GOAT PIECE

Zipzzty

Fr Peak Piece Time

Mitch

Yessss I’m assuming one pace didn’t skip luffy singing scene 😂😂😂😂

beannie

FINALLY🔥🔥 minami noooo🗣️shima waaaaa‼️🔥

Mariam.03

Peak Piece!!!!!🔥🔥🔥

Mauricio.

Silence! My captain is singing 🗣️

julia

Why only 1 ep?😭 It would take a long time to catch up at this rate!

Nashi

Absolutely loving Skypea kn a rewatch, funniest arc yet

Nashi

Ano baaAaaAAaakaaAaaaA

Tom

One Pace tends to have longer episodes so I expect we'll see this more often as they go so they can stick to their schedule. (However we're still getting as many episodes if not more than if they were to watch the OG so net positive, even at lower release rates :) Good Job Jack!)

McKay Carter

Skypiea has been so good so far, I’m loving it

ahmad

Glad you guys are enjoying One Pace

julia

That’s true! 2eps of one pace per upload was perfect tho😔

Toska Water

A lot of One Piece is inspired by real historical events. Something Oda and Robin have in common.

Neon

just one? 💔

beannie

one of the reasons I love skypiea is because of the goofiness, this arc has some of the funniest moments in the show imo, I’m glad yall are enjoying it! I love the world building and the conflict here, oda recreating something that has happened for hundreds of years in real life and that is still happening now. I just can’t wait for yall to see the resolution of all the things that have been set up so far!! i think that the messages oda portrays through the writing by the end of it are some of my favorites in the whole show

EmlovesOP

carter mentioned it being similar to the native Americans yes oda tends to do this often. and give me the loreeeee next episodes yes

beannie

ofc, my goat recognizes peak🙏

Murasaki

No Jack, they mixed fillers with canon stuff. That's what happened in Alabasta the scene the guys complained a lot are fillers, Vivi said 5 times "I forgot to tell you", a lot of boring weird adventures, Chopper randomly met the camel, those are FILLERS. There are also a lot fillers mixing in Skypiea. There was a scene I felt very stupid on my first watch and then after watching One Pace, I realized its a FILLER :/

Zipzzty

💔💔

Zipzzty

W Let’s go

Pace

Exactly

Pace

Yea but it’s still not the length of 2 full episodes and also it’s not the same as getting two episodes because the original anime is mixed with filler that drags it out so it’s counted by manga chapters not episodes - compare with other anime’s that adapt 3-4 chapters per episode whereas as one piece anime is 1-2 per epsiode. I would understand for 40 min episodes but not 30+ min episodes

kuza

brig thinking odas cooking some wild stuff just from what he knows... being caught up is great 😏

kuza

odas different man

kuza

nice pickup 👀

kuza

34:25 im sure some of yall have heard this in the dub before 🤣

Dasha

somehow Brig reproduces Luffy’s singing perfectly

Boban

idk if its too late now, but can yall watch episodes 10&11 together since ep 10 is only like 17 mins long

E L

Glad you’re enjoying it!

Marcus D

As Oda has gotten older, he’s said that to maintain a good imagination he often sleep deprives himself because it helps give him creative ideas.

Zipzzty

Can’t wait until we get to the peaks of Skypiea

Janina

I hope you’ll love One Piece so much that you’ll want to watch more than two episodes in one sitting. 🥹

Zipzzty

The Goat Is Singing

Marcus D

It was subtle but zoro’s inept sense of direction was there since the begging of the show. Around the first 5 episodes, Zoro says that he left his village to find a certain man but then when he tried to return to his village he couldn’t find his way back so he just decided to become a bounty hunter to survive 😂. But yeah oda made it more prominent at the end of Arabasta.

Zipzzty

Fr Bro Is DIFFERENT

1999

Bradlyn told Carter take off his jacket. He said “babe mans not hot”

Marcus D

The amount of one pace episodes per drop they decide to do seems to be based on run time close to 2 regular one piece episodes, so I wouldn’t worry.

E L

I love the long outro 😌

Nick K

Old geezer Luffy is always a classic. Also when he's just randomly calm and respectful in a crazy situation. I think Skypiea is a great arc, but it has some pacing stuff (probably the most hated is the Satori fight), but also in the context of where things go people can't help but compare it to future things. Won't say anymore than that.

