comes to this specific genre.

Amna 🍉

CAN'T WAIT FOR S2

Jonoridge

After seeing your reactions to this and Squid Game, I'm just laughing at the thought of watching you guys react to Gantz. xD

WHY
>>162925033

I like them all too 🥰 There’s so much to the show if we dissect it bit by bit.

vicc

it's a very interesting show and very creative games, but there is something that is difficult to ignore... the acting of the cast is very bad, which makes it difficult for me to take the show seriously. I hope the next season they get better...

HaNo0onat

I agree I love AIBL but squid game acting make it better But to me both are great

Anya
>>162925033

This is why we connect! We are all like-minded deep thinkers! Yes, we enjoy the flashy action parts BUT we enjoy the essence of storytelling more. We're able to interpret and analyze each episode and it's lesson/theme. I'm happy to have y'all who understands this show on a deeper level. Not many see the hidden messages. A lot get easily distracted or turned off by the dramatic scenes. 💞💞 Sorry, long msg🫣

WHY
>>162925033

Aww Anya, that’s so sweet of you 💕💕 What you said is so true - I can totally see we’re all deep thinkers. While many would agree that this is a good and entertaining show, it’s rare to see people analyse each and every single episode in detail or take note of the specific scenes/moments of the show or even appreciate the very subtle messages conveyed by it. I love it when people appreciate the show as much as I do, understanding all the meaning behind, especially the intention of the director/writer and the purpose of the different plots/scenes. I’m also just so happy and grateful to have you and Betsy whom I can connect to and exchange thoughts and ideas on a deeper level. Loving it ❤️

Betsy
>>162925033

Aww thank you! It's been very nice and fun. I've always been a deep thinker and I love to analyze and dissect things to fully try to understand them. With that being said, sometimes things do go over my head a little. Aww Anya and WHY, I've loved getting to know you both. It's comforting and reassuring to find a connection with someone let alone two people. Us three are just extremely passionate about this show. Also, I was nerdy and even ordered season 1 and 2 on ebay. Even though I know it's not official, I still wanted to have a copy. That's what I do with my favorite Kdramas too. I know I've said this multiple times, but I can't wait to see the guys reactions on season 2 especially episode 1. It really sets into motion the intensity and tension for all the new games about to take place. Sorry for the extremely long message. But I felt very touched. Thank you again, both of you. I mean it sincerely from the bottom of my heart. Gosh I'm getting emotional. Haha 😭💕

Bella Putri

AIB is more intriguing when it comes to the games, more action packed. BUT Squid Game takes the cake when it comes to acting!

Bella Putri
>>162954458

And I guess AIB is basically like what people would expect if an anime or manga is being adapted to live actions, because as we know, anime adaptation live action has never been the best lol

Bella Putri

Season 2 will be more exciting than season 1! Looking forward to your reactions!

Betsy

Hope we get an early release today. I can’t contain my excitement!! Season 2 really blew it out of the park for me.

Kelsey

In Japanese, the name Mira (the name of the woman who was at the beach but also on screen at the end) means "Wonder (or Wonderful)" which goes along with the whole Alice in Wonderland theme

Stairguy

The Gek sign is dope. Where’d you get it?

Mysterious Figure

I dont see how you guys can rate this show above a 7 at this point? Think what you have rated as 8.4 and higher and then compare to this... this show is cringe every few minutes. Takes me out of it so often with how unconvincing the acting is, how forcefully "set up" certain camera frames are just to fit some manga panel frame I guess? It is really bring the whole experience down for me. Then those anime sighs and name calling whenever someone is in trouble... "Aguniiii", "Arisuuu"... from Usagi every time he gets punched in the face, as if her calling out his name actually does anything to help him or her feel any better. I cant stomach the requirement of me to suspend my disbelief so many times... after that burn victim throws Usagi off himself she basically does a 360 in mid air obviously suspended on wires... like why was that shot even required to be in the show? It looked horrible. So many little things like that... Then that burn victim guy, cant remember his name - why did he wrap his half burnt clothes around his face and back like that? As if he has a cape around his back and a mask on his head. Just to look like his manga design? Later we find out his other eye isnt even burnt, and it doesnt even have any relevance to the story... so just why? So many silly things bring down the believability of the characters for me. Then the shot of the many people looking at the burning Beach building complex... they were made to stand spread apart in such an unnatural way, like every person isolated, when social interactions dont work that way. People clump together with friends and close companions, but in this, Im guessing "manga frame shot", they were told to stand in specific spots just for that "shot". Its so annoying. Aguni should have been shot so many times running directly at the burn victim cosplay guy but I guess bad writing needs to happen. Oh and the bullet shots on the bodies looks worse than paintball. At least make it look semi believable. At this point it looks like they get sprayed on. Yea, a 7, at MOST for me.

Julio Martinez

Season 2 for me makes this show better than squid game even over S2 of squid game

Welch

love the new background!

Riya

my fav game was the "Distance" game! I like the twist of that game

humbleandkindness

Always appreciate the honesty the geks show, freakin love it
