I believe the idea that Nighteye's reluctance to use his quirk is because he doesn't really know how it works. It's possible that by looking into your future, he locks in whatever he sees. Maybe everyone has millions of potential futures, but once Nighteye looks into your future, you're locked on whatever path he saw. And if he sees death, is it Nighteye's fault that you die? Could you have lived if he hadn't used his quirk on you? Did he guarantee your death? So did he doom All Might to the future that he saw? Is it his fault that All Might will die? (I'm not caught up, I have no idea if All Might will die, in case it seems like I was talking about his death as a definitive)

It's like Schrodinger's cat. Basically as long as he doesn't open the box the cat is both alive and dead, but once you open and confirm it then that state of the cat is locked in. He doesn't want to use his quirk in case him seeing that seals their path and now they're definitively locked into that future. It's definitely a paradox because maybe you wouldn't have died if he didn't use his quirk on you, maybe using his quirk sent you on the path because you finding about your future changed your actions which then resulted into you dying. Definitely not so simple of a choice to make.

It's a bad take to not admit that the characters mature over time and naturally develop. Better developed characters are better. A better developed story is better. This part is fantastic, but it's delusional to think that different stages of any piece of media can't be compared to eachother. I didn't and won't expand upon all the collaborating factors so don't be weird and completely reduce what I've said to a single point and attack it. I was simply alluding to people glazing Hawks and informing those opinions a bit.

I didn't remember this season being so cinematic like some of these shots, the cutaways, the still frames, they look awesome. To be honest I remember enjoying this arc a lot but I've forgotten a lot of the in between stuff, I only really remember the big moments so this is shaping up to be a great rewatch for me.

DADZAWA ❤ I actually really love the contrast between All Might and Aizawa as teachers, because you would think All Might would be better at looking after kids compared to someone more aloof like Aizawa. And yet, Aizawa is the perfect balance of fond and stern, always looking after his kids (my guy almost died in season 1 trying to protect them) and reprimanding them when necessary. Also I forgot how good this arc actually was, it feels so exciting watching it with fresh eyes

Well it's good to know that I'm not the only one who hated whenever Rock Lock was talking in Ep 6 HAHAHA! From a first time watcher's perspective, he really does seem annoying and too condescending about the UA students being there. It's funny how differently I feel about him now JWHBHEJQB Also Overhaul is such an OP quirk. It's disgustingly useful in both good and bad ways. The end credit scene in Ep 6 hurts me so much. Eri probably hasn't felt any kindness since the beginning of her short life. Izuku being the personification of gentle kindness really gave her a small glimpse of what the world has to offer other than pain and suffering. I'm so excited for y'all to see the rest of the arc. You guys aren't ready for all your questions to be answered lmfao.

MHA watch order goes (ideally + reasons): Season 4 -> Season 5 (Ep 1 to 12) Movie 2: Heroes Rising Season 5 (Ep 13 to 25) -> Movie 3: World Heroes' Mission Season 6 -> Season 7 (Ep 1-4) -> Movie 4: You're Next Season 7 (Ep 5-21) Something to note is that Studio Bones messed up the order of the arcs in the second half of S5. So originally, the last two arcs should have been in the opposite order from what is presented in the anime. Just for you guys to know, movie 2's events are supposed to happen after the last arc in S5 (which was supposed to come before the second arc of S5). And they explained my favorite quirk in the series: Overhaul. It is such a strong and versatile quirk. Being able to essentially repair everything and being able to heal any sickness by destroying the body and rebuilding it without that sickness is so useful.

They said he can activate his foresight quirk on one person but it will only work for an hour. He can see immediate future or distant future. But the farther ahead he goes, the less accurate what he's seeing is. Or something like that

He could always see years into the future - he stopped doing it because seeing All Might die was too traumatic for him. He can only see into the future for the period of one hour, but that doesn't mean he can only look 1 hour into the future or anything.

MHA pacing is so great, we have enough to feel like it's real life, build characters, feel anticipation, and then have the fights. MHA fights mean so much because of it, we're not to my favorite season yet but this one is really good too

I joined the anime tier now bcs you're getting to my favorite arcs in MHA SJSJSJ. so now I'm here for the glory and mha. Kirishima and Bakugo are my favorite kids!!! Endeavor and the now mentioned Hawks are my favorite adults. They're just great.