Rhettoric

Wyper smokin on that Shura pack 😮‍💨 Luffy and Zoro are so funny in this episode. The first time I truly realized Zoro's directional dysfunction was in Alabasta when he's on the upper floors of the clocktower because he was told to "Go North" lmfao. It's still one of my favorite character running gags in the show

Marcus D

One pace episodes aren’t all the same length, some reach 40 minutes, others like the next one are as short as 17 minutes. Today’s I think was 36 minutes long, they seem to be aiming for around 40min of one pace per reaction.

Diable Jambe Flores

I came across an interesting fan theory about Zoro’s lack of direction. Basically it’s never been good but it got worse after he obtained the cursed sword in Loguetown. The cursed sword usually ends up killing its master. But because Zoro is strong it only affects his already subpar sense of direction.

Amare D.

Mckay if Luffy did take the shoes he would be trash flying around and bumping into trees LOL

Toska Water

I know it is loaded with references, and you can see how much it has shaped the world building of One Piece.

Jmann

Have you guys watched The Penguin / will you react to it? It is genuinely a masterpiece. Please please react to it.

T

My theory is that Luffy's beautiful singing is the song the Shandians have been waiting for all these years

Janina

😂😂😂

GreetswithJudgement

Hopefully it’s voted in next time. My favorite actor of all time playing my least favorite Batman villain of all time and making me enjoy him? Yea I can’t wait! ❤️

Nicholas R. Gonzales

The thing with one pace is that it doesn’t edit out boring stuff to make the pacing faster, it edits out content that wasn’t in the manga. One pace is more faithful to the original work than the normal anime is. All the stuff that one pace cuts out would not exist if one piece started being animated today, because modern animes don’t mix filler into canon episodes anymore since they don’t need to pad for time.

greyxwaren

luffy: man….i wanted to see a goat me whenever straw hats face off against fodder enemies: me too king, me too 🥲

julia

Let my Luffy sing his song 🤣

Pace

Ya I know, but this episode is not 40 mins & it doesn’t cover what a typical 2 episodes cover in terms of manga progression so it’s kinda eh - like basically getting less one piece time but same amount of story progression as before.

Pace

I just can’t wait for the next saga

Marcus D

We already reached the peak with singing luffy😮‍💨

Pace

Lol fuck the shandians bring me lore and robin

Qhoa

W

Pace

W

Maj

Lowkey bring back the whiteboards for one piece 🤔

wanira 11

Jack's little fist bump when the Luffy song came on, that's a true one piece fan there

wanira 11

With the better pacing, I feel like Oda's storytelling shines even more :) real glad you chose one pace for this arc

wanira 11

It was in the manga so one pace woudn't skip it

Marcus D

He just researches so many different cultures and countries, he’s goated for that.

saDbo

good catch from Mckay for remembering Zoro's moment against Mr 1 😁

saDbo

Wyper's moment against Shura, when he said "If you want my shoulder, you can have it" then proceeds to destroy Shura with the reject dial was where he became my goat

Pepperoni Pony .

Luffy singing with some stick he found on the ground is peak One Piece, change my mind

Vallll

He is epic

jrnoodles

Thanks! Luffy's singing always get me.

Gilster

The one they mentioned where he's out in a desert jungle while they run around the city is hilarious too

CoLdBITeR

The anime is great with the voice acting, but the long and extra shots that make it take forever is what I don't like. I never made it through to this far in the anime, but I made it up to 800 chapters for the manga. It's such a faster read than a watch, and easier to enjoy the moments at your own pace Imo.

christopher

am ok with staying in one pace its kinda like reading the manga

Mitch

I mean modern anime’s most definitely mix filler into anime’s. The whole point of an anime adaptation is to make the manga come alive. Lots of times authors cannot fully express everything on the pages which is where anime takes creative liberties. If Sukuna Vs Mahoraga was strictly done by manga material it would be a 45 second fight scene. Instead the anime turned it into a 12 minute long masterclass.

Dasha

It was said in Loguetown that Kitetsu “leads user to his death”, but there's a theory that Zoro is so bad with directions that he always goes the wrong way and that’s why he is the only one who can use it

Mahti

Basically every arc is inspired by the real world one way or another, the amount of thought and symbolism Oda puts into his work is mind blowing. Most people don't even pick up half of his hidden messages and little details he sprinkles everywhere. I saw this one lady predict the huge plot twist that happens in episode 1071 by the time she was still in Jaya on her first read of the manga just by paying deep attention to the details.

