I'm so glad parts 1 and 2 of the finale will be released in theaters in the US. Remember y'all, tickets are now on sale for those living in the US. Not really? I've only ever seen it translated two ways: Asian or Oriental. I've been watching this show and reactions to it since 2013 and I don't think I've ever seen a sub where they don't bring up her race.

I'm pretty sure the sub I saw said that "She's oriental" instead of "she's asian". However right after that it still does say "She is from a land called asia". So some subs say shes asian others say oriental but I think they all say that she comes from Asia.

I do not think it was in a poll before, but the thing is after watching the boys for a while you can tell that they love anime but Re:Zero and some shows are just like too anime if you get what I say, I do not think they tend to like anime shows that are too much of an anime, idk it is just a feeling after being a subscriber for two years, and even if they liked it they are still far away from watching things like Re:Zero which I think is for anime veterans (im not one myself) so that is why in the polls most of the shows are still the big ones that "everyone watched/should watch"

Agreed it’s very tropey which I believe they don’t like and this is just a personal opinion but I don’t think they’ll like the MC. I enjoy Re:Zero for the story and how the MC solves issues in ways a normal shounen MC wouldn’t but I get how that its not for everyone.

I think they have the anime power level by now honestly. Will still be weird at first but the show does a good job of using the tropes for the benefit of it's storytelling. The difficult shows are the ones where the anime gimmicks are just there for no real reason except that people into anime tend to enjoy them + fanservice.

I get where you guys are coming from but have to disagree, if they liked stuff like AOT, Vinland & even Solo Leveling there’s no way they won’t think Re:Zero is hype as fuck with all the SPOOOOOOOOOOOILER INCOMING fucked up deaths and that return by death gimmick grips almost any reaction channel I’ve seen that were also not familiar with Isekais beforehand.

Yes! All that emotion was written on Carter's face. It definitely wasn't there on their first watch and that is why we adore to rewatch shows we love; with every rewatch there is a new emotion that can't be understood without watching the show in its entirety

I never thought something would pass game of thrones as my favorite show of all time, and I had never seen anime before and tried Naruto and it was not that good but they were so nice and referred me to Attack on Titan and it passed GoT as my favorite show ever.
