Ain't no way I get here the second you guys just upload this, just made my night

Noelle

YEEEEES!!!!!

TheHollanLegacy

This man and his karambit during the intros. That thing is your fidget spinner 🤣🤣

Alan

I kinda wish they did a more dramatic song for Dabi’s dance, it’s still great but imagine they had a specified dramatic orchestra? *chefs kiss*

Arctic_stark

Stranger things Season 1 Finale and MHA S06E11. This day will be long remembered in Gek history.

Tbh, most people knew Dabi was Toya before the reveal due to how much time we had to cook up theories while waiting for the reveal.

12:45 Jack finally has a win after someone said his takes were 1% last video😭 I actually think he's pretty sharp on MHA but it made me laugh sm

Alan

I am SO GLAD. That you guys didn’t see the reveal coming either because I didn’t on my first watch. Like to some reactors it’s a no duh but finding out on the reveal is so much better

Chlo

FUCK YEAAAAA !!!!

AJCoCoQueen

All I gotta say is YEP. And KEEP your seatbelts on cuz… WE NOT DONE YET

Justin ⟢

Dynamight is such a fitting hero name for Bakugo. It's literally perfect.

victoria t

Eri’s quirk is limited by the amount of power stored in her horn, and we don’t know how much she had to use to fix Lemillion, but it was probably a lot

stako

Fun Fact that will be repeated 100 times: The first time you see Dabi is him outside a Hair Salon, buying black hair dye. So this is one of many twists that were cooking from the very beginning. Horikoshi is a genius.

Belly

you mean black

Belly

dynamite + all might = dynamight

Elina

I need you guys to understand the absolute MAYHEM that occurred when the chapter for dabi's dance came out in the manga. We had been theorizing for SO LONG and that scene where dabi and hawks are fighting when hawks asks who he is it was just a blacked out speech bubble (where his mouth moved but you don't hear what he says) and finally getting the confirmation was unreal. It honestly started as like an "oh ha ha what if dabi is touya" but as the manga kept going there were more and more hints and man the fandom LOST it when this chapter came out. Hyped that we get to see you guys react to the reveal for the first time.

vayadore

LETS GOOOOOOO

Kinx

I for sure thought Jack would figure it out way sooner…

maria⁷

i was unfortunately spoiled about toya on my watch but i remember still getting full body chills watching the reveal

Danny C

Here we fckn go boys!!!! Predicting McKay is gunna lose his mind

Tivy

THE REVEAL IS HERE

Tivy

I just know McKay is the happiest person alive rn for the Lemillion comeback

Silentwtf

back to back to back to back reveals. the reactions are amazing lmao

Kinx

When I noticed Dabi had the same eye colors as Endeavor and Shoto (back in season 3), I was like “Wait… something is going on here”.

86 LilaS

Shoto literally carrying the entire team

Cannon Andrus

I still don’t know how we didn’t catch this in 6 seasons 🤦🏻

Jasmin☆

this episode always hits

Lettuce

McKays face and Jack freaking out when Toya was revealed made this whole wait so freaking worth it thank you guys. we appreciate all of you and I hope that all our hype today just shows how excited we were to see your guys genuine reactions to this story

JevCor

POWERRRRRRRRRR

Jasmin☆

i always tear up in this episode the reveal, endeavors panic attack, todoroki crying and ready to fight while trying to yell at his dad to get his shit together every thing is just to peak 😭

Lauryn

Whew glad y’all dropped the reaction, you had people writing poems and soliloquies just itching in the previous mha comment section😂😂😂😂😂😂

Chosos Wife

I'm so glad none of you had a clue. So many reactors ive seen had already been spoiled or had somehow figured it out. Mckay said "Are we all just stupid?" Honestly if I hadn't been spoiled on socials I never would have guessed either. Concerning the backstory of the Todorokis, there is another proper in depth backstory episode at some point so dont worry.

Caraxes🐐DT

The blue fire is not the mix of the quirks from the parents it’s just because it’s so hot..also idk why but I always thought McKay prolly knew about Dabi lol glad he didn’t tho

Tyler Owens

Best Jeanist is even cooler when you realize he’s named after an actual Japanese fashion award given each year to the celebrity who “best embodies the spirit of denim” and in 2024, the character from MHA actually won the real life award.

Elle B.

I knew your reactions to the Dabi/Toya reveal would be amazing! I’m so glad you weren’t spoiled. The Todoroki family lore is some of the best in shonen. Also MHA has an incredible ensemble of unique and memorable characters. I’m glad you all appreciate it!

JevCor

I'm so glad you didn't! I got spoiled by clicking on a random reddit post and it was so frustrating, I'm glad people kept it under wraps.

Chosos Wife

Mckay is so hyped he's even got the Lemillion profile pic omg 🤣🤣♥️

Justin Drake

Longtime viewer, first time commenter because this moment is one of my favorites in the show. I had the same reaction to Dabi's reveal and asked myself the same questions. And the show skyrockets emotionally from this point on. Buckle up yall.

Ashlee

The Dabi and Lemillion reaction didn't disappoint !!!! 🔥🔥🔥 TOP TEIR EPS HANDS DOWN 🙌🏾 Even though I was spoiled about Dabi because of Manga spoilers that ep STILL had me shook because I had no idea exactly how it was gonna be revealed so when he popped up on the television broadcasting to everyone my jaw DROPPED not to mentionthe voice actor absolutely killed it with that crazy performance. The English voice actor also did an AMAZING job this ep i would highly recommend yall react to that scene in Eng Dub when you get a chance 🙏🏾 Also the lemillion come back !!!!!! One of the most epic returns in anime 🥹

cozo

one of the best batches in mha yet holy PEAK

humbleandkindness

Can’t fully see it but the new cut looks good so far cannon ✊🏽

Mezmeru

omg just finished the Stranger Things drop and got surprised by this great gift

Alex Ramirez

39:51 Shoto asked Dabi/Toya if he was crazy and Dabi said yes. He's got screws loose.

Miguel

Mckay's little face even before they showed the cape made the wait worth it, such cool episodes

patricia jimjimcherie

23:47 I still have no idea how you guys, especially Jack who is fantastic at calling things, missed this one thing. When I was watching MHA for the first time before I started the manga, as soon as I saw Dabi's powers and how he called Shoto by name and wanted to attack him, I knew he was related to them. Then when the Toya crumbles started I just knew Dabi was Toya. I still hate his ass, no matter his past, I just find him insuferable. Also, couple eps ago the flashback of Hawks as a kid, he says "can I be like him who saved me?" because Endeavor caught his dad, in fact, I belive this was mentioned previously so the first time Dabi mentioned Hawks' name (which he doesn't use, he just goes by Hawks and not his name), I remembered that shot from last season where its briefly shown Endeavor catching the criminal Takami. Dabi even has Endeavor's eyes.

stako

im surprised it wasnt spoiled either. this reveal broke the internet

Tivy

This is random, but I love how much you guys appreciate Froppy. She gets so much hate over that one crying scene, but y’all always hype up her strengths and genuinely root for her!

Ashlee

😂😂😂💀💀

Cara🤎

Jeanist standin on big business yuhh👖💪🏽

Northie

there's ONE singular scene where Endeavor uses blue flames, and it was in season 2 during the Hero Killer arc when the nomu's were attacking the city, and I was watching like 👀 hoping the Geks wouldn't connect the dots when we saw Dabi's blue flames in s3

Tivy

NONE OF YOU EXPECTED THE REVEAL! I’m so glad. You guys always cook with the predictions, but missing this one makes your reactions even more satisfying!