Marcos

Next 2 arcs one pace not needed for if your skip long ring long arc( fuck that filler arc 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣)

Nami Swannn

At the end of the day nothing happened 🙂‍↕️

saDbo

it's not a filler arc, the anime just added a bunch of filler in it. Also it may have some importance in the future, we never know

1999

Lmaooo

Seda

never skip canon content (calling it filler is wild when it introduces such a major character)

Marcos

The game are the filler I was taking about but that major character 🥶 is the only good part of that arc

Mahti

EL needs One Pace it's terribly paced

A.G

The Long ring Arc is peak, it's what got me into one piece back when it was airing on TV

Toska Water

@Mahti Same I watched a guy make some pretty accurate predictions about a character 3 years before the arc was ever released. The amount of historical references of real pirates and real-world events is insane. One Piece is perfect for those who appreciate both history and anime.

Diable Jambe Flores

Not saying he’s the strongest. Just a really strong character that the curse isn’t leading to his death right away. At any rate it’s just a fun theory.

Quisel

I DON'T THINK THIS COUNTS AS A SPOILER BUT I'M PUTTING A SPACE HERE JUST IN CASE . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Rewatching this episode made me remember that what I love about One Piece is that it's fiction but it's also rooted in reality, as Oda tackles a lot of social issues in a creative way. From colonialism, poverty, corruption, slavery, human trafficking, racism, historical negationism, genocide, capitalist roots of environmental issues etc. I was not aware of all these things when I was watching it as a kid but I do remember learning how to be kinder and more empathetic towards others through this show, it's made a permanent mark in my life which is odd since it's literally just "pixels on a screen" that even kids who don't know the plot can enjoy. Which is why I want to watch One Piece together with my future children someday and I hope they'd love it as much as I do💗

forthwanderer

religion too is also a major theme I feel

Rhettoric

Great comment. The way Oda handles most of these societal themes combined with the grand storytelling is why it's my GOAT. It's crazy to me that there are people out there that say One Piece isn't political. The world could really use a Luffy right now

MegMegMegg

This comment sums up a lot of what I love about One Piece too (also definitely don't think it's a spoiler, but I appreciate you being cautious. Religion is for sure also a theme in this arc, like how religious leaders can really abuse their power and manipulate people into doing things, like the things with Conis and the rest of the Skypieans being so fearful to take actions they feel are right due to their fear of punishment.

MegMegMegg

Zoro has always had a ridiculously terrible sense of direction. Back in Syrup Village, he and Luffy both were late to the fight with the Kuro pirates because they went the wrong way so it's been established since pretty early on. It's a fun gag that also acts as a plot device.

Natacha

Jack reaction to Luffy singing is so funny 🤣

Natacha

and he was actually lost from the beginning since he couldn't find his way back to his village, so he became a bounty hunter to survive

Ijeoma Akunne

native americans not native indians

Matt Haloostock

That's wild. One of my friends told me some years ago that he only would get like 4 hours of sleep a night, but I never knew the exact reason behind it

Nashi

He does tackles these themes but superficially. I love One Piece but in no way its political themes are deep. "We need a luffy" in simbolism means great, in actuality it's kinda childish to say

Nashi

Like he has a choice lol

Luffers

Don't forget when he did a upside down 360 no scope on the Merry

Benjamin Knock

Theres nothing wrong with using the word "indian" or "american indian" to refer to american natives, historically its just a broad term for people of the new world as the new world was originally just supposed to be a new way to india. Native american had no historical value as europeans named the americas and each tribe is so closed off to outsiders they have never and will never want to be associated with the other tribes and would just prefer to be called by their tribe names, but for historical and broad categorical reasons we give them a continental name, its just logical to use the historical name as it aligns with documentation and there is no wrong or right name to refer to them to begin with

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

I keep thinking that I should ask this to the Geks in a few arcs only, but I’m so curious to know which Straw Hat is your favorite so far.

Murasaki

My guess for Carter: Sanji 🤭

kaan

Luffy’s baka song, it is so peak…

Hector

It's impossible not laugh

Hector

Early season rankings lol

Hector

One pace it's lit, it should stay as long as possible so we can get caught quicker

Marcus D

Yeah and the whole todo zooming into cosmic space sequence before his black flash was anime filler, as well as his whole Imagination takeda tag team against Mahito. Those were fire btw, people complain that one piece puts in filler bits to drag it out but like Mitch said, most anime do it. The problem with one piece is that they drag reaction moments and still shots out.

