The stress each time Berthold or Reiner give away they're the titans these episodes (literally everytime they talk or do something) almost killed me. Attack On TItan just keeps getting crazier, but season 2 probably has the most of these crazy moments. There are no episodes without some emotional pay-off or some twist, it's literally every episode.

First comment on your guys' Patreon lol, been following since AoT 1.0 on YouTube But watching this episode in full with all your guys' reactions showed me exactly why joining your Patreon was worth every penny. The utter confusion from the girls, the big ass smirks from the guys who have seen this scene a millionth time and then there are Cannon and Carter. Carter wasn't the only one tearing up, when the music hit. It is just one of the best scenes in all of AoT. Fun fact: From what I've read from others, the name YouSeeBigGirl is actually a play on words. In Japanese, see is "miru." You+miru->Yumiru->Ymir and it first plays during Ymir's transformation so it's basically "Ymir Big girl" big girl meaning titan in this instance.

I need an episode of Carter and Cannon sharing their opinions on rewatch. I remember watching it for the first time, I was spoiled by a comment that said "can't believe Reiner would do that. What a betrayal" and I still couldn't guess he was a titan. I just thought he will do something little, like not save Berthold or something. Watched 2x6 with my mouth open, what a twist. Girls should rewatch this reaction to see how tense you guys were. Carter's anxiety passed on to me, I was squirming in my seat.

Seen so many reactions to AOT but the GEKS always hit different. Carter and Cannon's rewatch reactions are a million times better and genuine than most reaction channels. I could see Carter trying to hold in the same anxiety that I always feel in this show. And Riley is the GOAT in terms of first time watch analysis. Absolutely love how she's always locked in and give this show the attention to detail and respect that it deserves. Been here from the start of AOT 1.0 on YT. Hope to keep seeing more of you guys.

It's been talked about ad nauseam on every reaction video for this ep but it really is so funny and kinda brilliant how casual the reveal is. We're only an episode removed from the massive Ymir reveal and it looks to be a breather episode that sets the table for the back half of the season then BAM. I've seen reactors catch on to the fact that something weird is going on with Reiner but they still get so caught off guard by how the reveal is executed.

I had to literally scream because of how epic that episode 6 ending is. I was rocking back and forth for a while on my seat but I had to stand up for the rest when Reiner took off his arm support. I could feel how frustrated Cannon and Carter were when they had to just stay dead silent. I think they wanted to scream also. The first time I saw this scene I really thought Reiner is joking🥲 it's unbelievable how almost none can figure out armored titan is Reiner on the first watch.

This is one of the few moments I like better in the dub. The casual drop is much more shocking imo because you can literally miss it. You can’t really miss the casual bomb drop with subtitles. I remember on my first watch on dub I literally had my heart drop and had to rewind to make sure I heard them correctly. Love rewatching this with new watchers

In the manga Ilse’s Notebook is actually inserted right after the Trost arc and before the female titan arc. So it’s actually “meant” to be seen so early that Ymir’s name being revealed in 2x1 is supposed to be an actual reveal. Just her name immediately makes her sus to an audience member who’s seen or read it

Also spoiler…………… anybody thinks it’s foreshadowing how the colossal’s arm goes over somebody’s head? Btw I think Connie mentioned Annie saving him too because he doesn’t know about Annie yet right? It seems weird to us as an audience because it feels like it’s been a while since she got caught but that whole incident was happening as the same time as the “titan breach”. He was quarantined with the rest of the 104th squad during the Annie trap. And to answer Bradlynn’s question about where the scouts were using the ODM gear on when they came to save Christa and co, it was on the titans themselves.

This would bother me if the community actually voted for decent shows or if we weren’t getting enough content. But I’m fine with what we got—the geks do a better job of picking shows themselves. They should just get rid of the polls or redesign them. Breaking Bad, Mob Psycho, Attack on Titan, Severance, and Solo Leveling make for an amazing lineup. And only one of those actually won in the polls (Mob Psycho). If anything, I’d much rather they filled the gap left by Alice with more uploads of one of the shows they’re currently watching.

That’s literally how I discovered he was the colossal. They look the same and side eye the same. Yea, hundreds of characters do side eye, that’s obvious , obviously. But hundreds of characters don’t resemble the colossal. It’s subtle but it’s still obvious. And anything is “enough clue”, if you’re looking for it. I also said that it’s not a huge thing meaning exactly that.

I was surprised Ymir was a Titan. I'm wondering how she got turned and if she's part of another faction since Reiner and Bernholdt don't know her. I also was surprised by Reiner and Bernholdt, but after I know i can see it more with Reiner because he looks like the armored Titan. I'm curious to see why they were asked to wipe out humanity and what they were told because it seems like they had reason to believe they were bad people. I'm excited to watch more. Ymir's story is one of the most subtle pieces of writing in this show (and that's saying something). Man, I also felt personally betrayed finding out Reiner and Berthold were the armored and colossal titan this whole time. Reiner really felt like the big bro of the group - strong, cool, made jokes and all around just seemed dependable. He was one my favorite characters. To see how close he was with the gang and that he was an enemy in disguise the whole time made me sick. It really was a gut punch. Even now, I was still on the edge of my seat with anticipation for episode 6. It made me laugh seeing the boys shifting around and exchanging looks. I don't know how anyone kept a straight face when Riley shouted that Reiner was a titan lol

@Mitch Ong. I literally ask every manga reader I've met in person if they've read Kingdom and not one has. It's a lot more niche because the anime is so dogshit, but Kingdom was the only manga I've read so far that had me as gripped as any anime.

the reactions to THE scene are always priceless. i remember reading that panel like 5 times in disbelief and the anime pulled it off so perfectly. Also i'm glad the guys are catching all the hindsight stuff, this is like my 10th rewatch and i'm STILL catching stuff i didn't before. this series is insanely good.