Cat

few staples loose too

kai

you wouldn’t catch this on 1st watch and if ppl tell you they did they lyin cause its little hints they drop that show the connection

Lorelei

If I remember correctly this reveal came out around the same time Biden became president & Dabi literally out trended him on twitter💀

Tyler Owens

DynaMight is a goated name, idgaf what anyone says. Both a reference to the explosive AND an homage to All Might? Cmonnnn

kai

dabi-toya reveal and two of my goats (jeanist/lemillion) came back yea I LOVE IT HERE

Carl

Powerrrrrr!!!!!!

Nanami's Wife

I'm so glad that you guys never thought of Dabi being Toya because yalls reaction was priceless 😂. I remember I had a theory of Dabi being Toya way back around season 3 I think. As a longtime watcher too, the whole fandom was theorizing abt it for so long, so most of us knew Dabi could've been Toya. But the reveal for Dabi was still so good and SOOO BIG, man everyone was talking abt it at the time. Also Shoto calling Endeavor "Dad" for the first time in this episode and trying to encourage him to get up while Endeavor was having a panic attack made me cry😔

rue

i think this twist is a great example of how despite some of the audience guessing it, it can still be surprising. like i don’t think anyone expected it to be revealed via a callout livestream while dabi did a tiktok dance 🤣

Ana

I’m so happy yall didn’t. Made the reveal so much better. This community is goated for not spoiling it either

bondbond53

Dabi/Toya - Shoto Azula - Zuko blue flame - red flame peak sibling rivalry

Cat

Deku's just the todoroki family therapist at this point

Alex Ramirez

Honestly, the Dabi hints didn't begin until season 2 with Todoroki's backstory and there being a sibling of his we only get to see from the back of their head. If you watched or read MHA before season 5 then you would most likely already had a huge suspicion he was Toya. Binging all 7 seasons definitely helped you guys being blindsided haha.

~Mercedeez Lee~

I am so glad they didn’t get spoiled. I remember being mad that I got spoiled thanks to the usual suspects, manga readers & it was a week before the episode aired cause everyone was hyping it up at the time. The Dabi/Toya reveal always hits though, Todoroki family dynamic is one of the best plot lines in series, then Best Jeanist and Lemillion returning to action. Everything about season 6 ( even the second half ) is top tier stuff and it really does confuse me too on why it gets so much hate. I will never understand it

All might

made me laugh when he tried to pull the 'it's your quirk not his!' again and Dabi is like duhh

McKay Carter

The goat is finally back 🙏

Yam

PEAKKKK

McKay Carter

I’m shocked we’ve never seen or heard about it before, it’s such a crazy reveal. Everyone did a great job of keeping quiet about it!

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

Funny but a fan theory back when we were as early as season 3 in the manga, was that Dabi was probably a lost son of Endeavor’s. So every time he would show up, I’d just obsess over that possibility. Plus I’m just such a sucker for family dynamics in fiction that Dabi just became a character I was looking forward to seeing because of it, so everything I saw was a hint that confirmed it for me. The reveal was all the more sweeter for me because the culmination alone made me yearn for it to be true. As sick as he is, I just love how insane he is. He was literally laughing his ass out after he burned someone and went “Endeavor!! Look at what you just did!!” 😭🤣 His insanity is fascinating to watch. He’s an absolute top 10 MHA character for me. Also this reminded me of Carlie from Carlie&Ange going “I can fix him” as soon as this was revealed 😂

Tivy

LOVE THE PFP

Elina

Also I love Bakugos hero name Dynamight instead of Dynamite. Like at the end of the day he's still just an All Might fan boy.

All might

this episode marked the death of Ground Zero and birth of DynaMight

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

Yeah one of my favorite thorns about his name is having the flashback where BJ tells him a hero name is a wish of how you want to be and how you should be. Then he comes up with Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight. It felt just right, with the small tribute to All Might there at the end.

All might

the Todoroki drama is like one of the best aspects of the show

botanbutton

🙌🏾 MHA fandom really wanted y'all to enjoy each moment. I get how Eri is a plot hole but at the same time, if you think about the story, like Carter was saying, nobody in UA is gonna make her use her powers. They'd sort of be no better than Overhaul. They're not gonna make this little baby (she can't be older than 8) do all this and that because they said so. Furthermore, her power takes time to stack which Monoma clued us in on in season 5. Her little horn is the tell and it will take a lot of time for her to figure out how much power to use for different rewinds if that makes sense.

Swish Mix Productions

I was more hyped for McKay's reaction to Mirio than the Dabi reveal lmao

bondbond53

Dabi's VA giving that Connie killing Daz and Samuel performance

cara

god these episodes have so much peak. my goat best jeanist, dabi reveal, lemillion comeback, bakugo hero name reveal, blackwhip froppy style😭 reactions were so good to every moment. losing these episodes from the binge was a little funny because you really did all the depression and none of the hope and W’s, but this is such a great drop of eps by themselves yeah im watching this ten more times before wednesday drop🙂‍↕️

Lexzc

Not only was Dabi's identiy foreshadowed at the end of season one,but the way he acts whenever Endeavor and Shoto are involved (season 3 and season 4) were a tell tale sign, also season's 5 second ending that coincidentally takes place during Endeavor internship features Dabi a lot despite him not being part of the arc and not being too important on the my villain academia arc, also, the opening and ending of season 6 too give heavy hints at Dabi being Toya, but since you never watch those you couldnt connect the dots. Another character's backstory that was briefly foreshadowed was Mr.Compress a couple seasons ago alongside Destro's and the liberation army, back in season 4 during Gentle's arc. Also this arc's opening is not as happy as it might sound like, its a banger for sure and the artstyle is dope, sadly you guys only watch openings once and at the end of the year, wish you stopped doing that and started watching them at the end of whatever arc you are on since you thend to miss a lot of stuff relevant to what you are currently watching.

Chosos Wife

Now I patiently await the Dabi backstory episode 🔥🩵💙

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

It’s the way he called out Shoto that always stood out to me. Especially when they went training in the forest. So odd to me, for me it was almost an instant confirmation that he just might be related

bondbond53

Fun Fact: When the Dabi reveal chapter got released in the manga it was trending more than the 2020 US Election on Twitter

alexis ♡︎

toga has a lot of stans cus she’s.. very cute 🙂‍↕️

All might

exactly so its rlly not a plot hole

ginabella

I've been waiting for this

humbleandkindness

27:07 That damn opening theme makes me laugh every time because of the contrast,, the next tho? Personal favorite of the entire series

2danimehoe

It's 5:30 in the morning I WAS WAITING FOR THI!!!

alexis ♡︎

also her song on tiktok (iykyk) is CONSTANTLY stuck in my head 😵‍💫 unfortunate..

Swish Mix Productions

its looking like their probably gonna binge the last 10/15 episodes, which if you thought this binge was peak.... Although, I lowkey think y'all should binge anything before the last 13 episodes of season 7 and just do regular drops for those because they lowkey deserve their own time.

Nrock23

Bro Dabi's VA is so good. He is amazing in every show he's in, I will never forget connie's screams from AOT. Gives me goosebumps thinking about it

cozo

those were the people stanning her in season 3 and 4 maybe but there's definitely more reasons to like her as a character

cara

love that you were the only one to start clocking it was him in the wide shot and then lost it at the cape 😭 this is why i knew you couldn't miss these ones LMAO

JulioLG

it's just too fn good!