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

Except for Cannon whose favorite is Zoro and McKay whose favorite is Chooper, my guesses are: - Carter: Luffy or Sanji? - Brig: Luffy? - Jack: Luffy? I’m curious to know if they might change it up later on too.

Nicholas R. Gonzales

Theres a very big difference between adding extra scenes to enhance emotional weight, vs adding filler scenes to pad for time. My point is that modern anime don’t pad for time because they have no reason to. They aren’t trying to keep from catching up to the manga.

Jmann

Honestly it’s just so impressive to me, no matter how you look at it, it’s an amazing show. I’d put that one season over most of my fav shows and that says a lot. More people need to know about it.

Mr. John Kagurabachi

I’m pretty sure all the gek’s favorite character is Zoro.

Veronia

I loved yall giggling at Luffy’s singing!🤣 Especially Jack!💜

Veronia

Love itttt!🤣

farkzzy

they need to do this

Marcus D

I guarantee you that part of the reason for modern anime scenes is time padding. For most seasonal anime they get very close to the manga by the end of the season. A break before the next season allows for a bigger manga gap and filler padding does also. Let’s not pretend that one piece doesn’t have good anime only scenes, even this early on. “One piece doesn’t edit out boring stuff” is false, they edit out everything that isn’t manga and they’ll keep so,e extras in based on personal taste and enough noise from viewers, plenty of nice stuff gets cut still.

Lina

which one is mckay?

Marcus D

Let’s not forget Walpol monopolising health care, which has happened irl 😢. Also one piece is definitely the show above any other that I want my kids to see,

Marcus D

The games aren’t filler(just some of it). Every canon piece of one piece material Needs. To. Be. Consumed! 🤜😤

Marcus D

The Manga version is always faster to consume than any anime.

Marcus D

I feel like there will be a few zoros and luffys, no sanji.

Marcus D

@Kwisatz, the gymnastics in this arc have been very good

CoLdBITeR

That's true, but it's even more true with long paced anime. Which is why I prefer reading manga for the long ones.

Ante

Brig hittin that Luffy verse so well took me by suprise. Nailed that joint first time.

Marcus D

One piece channel take-over 😈(jk).

Janina

OP haters will hate us even more 😅

Maj

You know ball bruvva - cheeky little whiteboard at the end of each arc would be fire With all the foreshadowing in this show it'd be fun to see predictions

saDbo

@Kenji the second from the right

JayCnY

Glad I’m not alone in thinking anime without real consequences feels lame. I get why some prefer it, but stop baiting death scenes just to undo them moments later. One of my few gripes with the show.

Lina

facts

Lina

which one is brig?

Lina

the one with the cap right?

Ante

Far right.

Marcus D

Yes. Left to right, their names are Jack, Cannon, Carter, McKay and Brig.

Jack

Should we watch long ring long land?? We could One Pace it, it could be good for the memes lol

Marcus D

As to why Wyper didn’t get caught in the strings, I think it goes back to his “are you willing to step over your comrades?” question. Wyper is willing, and so he may have expected the possibility of Shura’s strings and held back, letting his crew take the brunt of it in order to get his opportunity for a take down.

Marcus D

Death isn’t the only “real consequence” that is negative and long lasting. A show can have consequences that can provide a sufficient anxiety that isn’t frequent death. But I do agree with the rate of Oda’s fake deaths being too much.

Maj

You know them better than us mate, you steer the ship and we'll deal with the sails But if ur asking for opinions, I get the feeling that they probably not gonna rock with it, they seem to fw the one piece humour n stuff but not when it's too drawn out and bears no impact on the actual plot. (I'm the same btw) And if that's the case, I don't see the point in watching something knowing that they're not gonna enjoy it that much, especially when it's a lot of filler. I'd suggest to just chuck the one pace on so they see the cannon content and the off to the next island lad The arc is deffo fun but drags on for way too long, when I first watched I thought it was key to the story cos it wasn't listed as "filler" in the filler list I was using. If I knew what I know about it now I probs woulda skipped most of it icl

Ante

If I recall, the anime adds 3 eps worth of filler into the arc which drag it, so One Pace is definitely valid imo. If you skip it, you will have the purists on you guys' heads though. Edit: *corrected amount of filler. thanks @Marcus.

