Men no/low diff. Gorillas are powerful, but overrated, so 100 men who are determined to kill a gorilla would have no difficulty. I remember that gorilla vs grizzly bear scenario, and I found it so funny how anyone would think a gorilla would beat a grizzly bear.

By the way, Koba's "death" last film was intentionally left ambiguous because he was initially planned to be in this film. This idea was later scrapped, but they liked his character enough to give him those appearances through Caesar's visions.

Winter betrayed Caesar almost purely out of fear. When he felt that they could escape to the "desert", he had second thoughts about what was going to happen, so he said that they should leave that night. Instead of confessing, he flees, succumbing to his fear once again.

Good movies. I think I personally prefer Indy just because it is my childhood but I’m glad I finally saw these films. I think I like them in order of release. I did appreciate Caesar’s conclusion but I see where Cannon is coming from when he said it was the same plot as the first movie in a way. l also agree with Brig how there was little to no resolution. But if we look at it as only Caesar’s story then I can accept this end. Now what needed to change IMO are the titles. They need to be swapped. 1st movie is Rise. 2nd movie should be War. 3rd should be Dawn.

The avalanche took out the brunt of the remaining human forces, and while it's likely some survived, this isn't really significant. We know there are still humans scattered around anyway, but the avalanche and virus mutation mark the beginning of the end for humanity, or at least whatever remnants are left of modern civilization. UNNECESSARY SPOILER WARNING FOR THE 1968 FILM The original films are interesting because the main human characters were sent in a spacecraft (there's an Easter egg in the first film that mentions the Icarus takeoff on the TV) on a journey to another star, but upon an emergency return to Earth, they realize humanity has destroyed itself. The other great apes are now dominant over humans, who have returned to a much more primitive state. We basically skip all of the development that these films provide.

I feel like the ending for the movie can't resonate well with some people simply because they can fail to realize the movie's protagonist is strictly meant to be Caesar and with that in mind. Caesar's main goal has been to have apes become self-sustainable. This sort of creates a peace of mind effect or a "resolution" of sorts where the viewers are not left wondering or left questioning to what will happen to the apes. Thus concluding the chapter. In my opinion, it's solid all around. Similar to Carter, I never really cared for what happened to the humans as a whole.

Like any other war movies it is emotional to watch because all sides have something they fight for. Cannon was so bummed...lol If only Humans did not project so much (the whole "Intelligent animals are gonna take over and enslave Humans" idea) and accept their downfall. Just because Humans always want to be at the top of the chain and mistreat animals (and other humans they deem inferior), does not mean animals would do it. Well... I guess Koba and his followers prove me wrong haha but I wonder how things would actually go.

Personally I enjoyed the gek watch for the apes movies over Indiana, all great films, and the Indiana movies are classics no doubt. Y’all’s watch of the jones movies has been fun and there are goofy and wild moments, but as the previous apes movie showed; these movies are a lot more emotionally complex, there is no black and white, bad and good, and it’s far more interesting watching reactions to that, seeing who sides with who and how hard the death of a character hits, but both series have been peak, glad to see more content like this and excited for what you guys have in store for the future

Haven't watched this one yet (putting it off abit 😓) as it's still truly hard to get through, I've always been a huge lover of animals & much more sensitive to seeing them harmed than humans. That's just me in general with all animals, however, my boy Caesar💚 is a whole other level, it truly broke me down mentally & emotionally watching this movie. 😭💔 😭 💔😭 😭💔 U guys need to watch the next movie KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES.

I think you guys should watch Kingdom. It doesn’t have Caesar but I thought it was still a good movie and it presents such an interesting world where you still feel his influence and legacy many years later. I honestly thought the world building was great and so much more interesting than the first trilogy being so close to modern/current humanity

Definitely my least favorite of the three. But I do actually like how the human plot line and war stuff is in the background. Idk how to exactly put it into words. But it’s not movie about humans ya know? It’s not their story. It’s the Apes. So I like how it’s like there’s this background chaos of war and human extinction BUT that’s not the story being told. It could have been done better for sure, but I do really love the idea. An example would be howl’s moving castle. There’s this war and political stuff going on, but that’s not the story being told. It’s just a backdrop for the world the characters are in type of thing. I also like how there’s not 100% clarity about the mutation. We see with nova she loses her speech but she’s not like stupid or something. And maybe some people end up being worse than others? So there could be a very real threat of a large amount of the remaining population having extremely severe side effects while others don’t or even vice versa. And I think that’s kind of the point. I think it’s realistic in a way, some people would want to take extreme actions. And those actions would undoubtedly cause tension.