Darion Elifritz

I second this. Jason Liebrecht is an insane English Toya/Dabi. I love how he actually makes the character sound like he is slowly burning from the inside out. Which he is. lol. excellent English voice acting. To be fair I know its not a common sentiment but I also prefer Patrick Sietz as Endeavor/Enji over the Japanese VA. But they both so an amazing job.

freecostco

love it when you guys are so immersed you forget to close your mouths lmao also so glad Cannon mentioned Dabi's voice acting. could not picture a better depiction of the high dabi's on after being able to reveal what he'd been keeping secret for that very moment. what a great upload. thanks for making my day guys

JulioLG

crazy fact!

Jess

Broke the sound barrier a few times and my eardrums (HAHAHA what a good watch)

bondbond53

"Endeavour... YOU ARE THE FATHER"

Leealien

dabi laughing in dekus face when he says the "its your quirk not his" phrase LMAO

Kevin

If you didn’t realize it.. so there was a major Easter egg during season 2.. in the Camino fight endeavor burned a nomu’s head and his flames turned blue since he shot his flames so hot they changed temps!

MistyKahn

When the league takes Bakugo in season 3, the way Dabi says Shotos full name after beating him by grabbing the marble with Bakugo is in such a big brother condescending way. I love the little foreshadow things in this show.

Tyler

It’s never mentioned in the anime but Geten (ice guy in the liberation army) is Shoto’s cousin from Rei’s side of the family

Jess

The Tododroki family has undeniably one of the best plots in this show

patricia jimjimcherie

The Lemillion comeback always makes me tear up, he's so good. Also Best Jeanist jumping off the jet is so freaking cool.

Tivy

Shoutout to the Todoroki family for being one of the most compelling and emotionally layered subplots in MHA. Every reveal with them adds so much depth to the story.

isa

I didn’t even remember what these episodes were, perfect rewatch!!

Swish Mix Productions

and when Dabi said Enji Todoroki in the first episode of s5 after he just fought the nomu

JulioLG

second half getting hate? really? I guess trolls are just bored and start rage baiting whatever they can. The story from season 6 and on is non stop peak.

alexis ♡︎

oh yeah ik i was just tryna be punny 😭

Knoebility

There's one scene in season 2 (E30 "Climax", minute 14) where Endeavor grabs a Nomu's head, and cooks it with blue fire. He also uses some blue fire against the high end Nomu "Hood" in the epic finale of S4. So there were some hints.

botanbutton

And that's right! Put RESPECT on his name! WHAT IT IS???! 😤 BEST JEANIST 👖✨️ Literally had to take him out the story early enough (using the big bad no less!) since he can just choke everyone out with their clothes. Give him his flowers!!! 👖✨️💐

Robert L

Lmao dabi being toya was so obvious and so widely accepted back in the day to the point of it not even being considered a theory. Ppl figured it out so early speculations began to suspect author would retcon his original idea just to spite the fans

wadad sk

I'm actually so glad none of you guys guessed that dabi was toya or got spoiled abt it, it made it so much more fun to watch. I remember how even before it was revealed that dabi is toya, the fandom collectively already knew it was him so no one was super surprised lol there was too much time for everyone to analyze and cook up theories on him, anyways im SOOO excited. The todoroki family lore gets deeper, it's one of my fav parts of mha.

Keonna Taylor

Finally, I can update my profile pic 🥲

botanbutton

Them Zenitsu frequencies were coming through 🤭😂

Tina L

I hope it goes without saying, but RIP headphones users. But don't worry, even if you forget, they will have recovered by Wednesday. Epic episodes. Epic reaction.

bondbond53

Dabi's that Deku hater the geks keep hearing about lmao

JulioLG

yeah the only weak point of the otherwise goated binge was that it leaves no time for proper outros for peak episodes.. any way would be great though!

Keonna Taylor

There were so many times I thought you guys would figure out the reveal but you didn’t (which is fine) as a manga reader we were speculating since Dabi’s first appearance

Tivy

I’m actually glad that it took Eri so long to reverse Lemillion. It makes the timeline of her learning to control her quirk feel way more realistic, and it makes his comeback so much more epic. If she had just started reversing people right away, it would’ve gone against everything we learned in the Overhaul arc. She would’ve ended up being used for her quirk again, which is exactly what caused her trauma. This way she was given time to be treated and live like a human being, and when she finally made the choice, it was out of her own autonomy to save someone she really cares about.

2danimehoe

I have to say that the only thing the whole mha fandom had agreed from the beginning was the theory that Dabi was Touya 😆 I actually can't believe that you guys didn't have the slightest clue, but I'm so glad you didn't realize it lmao!!! Y'all are in for a treat

Dakota

Mannnn, I got chills through my whole body on the reveal. I knew it was coming and it still hit me. And I totally forgot about Lemillion coming back :') Idk how I blanked on that but I did. 2 of the best episodes. POWERRRR!!!!

humbleandkindness

Plus, even if she did heal All Might, the fact that OFA is a sentient quirk that gets passed down through time from person to person probably means that it wouldn’t come back. Big Might would def make a return, but he would probably be at a fraction of Golden Age or even Silver Age All Might, with only (lol, “only”) the physical strength he has in that body

Ana

Great episodes but 13 would of really set these episodes off. It’s hurt just waiting for one day lol But great reaction these two episodes were insane. Dabi’s dance is so good. Shoto finally calling endeavor dad and pleading for him to leave. MHA is best at giving you the feels When you rewatch the clues will definitely show dabi always called shoto and endeavor out. Poor little shoto Todoroki Lemillion and best jeanist are back in the game. I can’t wait for the next episode all I can say is my man my man my man 😩😭😭

Tina L

As an anime only, who plans to read the manga after season 8 airs, I don't know if it exists, but I am a little bummed that we didn't get a reaction from Deku about Bakugou's hero name reveal. You'd think as the MMC and the biggest All Might and Bakugou fan, we would have gotten one from Deku. It's okay, the LeMililon response was really good.

I’m Tired

Guys I’m still at the theaters I’m so late to the party 😭

april 🍏

I also felt stupid for not guessing this twist lmao. But you just get so used to seeing Dabi that some of us just never even consider it. But then you see the hair.. and then freaking EYES. Ya, he's a Todoroki. Trauma and all.

kai

best jeanist hive stand up 🙌🏽

bondbond53

Fun fact: Hiro Shimono (Dabi and Connie’s VA) and Yuki Kaji (Todoroki and Eren’s) are really good and close friends irl

humbleandkindness

I feel like Midoriya meant that in a different way than Dabi understood it, or the way midoriya first said it to Shoto. To me anyways, this one felt more like, “you can’t make him responsible for YOUR choices. He chose to be a terrible person, and now he’s choosing to do/go through whatever is necessary to take accountability for it, whether or not forgiveness is given. You reap what YOU sow, too.”

Swish Mix Productions

looking at the slots now, they're gonna give us a bunch of big drops or probably split s7 into 2 binges. Anyway we're about to be fed, no matter what they do.

86 LilaS

“You’re not Endeavor!” “It’s your quirk, isn’t it?” Season 2 call back hits so hard on this, especially with the complete 180 on the circumstances. Shoto was rejecting his blood while Dabi fully leans into it.