Marcus D

Definitely watch it, it’s a fun experience at least of nothing else(not to mention manga canon). One pacing it for a smoother experience is a good idea.

Marcus D

If you’re talking about Shura and the Enel game though, those aren’t necessarily fake out deaths as Enel never mentioned death, just defeat and number of remaining people.

Marcus D

@Ante, I don’t think it doubles the length of the arc but there is like 3 eps worth of filler added. It can be easily skipped normally but one pace is just smoother.

Nick

I think Long Ring Long Land will only work if it’s all watched in one sitting, otherwise I think it might drive some of them nuts lol

cozo

It's fine with one pace, it's only 6 eps

Amare D.

its up to y'all other creators skip it

Amare D.

skip it or watch it in one sitting with one pace because week to week with this arc is not it

Seda

If you mean react to it—I don’t think you should if you don’t think it’ll be enjoyable, but I think everyone should still watch it on their own time (with one pace) because no matter how people feel about it, it’s still canon and knowing One Piece the info on Davy Back Fights could become relevant. I'll also add that I found this arc way more entertaining than Syrup Village, and you guys made it through that. Plus, you all said you enjoyed the humor and downtime in the show, so I don’t think you’ll dislike it that much. But if you do decide to skip it, please still react to the end of the arc when a certain character makes their first appearance.

Gilster

Skipping a canon arc is nasty work lol but if you watch do one pace

Marcus D

I’ve seen more creators watch it than skip it.

Touchmi

Toei pacing is basically having long dramatic stare downs for 20secs, extended fight scenes, and a lot of quirky funny dialog. A lot of One Piece's humor comes from Toei and not the manga. Which to me is a gem that is being missed out on watching One Pace but isnt a big deal because this is about the one piece story

Dasha

It's canon, of course you should watch it. I even feel that Carter might kinda like it

JayCnY

well said, but by real consequence I'm implying permanence

Dasha

I doubt someone would choose Sanji unfortunately

Marcus D

So your problem isn’t enough deaths. Just clear fake out deaths? Because there are permanent current day consequences. Maybe just not enough for your preference?

Toska Water

One Pace it. Don't skip cannon arcs.

Ninaly

One Pace it. I don't think skipping canon arcs should even be an option

ScreenWise

Zoro had a terrible sense of direction since the beginning. It didnt just become a thing out of nowhere.

kaan

You should watch it definitely one pace or not. Skipping it is disrespectful. It might be bad and you might not like it but it is cannon and part of the story. I don’t think Oda sat down and worked on an arc for weeks just for it to be don’t matter. People who call it filler do not know what they are talking about.

GBuckets

Who cares, they aren’t missing anything. This arc has the worst pacing in the pre timeskip arcs

GBuckets

The false deaths in the show are from side characters that we probably won’t see again though. It makes no sense for them to be alive when they should be dead. Just look at Attack on Titan. Important characters frequently die but it doesn’t ruin the show

GBuckets

I can’t wait for you guys to start the Water 7 saga. One of the best arcs in anime and the arc that concerted penguinz0

Mariam.03

One Pace it please

Aokiji Piece🧊

If you guys decide to watch Long Ring Long Land on One Pace, there is just one problem: it skips a canon manga scene. The scene is in the opening of episode 225. Maybe you’ll just end up skipping it, but if you can fit the scene into the first episode in One Pace, then please do.

Hansen

Yo why I don’t I get notifications? Have them turned on…

Rhettoric

I agree that you guys shouldn't skip it, just use One Pace for it. Oda could very well use parts of that arc in the future. I think the themes surrounding it are also important for the Water 7 saga as a whole

Nick

Good point

LeBron Glazer (Bronsexual)

Nah EL pacing is way worse. It’s just that EL story is so good that it tends to overshadow its pacing issues.

Murasaki

How abt record 30 mins of yall sitting there reading the manga? Would be fun as your first manga experience as well lol. If not, One Pace is fine, its only 6 eps and the last one is actually episode 227-228, can even watch in the original form.

E L

It’s unfair to skip it jack

bobqueen16

it is imperative to watch because it foreshadows important concepts for the following arc. watch it one pace though

Lina

are you croation btw?

Lina

ahh perfect thank you very much!

Marcus D

Good looks. Comment the exact episode and time frame stamps when we get to the arc. If you can.

