I love how complex Yeo-jeong's story is and how he's more than what appears to be. There's a much darker undertone to him due to his past trauma. He's not just a golden retreiver with a heart of gold but it is actually a rottweiler on his own vengeance arc to seek justice like our girl Moon. They both have their own trauma and scars in their hearts.

At least that's my interpretation of it because he says "if you collapse again, call me, I know what it's like". Also, her button did actually fall off when she was trying to get her phone and I think it added more fuel to her breakdown because she needed it to cover her scars. And I think you guys definitely have some setting turned on in your TV audio or whatever you watch it on because the music is also very low compared to how loud it usually is. I think you have a dialogue mode on or something like that. The dialogue that cuts off seems to be mainly the stuff that's ADR-ed. The person yelling at the door to Sa-ra and Hye-jeong at Myeong-o's place was his landlady btw. No one we know.

It starts with apology, asking whether Joo is fine, and explaining his circumstances very politely. So the person who reviews the letters, must have overlooked the other pages. From the next page, he describes the killing scene so vividly and how he felt at that moment in very detail.

I do believe he was telling the truth there - he never really respected Yeonjin as a person, partly because she didn’t really respect herself in this marriage. She put herself on the shelf like a good piece of merchandise and he thought she was worth the price. That’s their marriage - a transaction. I think it’s also due to the way his mother raised him. In his world he is better than everybody else and he has accepted it as a fact. That scene with the driver shows it: he gets taken aback and annoyed when his driver prioritizes a bottle of good wine over his convenience. Dong-eun only intrigued him because he basically could not find himself better than her in anyway. She beat him at Go. She gave him all the wild answers he never expected. She doesn’t give two cents about his status or money, etc. But I also don’t think that is enough to steer him away from what he’s known all his life.