Tivy

Bro I’m now realizing how many voice actors overlap between MHA and AOT. I did some research and here’s a list.. Japanese: (AOT/MHA) - Eren Yeager / Shoto Todoroki - Armin Arlert / Momo Yaoyorozu - Gabi Braun / Ochaco Uraraka - Connie Springer / Dabi - Reiner Braun / Fumikage Tokoyami - Porco Galliard / Eijiro Kirishima - Young Zeke Yeager / Izuku Midoriya - Floch Foster / Shirakumo - Mike Zacharias / All Might - Hannes / Overhaul English: (AOT/MHA) - Bertholdt Hoover / Shoto Todoroki - Connie Springer / Katsuki Bakugo - Eren Yeager / Yo Shindo - Kitz Woermann / All Might

cozo

well he was introduced in the end of season 2 basically early season 3 so only 3 seasons

All might

They don’t need this comment

april 🍏

prominence burn is so disrespectful bro

cozo

plus one piece has a streak of like 10 episodes all rated 9 with a 9.7, and mha will only cook more in coming weeks

humbleandkindness

I do think it lends to the whole “yeah that guy is Crazy” angle though. Like dancing to no music is already brave, but doing so after revealing you’re not actually dead to the family members you want to kill in the middle of one of the biggest battles in history while ALSO putting one of them on blast to the entire world is sooooooo next level get-back, you can’t be sane to even think of that, let alone EXECUTE it so well that your own allies had no clue

kai

everybody looking beat tf up and you got dabi just dancing on machia spilling the tea 😹

humbleandkindness

Fr,, reminded of the time I learned that fire turns blue when salt is added to it (specifically copper salt I think),, Dabi is so salty he’s ready to poke at Endeavor in any and all ways

86 LilaS

Literally every time there was a closeup of Dabi’s face I was praying for you guys not to notice his eyes

humbleandkindness

I do believe I saw Cannon tear up at Lemillion’s return,, perfectly valid reaction king, very understandable

Kevin

And also W CHAT for keeping them off the scent of Dabi’s identity! We really did that!! 🤝

rue

my personal fave subtle hint is dabi doing the frankenstein’s monster pose the first time he faced endeavor. i love that panel sm

Vextipher

Dynamight is such a fantastic name for Bakugo. Explosive them and 'might' together, very fitting for his character.

akirasuzuki

Yall said a few eps ago about wanting to know more about Dabi and now here we are 😭 i love the reaction ppl have to anything related to the Todoroki backstory 😂 We went from Shigaraki finally getting weak, to Dabi reveal, to Best jeanist reveal, to Lemillion reveal, to Bakugo's hero name and now soon.. Mr. Compress 😂

Kevin

I just remembered another cool little Easter egg, the first time we saw Dabi was outside of a hair salon, where he died his hair black I’m assuming and kept a bottle of hydrogen peroxide to get rid of the dye!

Half_-Face

While yes before Jeanist never cooked hard I feel like the Geks forgot that he is literally the Nr 3 ranked hero. He is a menace Also please guys think about putting a limiter on the volume levels. I get jump scared every time Jack or Carter turn into Present Mic

humbleandkindness

What I want to know, though, is how Dabi wasn’t butt naked on that battlefield after like .2 seconds. Like I assume making clothing to not be affected by your quirk is mad expensive, so like. Who did he blackmail/kill for that jacket

Tivy

Dynamight is such a perfect hero name for Bakugo. The “might” instead of “mite” ties back to All Might so well. I love how bro is a fanboy in disguise lmao

2danimehoe

I can finally tell you why Dynamite by BTS is relevant here...THE EDITS!! Dynamight's edits with that song and T.N.T are GOATED!! GREAT EXPLOSION MURDER GOD DYNAMIGHT, NO ONE IS READY FOR YOUUUUU 🧡💥💥💥💥

Alanin_8💜

So when Dabi's Dance happened in the manga, the chapter out trended the U.S. elections! The manga leaks was number one trending everywhere when it dropped

Alanin_8💜

Seeing y'all go crazy over Lemillion's comeback was so hype!!! 🔥

2danimehoe

Also the most popular take for Kacchan's hero name from the fans was Ground Zero, which I personally loved, but Dynamight is so him because he is also a big nerd at the end of the day 😆😆💥🧡

humbleandkindness

38:51 fyi that was a shoutout to Sir Nighteye, I believe that was his motto,, just another way that everyone’s individual actions collectively put together affect this story

2danimehoe

Totally worth the wait 🙂‍↕️

2danimehoe

No spoil but he just didn't hear him unfortunately 😅😆

2danimehoe

You're goated for that 😂🧡🧡

~Mercedeez Lee~

Sorry I mean MHA as a whole gets hated on, most people that hate on it don’t even make it to season 6 honestly speaking. They normally drop it around season 4 or 5 and then assume the series goes downhill after the overhaul arc. Which is still crazy

Night Sterling

I mean like he said flame quirks are a dime a dozen so probably not too hard to find flame resistant gear

Tina L

Oh, yeah, he was in a lot of pain and not nearby, huh? 😭😭😭 Thank you

Night Sterling

Dabi got his moment and then proceeded to immediately want to nuke himself and everyone around him 😂

Kasumii_

I'm trying to eat while watching this but my hands are literally shaking, my heart's racing, I've been waiting for this reveal literally since you's started MHA, one of my favourite episodes in the show and the episode that put Dabi in my top 3 favourite characters in the show. Also I wouldn't beat yourselves up too bad over not noticing it, I remember when I watched this live not only was I shook but the Reddit/Twitter discussions were going insane over it, a lot of people didn't put it together, ofc there is those that did, I'm pretty sure there were theories about it before it was even revealed in the manga but aye, not all of us have Nighteye's foresight lol I don't want to yap too much but I HAVE to glaze Shimono Hiro, Dabi's VA , can you believe this is the same guy who voiced Zenitsu? Just the pure hatred and spite you can hear in every single word, it genuinely blows me away that someone can put that much emotion into voicing a damn anime character, the way VAs can put themselves in the mind of their character and feel the emotions their character feels, I can't even put into words how amazing that is to me, I've heard that his VA literally hurt his throat from how much energy he put into voice acting Dabi, that's dedication to the craft I had to take my headphones off when I knew Lemillion was coming, I knew the sound barrier was about to be broken, that's the energy we love though Oh also also, the hints towards Toya throughout the show go insane on a rewatch, moments like when Bakugo gets kidnapped at the summer camp and Dabi is the one to snatch the marble away from Shoto as he says "that's sad... Todoroki... Shoto" and when he goes to recover the Nomu from the Endeavour fight he yells "Don't you dare die, Todoroki Enji!", like he acts so out of character whenever it comes to the Todoroki family So much for not yapping lol

ge_minight

I was so worried when Dabi was fighting the Ice guy in s5 and Jack was like "is he Touya" lol I thought he was talking about Dabi goshhh

지원

so good

Mamox

Major spoilers to the above reaction below for anyone who hasn't watched: to comment on why no one talks about this twist or it isn't this pop-culture defining major reveal, I think its because the reveal played out differently in live-time for the community following the manga. You guys binged the show, so the perspective and it being more surprising ends up making a lot of sense and being an enjoyable twist - but from the perspective of weekly releases over years, the fanbase with all the time to analyze and review + two versions to compare (manga and anime) it became a major theory in the community pretty early on. People were talking about Dabi being Toya for literally years before the actual reveal, since nearly his debut in the manga. So it ended being more of an epic confirmation to the reigning major theory, rather than this giant twist no one expected.

humbleandkindness

That makes sense, but for flames that are stronger, and most likely Hotter, than Endeavor’s? Had to have been at least a small fortune

2danimehoe

No worries 😊 you said you will after season 8 and I strongly advise you to read the manga!! I'm sure you'll love it and there are some details that are not in the anime and maybe they won't put on the future episodes, that you should definitely see🤭

Tina L

Im super excited to discover what you could mean. Thank you for the encouragement!