Aokiji Piece🧊

Thanks, guys! I’ll remind them later again with the episode and time frame stamps. But I need you guys to also remind them if you can. It’ll help if more do it.

Luffers

I'm not getting them either

John D. Acebes

One Pace. No skip. Funny story. Also canon. Arc payoff is mid but the journey is a fun gimmicky vibe. Good context for the insanity of the Grand Line. I can def imagine them potentially not liking the arc depending on their tolerance for silly bs

John D. Acebes

Different storytelling and framing. I agree with you tho. But death in a show about war like AOT needs that kind of emphasis on mortality to drive their narrative points. OP is told as a fun adventure story inspired by Saturday morning cartoons that can get real and intense often, but at its core was not written to have death drive the narrative

John D. Acebes

Also just the rating system. OP was produced to include a younger audience. AOT not so much. Frequency of dying isnt too good for a kid to process. It does suck about the fake out deaths, but real deaths just go that much harder

John D. Acebes

I see the point you're making, but they weren't in India. The fact we can look at this in retrospect and correctly say they were native to what is now America should feel like an indication we should just say native American. Also I'm not native American but just adding that the native Americans had no historical value feels a little disrespectful. Not my fight tho. Last thing, justifying it bc it was a historically used as an umbrella terms isn't the best justification. Ex: Historically a lot of people called black people a certain word as an umbrella term

JayCnY

If One Piece avoided death just because it’s a "kids' show," then it wouldn’t have the amount of fan service and sexual innuendos it does. Nami and Robin’s designs keep getting more revealing, a certain someone constantly asks to see panties, Sanji’s nosebleeds are over the top pervy, and eventually there is a character who's basically an exhibitionist in a speedo. Clearly, Oda isn’t shying away from mature themes.

Niffol

I respect that McCay disrespected Enel. McCay is definitely the biggest hater on the couch and it would be disappointing to hear it was all for the camera lololol. Every new show you guys react to I immediately think of characters with weird voices and chuckle preemptively at McCays "oh my god i hate this guys voice. Kill him."

Nashi

How do people even remember this type of stuff lol

zoro's enma

I respect the wanting to continue with one page, personally I watched it normally and I did fast forward a lot of shit that was ruining the pacing BUTTTT I hope you will watch the next arc not with one pace, the rest you can continue with one pace 😭

april 🍏

do you mean the next saga? because long ring long land most definitely needs One Pace lol

april 🍏

I'm ok with y'all skipping it because I will not be rewatching it but it is canon haha

Spoons

One pace it

Diable Jambe Flores

I’m in the minority. I love One Piece but I hate this arc. I say skip it. Outside of the very end of it when an important character enters the fray I say skip. Canon or not it drags so bad even in one pace.

Nicholas R. Gonzales

Not true, the manga has a ton of humor. Pretty much all the jokes that are actually funny are in the manga. Toei’s added comedy scenes makes the characters into caricatures of themselves, it’s plainly obvious when Oda isn’t the one writing them.

Nicholas R. Gonzales

Definitely one pace it, don’t skip altogether. It’s still canon to the manga and there’s always the possibility it winds up being relevant to the main story in the future

wanira 11

Agreed Nicholas, One Piece manga has so much humor and most of the time it's way better then the filler humor

Ari

my favorite arc

Ari

Carter said his favorite was Zoro and then Luffy

zoro's enma

Nooo water 7/ennies lobby

xSaorix

I was doubtful of One pace because I've never even heard of it until now, since I only read the OP manga and the anime was something I've watched years ago when I still watched anime. BUT, wow. One pace really reminds me A LOT more of the manga's pacing than the normal anime. It even feels like the manga more in some ways. I'm enjoying it.

Kayanolive

its the way to go 100%

Galaxy Nemesis

Water 7/ Enies Lobby please no One Pace. That saga is FIRE

desolate leng

Another (late) vote for One Pace. It does connect to the Water Seven Saga through the introduction of Aokiji if nothing else (which is included in the One Pace cut), and that's significant for Robin's story. And there's a thematic connection wrt what crew means and all that, so that's something to think about. Also, it's only 6 episodes in the One Pace cut, and one if them is only about 15 minutes.

Wadzi

Gents pleaaase do not watch One Pace for the goated Water 7/ Enies Lobby arcs please. That would honestly be blasphemy in my eyes. Because those 2 arcs are absolute PEAK and deserve to be watched in full!!!