WastedxHooligan

Idk if you guys know that the doctor is the same doctor that told deku he would never have a super power

ge_minight

Oh yeah, and Bakugou's hero name, Dynamight is literally from Allmight if you haven't noticed yet

Matt C

S7 is so close 😈

Caraxes🐐DT

Dabi blaming endeavor for hurting hado was just basically meaning he made him this way…if not he wouldn’t have done all the bs he did. Funny cannon was just talking about another big villain not knowing one with crazy power was right there.

goblin.bones

I am so so glad this wasn't spoiled for yall. Even having a hunch about who Dabi was it still made for an INSANE reveal, but I'm so happy you got to experience that build up lol. There were a few VERY subtle hints sprinkled through out (aside from the eyes and fire), but Horikoshi did an insane job with it! And then Lemillion in the next episode! His motto, by the way, is from Nighteye. <3 Can't wait for the second half of the season!!

Belen Anh

Before the reveal, fans had the theory that Dabi was Touya because of his flames it was one of the biggest theories. I remember my brother and I talking about it in Season 2 🤭

IQLou

I have a S7 one that I can't wait to use

Lil Mimi

That’s so cool

Lil Mimi

Connie is Dabi what a huge twist

Lil Mimi

Wait what damn

IQLou

Another incredible drop from you guys. This season won't let up either. I'm literally excited for every single drop moving forward 🔥🔥

katsuki’s wife

Can’t watch cause I’m at work rn 😓😓😓

M1GZ

he got Edna to make him his drip he's good

M1GZ

delete this bro

goblin.bones

man, the huge feeling of victory when it canonized, too!

Connor O'Hara

Your reactions to the Dabi twist were insane lmao I love that moment so much

Arctic_stark

Dabi's voice actor just goes crazy from here on out. I don't know if I have seen insanity portrayed so well in an anime, Dabi is just unhinged. If you watch the show from the beginning again its like he is two different characters, he was really restraining himself until now.

Hafsa

SAME UGH

Seda

so happy you got to experience the dabi reveal blind, i feel like it’s incredibly lucky you never saw or thought of dabi/toya being a thing. like before it was even confirmed, dabi being toya was such a popular fan theory that it was basically pre-accepted as canon and when the reveal actually happened in the manga, people freaked so much the reveal literally out-trended the 2020 US presidential election results that had come out at the same time

Kinx

- Hitch / Midnight & kid Deku - Marcel Galliard / Kamui Woods - Keith Shadis / Mr. Compress Oh and Kurogiri has 2 VAs, 1 for Shirakumo and 1 for Kurogiri. And the VA for Floch actually voices Shirakumo and not Kurogiri. The guy that Gabi shoots, to get in the airship, is the VA of Kurogiri. (His name was Lobov)

StrayRonin

Waittt how did I not notice that 😭

Ana

What the next kdrama you will watching??

Tivy

Ohhh okay interesting! Thanks for pointing out these additional ones. I will make the Shirakumo correction rn— although they’re the same person I didn’t know they had different VAs haha

katsuki’s wife

Great explosion murder god dynamight 😂 At the end of the day he’s just a child 😭 I love him

Kyle

had this reveal spoiled for me when I first watched😭 glad y'all got to be surprised 🙏🙏🙏

H.Henituse

Dabi voice actor same with zenitsu btw (I'm shocked, dude was such a funny and sunshine too irl😭)

Jamin

Holy W community for not spoiling

katsuki’s wife

at this point just the whole show till the end is amazing

JulioLG

You're right guys you HAVE to cook, and we are ready!!

Shroomy

I think he also voices Connie from aot as well. Amazing va

Vernus

It is crazy yall never even had a passing thought that Dabi was related to Endeavor. I felt so validated when I saw this episode but to be fair I had been watching since season 2 so I had years of rewatches to think about it

Animeke

Toya reveal + Lemillion return = peak

Philbo

i wasnt spoiled when they aired this episode but i thought the toya reveal was lowkey underwhelming cause i thought it was so obvious. cause i think it was last season when they had that Todoroki family episode and they revealed toya's shrine. i immediately knew that was dabi... like you dont just randomly introduce a "Dead" BROTHER so dramatically at the end of an episode for no reason and there was already so much speculation about Dabi because of his quirk. idk maybe it was just me

cozo

btw the very first time you see dabi when he meets shigaraki (i think at the end of season 2) shigaraki asks his name and he doesn't give his name despite everyone else doing so, foreshadowing is unreal icl

cozo

nah when they get loud that's how u know its hype, unless they were just screaming 24/7 lmao

Safaricat

I would like to take this moment to let Cannon know the reason I love Dabi is not cause of this, it's because we share the same birthday this was the icing on the cake. That's the sort of petty type of revenge I think of, that reckless no longer angry just dancing and enjoying life while laughing in someone's face. I love my birthday twin he's like the pillar of the league he wrangles them all in and is trusted even Shigaraki doesn't care if Dabi does his side missions cause he knows it won't get out of control.

Albin Limani

This is easily Hiro Shimono's best performance, by far.

Alex

I love Deku and All Might's story but it's such a testament to Horikoshi that he manages to make so many side character's stories have so much weight and importance. Honestly the most interesting part of MHA for me is Endeavour and the Todoroki family. Plus Bakugo's development over the whole show, Hawk's story, Lemillion's and even Twice's story etc are all amazing too. MHA could have quite easily just become the Deku and All Might show but Horikoshi is a chef fr.

Albin Limani

There are more, maybe the 2 biggest VAs in AOT, apart from Yuki Kaji, have not shown up yet in MHA.

Daniella

Knowing how attentive you guys are (eren can see the future guess in season 1 of aot😭) i was so worried you guys would theorise Dabi was Endeavour’s son especially when they blurred out his name to Hawks and the mystery behind “Touya’s death” but you were all so distracted with everything else i’m so happy you didn’t haha. Honestly one of the best plot twists in anime for me and Lemillion is finally back w reaction 🔥

Albin Limani

And Rei's family are just outright quirk racists.

Hanah

the fact that fire quirk is extremely rare is mentioned in earlier season too (not sure which). It feels like one of those side info in passing but it ties up at the end so well

Hanah

well to be fair, we had time to marinate the theory but the Geks watched the whole thing continuously so 🤷

Hanah

Geks, idk about the other commenters but you guys not knowing or catching hints of Dabi plot twist makes the reaction much more satisfying in my opinion

Safaricat

I'm glad you guys watched these after the binge episode i was kinda bummed you guys didn't hold out just one more episode cause you would have had some hope. I remember watching weekly my friend was so upset with how things were turning out he stopped watching i had to convince him there was still hope. don't waver, there's always hope PLUS ULTRA

Drew

S6 and S7 are so peak dude. S8 will be peak as well. I'm so excited for when you guys get to the back half of this season and next season.

jblakk

Ever since he taunted Shoto in season 2 I had the theory. But when I dropped the manga, this reveal hitting the internet was what brought me back to complete the story lol

Drew

Also Eri needs to build a level of energy to use her quirk to reset people and I think the further away from the damage the longer it takes. So Eri can help heal a damaged Deku but can't heal All Might if that makes sense.

Hanah

POWERRRRR!!!

Mdmarki

POWEEEEEER

Ariana🥀

It’s always so good to see reactors who didn’t pick up on the hints go in completely blind for the reveal! Fun fact when Dabi’s dance came out in the Manga it went so viral that it out trended the Presidential Election.

Merylin Special

I love the existence of Dabi simply coz in most shounen - once a character decides to change for better - that is it. They get celebrated and usually dont have to face their past mistakes, but life is not like that. Every mistake in life can come back anytime to haunt you. Which is what creates our sympathy for Endevour, but also for Dabi and the whole family - and makes it this compelx and realistic mess. Coz you can feel bad for Endevour for having to reap all of this once he finally changed to become a better person, you also feel bad for the family who did nothing wrong and yet they have to deal with their family member being in an insane asylum (Rei) and another one clearly belonging there too (Dabi), but you also feel bad for Dabi, coz there are chilren who with incorret parenting can truly be broken, and it feels unfair that this is how he ended up. I always argue that if Katsuki never came to Class 1A he d probably end up on the Endevour path, but since he as a kid got the correct support system(honestly I give a lot of credit to Beast Jeanist and UA here), he was able to adjust his behavior before he did permanent damage to someone´s psyche the way Endeavour did to Rei and now seemingly to Dabi. I think it is underreported that from what we know Rei has been asylum for years (in the flashback where the poured the water Shouto was maybe 5) meaning she has been closed away from society for over 10 years...That is usually why i relate the most to Natsu, coz while I do like THIS Enji, I d also probably never be able to forgive someone fully who put my mom into an asylum for most of my childhood.

joursh

i think this is the one of the loudest times yall have ever been and RIGHTFULLY SO LETS GOOOOOOOOOO MHA PEAK PEAK SO MUCH PEAK SO GLAD YOU GUYS ARE ENJOYING THIS 🥹🥹🥹❤️❤️

JevCor

The past never dies, you reap what you sew.

I was genuinely surprised how none of you expected the Dabi reveal but I'm so happy you didn't because this was unreal 😭🙏🏼

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

I feel like I've been waiting for McKays reaction to Lemillions return for an ETERNITY lmaoo. Did not disappoint

Dub_quinn

MHA poetry blossomed while we waited 🔥 😂

JevCor

Okay, I watched this like 4 times, time to let it rest til Wendesday lmao!

Jess

Damn I don't usually rewatch reactions either but this deserves it

cristina

dabi's reveal is insane im glad nobody saw spoilers

Gingerpox

So many amazing moments! DYNAMIGHT!!!

suzy

How did I forget about Limillion 😭😭😭 I was so excited about Dabi’s identity that I forgot about Limillion’s epic return

Moon

HELP the utter confusion on Carter and Cannon's faces when Dabi confessed his secret had me in stitches HAHAHAH To be fair, there WERE a few things that usually tip reactors off to Dabi's true identity. I believe it was a fan theory for the longest time when the manga was still serialising, and then when this chapter dropped fans just went wild. Clue number 1: they both wield powerful fire quirks, with the common colour being blue flames. It's pretty obvious in hindsight, but often gets dismissed as coincidence because of what Dabi himself said: that fire type quirks are a dime a dozen. That, and the fact that Endeavour's flames are red, and hardly ever blue. The only time his flame turned blue was in S2 when he was fighting the Nomus Shigaraki unleashed onto Hosu City where Stain was. When he killed the only black Nomu in that arc, he increased the temperature of his fire so high that the flames turned blue, and it incinerated the Nomu's head (because he says carbonised cells cannot regenerate). This is what throws a lot of people off. HOWEVER, one can definitely still make a guess based on their quirks alone, because there's no way a random villain AND the number 2 hero in the country have similar fire type quirks WITH similar intensities and raw power. Who else could produce a child that can use fire that intense and hot? Certainly not the average no name citizen whose kid became a villain one way or another. It's very likely that he inherited the power from someone equally powerful aka Endeavour! In S3 Ep 7, during Katsuki's kidnapping attempt, Shoto tried to grab one of the marbles that had slipped from Mr Compress' mouth (one was Tokoyami, one was Katsuki), but Dabi snatched it away before he could, while Shoji (dupli-arms guy who duplicates his body parts on the ends of his tentacles) managed to get the other marble. When Shoto was staring in dismay after missing the marble, Dabi made Mr Compress undo his quirk to confirm if the marble in his hand was Katsuki, and it was. And right after that, he smirked down at Shoto and said "That's sad... Todoroki...Shoto...", as if he was making fun of him for failing to rescue his friend. This was clue number 2: how did Dabi know Shoto's name? Why did he say it out loud as though he knew him personally? And why mock only Shoto? Clue number 3 is shown to us in S5 Ep 2. After defeating High End in Kyushu together with Hawks, Endeavour is exhausted, heavily injured and had collapsed to his knees a few steps away from the body of the Nomu. Just then, Dabi shows up, claiming he's here to collect High End's body (we know now that it was under the Doctor's orders since High End was a test Nomu). However, he tries to attack Endeavour for an unknown reason, seeming highly aggressive without prior grudge. Usually people shake it off as his insanity kicking in, but when Mirko shows up to help, Dabi pulls back and retreats. Doctor uses that nasty smelling quirk that comes out of people's mouths to transport Dabi away, but before he goes, Dabi says "See you later, number one. I'm sure we'll have time to talk someday. Until then...do your best." Then he screams "Don't die, Todoroki Enji!" From this, it's fairly obvious something is up with Dabi's fixation on the Todorokis. Why is he so determined to have a conversation with Endeavour specifically? Why does he tell him not to die? And why is he using his actual name instead of his hero one? It can only mean that Dabi's intentions are connected somehow to Endeavour's personal life, and not his hero one, a point that usually goes over people's heads because of the reveal of Hawks being a double-agent later in the episode.

Dub_quinn

Seeing y’all react to the Dabi reveal, Best Jeanist plane entrance, Lemillion’s return, Bakugo’s Dynamight name, Machia getting KO’d by the anesthetic finally, and the broadcast about Dabi, Endeavor, and Hawks — I mean straight peak!!! We’ve made it geks!

Dub_quinn

Lemillion’s motto just makes me think of Nighteye’s final words to him 🥺 Lemillion is such a good hero

Dub_quinn

After so many L’s, the geks screamed for Lemillion. Made me so happy! And McKay noticed immediately, he’d been wanting Lemillion back like every episode lol

Alan

That’s true I guess I’m just A sucker for the dramatic flair

Moon

Also yes, shout out to Dabi's VA for his phenomenal work in ep 11 and 12. Shimono Hiro is a legend in the industry for being so versatile with his unique voice. He has a VERY distinct tonal quality to his voice acting, specifically for characters like Dabi. The other end of his voice acting spectrum would probably be Zenitsu, who sounds almost NOTHING like Dabi. Only when Zenitsu gets into serious mode can you really hear the similarities. Oh and Connie from AOT of course! Though he's prob somewhere in the middle. Anyway, the point is yes Shimono deserves all the praise for his voice acting in MHA. He really outdid himself as Dabi. I could feel the rage, the hysterical happiness, the unsettling mania that coats every single word coming out of Dabi's mouth. It's just amazing.

Moon

Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight is simultaneously the cringiest and coolest name Katsuki could have come up with tbh. I've always loved that he took part of his hero, All Might's name and revamped it to give it a completely new meaning that both suits his explosive personality and attitude AND honours his idol. He's literally so fking serious about the whole name too, not just the "Dynamight" part, which would have already been sick on its own.

Dub_quinn

This is what makes the Todoroki story so good! Typical Shonen would’ve had amends happen when Endeavor chose to change or would’ve had the past die, but no, in MHA we cook, every family member has their own opinions, the past isn’t just erased, and everything is more real because of it! Geks, meet Toya, who you’ve known since S2!

zaphyre

I am so proud of everyone in the comments for not ruining the Dabi reveal, it was totally worth the blind reaction!!

Moon

And ofc, how could I forget your reactions to Mirio's return. You guys reacted the SAME way I did when I saw that glimpse of him saving Burnin' from that worm looking High End. So many chills and the excitement and anticipation was literally UNMATCHED. Love that you guys were so hyped for his reappearance. He genuinely deserves it. Also Cannon's love for Eri is so cute. She really is such a wholesome kid. She deserves the world after what Overhaul put her through. Her practicing using her quirk so she can give Mirio his back as a thank you for saving her back in S4 just makes me wanna squish them both affectionately. I'm so excited for the next drop. Can't wait for more!!

Dub_quinn

Cannon saying Jack broke the sound barrier 😂 that was hilarious. I think McKay might break the couch or Carter’s leg he was so hype he started slapping everything within a 5 foot radius lol

Dub_quinn

I’m already ready for the geks to rewatch lol

Dub_quinn

Cannon at the end realizing how close October 4th is was pretty funny lol

Dub_quinn

I love that it’s not dynamite, it’s dynamight!

TED103

actually one of the best reveals ever

TED103

when it came out it beat the US election on trending 😂

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

It's funny especially because the sound barrier is about speed not loudness

JulioLG

hahaha yes! all this time they saying we'll be caught up by october and we all being worried the numbers didnt add lol, well now they are more aware so we'll have 1 or 2 more binges lets goooo 🔥🔥

Dub_quinn

I’m so proud of this community not spoiling, thanks geks for the shoutout because it is amazing y’all knew nothing! And am I rewatching already? Yes!

JulioLG

that was the most impactful thing for me on first watch, Dabi was ready to prominence burn Endeavor's ass with no hesitation... sick

Jenny D

I was so surprised by Dabi being Toya. I did not expect it. When he told Hawks, and he got shocked I suspected he must be someone important. You guys had a great reaction to it as well. I'm glad Lemillion got his power back. I'm excited for the next drop.

Dub_quinn

I love that the intro doesn't even spoil that it's a darker start to a season! our gek's brains were not readyyy!!!

Dub_quinn

Side characters in MHA are like NOOO others, the importance they get is epic! Shoto crying the whole time fighting Dabi, Eri practicing to help Lemillion, Best Jeanist inspiring Bakugo and his name, Look Boy hearing the news about Endeavor and Hawks couldn't even look at the screen anymore; I mean for people who thought MHA was simple in S1 I understand, but if you can't feel the depth by S6 I just don't think you're looking hard enough.

Dub_quinn

I hope for a binge in S7!

cade-carter

it was an extremely popular fan theory for a while the execution is still amazing

Mdmarki

Their reaction to mirio showing up was incredible hahahaah

Mdmarki

The side cast in MHA is the best handle side cast I have ever seen in any anime, and I've watched a lot of animes

Jack

LEMILLIGOAT

Jimmy

This might be a hot take but I dont even blame Dabi. Obviously its overboard but Im not gonna absolve what Endeavor has done just cus hes tryna be better now. He was an ass of a father and dedicated half his life to his own pride and selfish desires. Im glad hes reflecting on his decisions now, but I would also find it very hard to forgive him.

Chlo

YES!! what an extremely impressive va! when i found out dabi and zenitsu have the same va I legitimately couldn't believe it! What insane versatility. His work on this episode was so phenomenal. The level of insanity and mania he was able to portray was just 🤌🤌

Chlo

I agree! I always find the reactions to this episode where reactors have zero inkling Dabi is Toya to be the most fun to watch. The reactions never disappoint lol

Beeg

I'm not well-versed on this topic but...99.99% DNA match? Is it just me or does that number just...not sound right?

Lettuce

Children and parents are typically a 96-99% match due to slight differences in dna since both parents made the kid

Moon

@Chlo You get it! He's so good at his job! I'm surprised he hasn't worn down his throat with all the screaming he does as Zenitsu (though I'm sure he enjoys it thoroughly HAHA)

Ashlee

Honestly this is so true 🙌🏾

Beeg

Can I get a source for that? Like I said I'm not confident on the topic but from what I can understand from googling, parents and child should have an around 50% match, no? I know there's some degree of variance, but unless I'm extremely mistaken isn't 99% basically...a clone or identical twin?

Ashlee

He out-trended the elections twice !! The first time when it was revealed in the manga and the second time when it was revealed in the anime 😂😂

BipolarKitten

Cannon still refusing to show us his bad haircut.

Shio

i need a lemillion spin off

Marcus D

Fun fact , when those season 3 camp episodes were coming out , people were already guessing Dabi was shoto’s brother because back in shoto’s flashback during the sprots festival we see a shot of all of the other siblings playing away from shoto. There were 3 kids; one boy with white hair(natsuo), a girl and… another boy with red hair 👀. So Toya was hinted at back then during the first half of season 2

Marcus D

I think it was a 99.99% match of them being biologically related, not having 99.99% of the same dna.

Marcus D

If you guys want to catch up before season 8 starts you’re going to have to watch 11 episodes a week lol (34 eps left)

Zipzzty

Easy work for them

Zephyar

i googled it, and it said all humans have 99.5% the same dna. 99.9% is practically proven as a parent

JevCor

There is a poll currently.

Merylin Special

yes I vividly remember the conspiracy theories, and the validation that we felt when the manga came out and years of speculation were confirmed.

Alex Mehmeti

Back in season 3 during the heroes bakugo's rescue, All Might smashed through the building while Endevour stayed in the back with the police and Gran Torino shouted out loud all the members real names, except Dabi.

Merylin Special
>>186665396

I mean I get what you mean, but lets put it more correctly - we get it, but it ofc does not entitle him to kill 30 innocents and as a result continue to spread trauma. The Natsu route was there, Dabi just in more ways than one truly got the personaly of his dad - meaning he can hyperfixate very effectvively for years without any remorse on what it does to his surroundings...now mix in the past, the parenting , the lack of support and guidance...Dabi by all means already had a difficult personaly, a difficult quirk and he was just not the kind of person who you can raise incorrectly. He was one of those childrens for which you as parent have to lock in - which didnt happen.

Ciara

I was waiting for thisssssss y’all’s reactions killed me I unfortunately was spoiled before I got to that part I’m so glad y’all weren’t😭

Marcus D

Also during the camp arc earlier that season, dabi encountered a lot of the ‘good guys’ but only made an effort to call out to “shoto todaroki” by his full name.👀 (in a slow and very emphasised voice may I add).

Dub_quinn

I was so nervous when Dabi said his name to Hawks, I thought Jack was gonna cook per usual. I’m so glad they didn’t know til it was said!

Azurial

Also he is coming out of a hair salon after dying his hair lmao

Dub_quinn

If y’all want/need another binge in season 6, I’d do E18-25. And the time capsule unlocks at the start of ep 22 lol! 🎁

n Ferrante

Naruto is way better

Yue

These episodes felt SO GREAT after all the depression of the season haha. The Dabi reveal was so funny when it came out in the manga because the fandom already kind of suspected for years but the reveal and confirmation was phenomenal. It was even outtrending the election. Your reactions to Dabi and Lemillion were so hype! Also, the amount of BTS memes that came out of the Dynamight reveal were iconic 😂

Senbujohns

The Todoroki storyline is lowkey the best storyline of the show. And this batches were insane, reminded me a lot of AoT when things seem so hopeless you're waiting for a miracle. The fact that everybody's effort also cumulated into subdueing all the Paranormal, League AND Shigaraki all except Dabi. This is peak MHA right there and the next seasons will also deliver.

Mdmarki

So you came here just to say naturo is better hahahah, u must be bored

n Ferrante

No becaus they dont recognize the Peak plotwist of Naruto but in My Hero they glaze it .

Saint

hey, does enjoying something mean glazing?

botanbutton

How old are you, 13??? (¬_¬ )

botanbutton

Looking at him and watching him talk, you would never guess how much talent is housed in that normal looking body. He's truly a regular Japanese dude but he got the RANGE.

n Ferrante

I dont understand how they can love it so much , and dont missunderstand I dont say my Hero is Bad , but my opinion is they love so much about this Show , but Naruto does this same things better , but they dont love it nearly as much

adabooo

MHA's plot twist is simply on another level

n Ferrante

For ne Not The Dabi plotwist was very predictable , and the Itachi Plotwist for me was way more shocking and better writen

StanleyMurkle

Is it that deep ? They’re both good I don’t understand the need to put down one show to hype another one that’s really lame and I don’t even fw my hero like that

botanbutton

Feel like this might be a spoiler since he talks a little about his lineage in season 7. You might be jumping the gun a bit, fam.

Caraxes🐐DT

Because it’s nothing alike and you saying it’s better don’t mean the whole world have to agree with you lol cool you like Naruto twist more but they don’t apparently…you gotta get over that gang

Lori

"YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW." Classic. This is literally Endeavor's past catching up to flashfire fist him in the face.

Caraxes🐐DT

Funny he talking bout glazing like he not glazing tf outta naruto on a whole different show thread

n Ferrante

You can ask 100 people , 90 say Naruto is better , and the only reason they say my hero is better is because , Naruto anime has Bad pacing

Caraxes🐐DT

Bruh you literally just yapping lmao let me say again just cuz you and those 100 people might think so don’t mean the whole world have to…get over that gang

As someone who liked Naruto cause it was my first anime experience I can honestly say that for me, MHA is better in some aspects. But do I go comment that under Naruto post? No. Because I get that preferences are subjective. Saying “Itachi’s twist was better than Dabi’s” is your opinion, and that’s fine, but not every good plot twist has to be measured on the same scale. Some shows pull off amazing twists even in simpler contexts, and that’s what makes them effective. And forcing reactors or complaining that they don’t react exactly the way you want, or comparing it to other reactions, is just pathetic. If you love Naruto, then have faith in it and enjoy the reactions it gets.

Kayanolive

When Dabi looked at todoroki weird in season 3 and acted like he knew him i KNEW this is where the plot was going. Guess i was early on that one haha! Im a sucker for this trope

Kayanolive

Endeavor getting what he deserves yessir

Kayanolive

And im so here for it catching up to him

Kayanolive

Geks when yall have time check the scene in season 3 when Toya met Shoto in the forest! it just clicked for me there!!

Kayanolive

I love twists that dont get revealed for SEASONS.. so glad yall are watching one piece 👀

KatyRose

I figured it out super early on because when dabi was introduced i was like hold up he got the same color eyes as endeavor and shouto and uses fire thats suspicious.

Tyler

I’ve watched in both sub and dub and I’m certain they never mention geten in particular, wouldn’t have mentioned it if I thought I was spoiling anything trust

bfc2307

I’m glad they didn’t suspect anything ur reaction was fun to watch even tho i knew about it because of the theories the way the reveal was delivered was so crazy to me

Kayanolive

Now im kinda glad we didnt get the 3-13 cause this is too much peak

Aby

Yess those episodes are very bingeable. Although of course I’d love it if they could just binge everything rn lol

Aby

She rewound her dad out of existence when it first manifested and Overhaul used it to rewind people to a different evolutionary state in his quirk erasing bullets. If she can rewind people out of existence, she technically has the power to rewind people back a decade or so. That probably requires much greater control than she has, and there isn’t a great way for her to practice that either. She has the power to start healing people, but she’s a kid, so I understand not using her for that (even if it seems like a bit of a plot hole not to use her to rewind Aizawa, who’s basically her adoptive dad, for example).

Stairguy

I have been shocked to find out how many people didn't guess this during this reaction. When watching the seasons live this was THE most common speculation. I just assumed everyone had guessed it. I even remember manga readers complaining that the only reason we guessed this is because of the anime being in color. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Albin Limani

They like MHA more because it does not take 2 decades to get to its point. I love Naruto, it was my first anime and it has some of my favorite moments of all time. But it has so much trash inside it that by the time the peak arrives you can not enjoy it as much. It does have better plot twists, but it also sours them by having so many boring and uninteresting parts.

Nivek

Shoto screaming at his father as Toya is crashing down on them- that moment feels like it last forever and I love every second of it. Canon and Carters faces are exactly you feel watching it. If you don’t see it coming then it low key feels like AOT S2

Stairguy

I too am surprised nobody guessed Dabi could be Toya. And you DID know about Toya in Shoto's flashbacks in season 2. He's one of the kids playing on the first floor when Endeavor's dragging Shoto away. We just don't know his name of course. But it's all good. Part of the reason a lot of us assumed he was Endeavor's son is because we had the benefits of watching the seasons multiple times. You always notice clues on the rewatch FAR more often. It's better for the reaction that you didn't know. The Lamillion reaction was the best 😂 McKay is amazing, I don't know how he recognized him right away! It was just a red flash and he was immediately off the coach smiling 😆 I had to rewind it, it was awesome hahaha

Nivek

Jack/Carter one of y’all could pull of best Jeanist with the right stylist for Halloween 🤣

syd

when i tell you the todoroki family drama makes the show

Nami Swannn

I’m honestly shocked none of yall guessed Dabi is Touya 😭 I understand y’all were shocked and I loved the reaction but within the fandom this was the most non-secret secret 😂 the whole fandom was just waiting on it to be revealed (an iconic day, if yall were there you know why LMAO)

Nami Swannn

I don’t think yall remember it but when they first brought up the fact that Endeavor had a taboo quirk marriage to make a perfect successor, yall made a comment about if we’d ever see a child from a quirk marriage who got the short end of the stick 👀

Nami Swannn

MIRIO MY GOATTTT ‼️‼️‼️

M1GZ

Yah the whole MHA community was pretty sure dabi was a todoroki since s2. When we learn about Toya in s5 it pretty much confirmed it for many people, really glad y’all didn’t know though same with Carlie and Ange it made the reaction 100x better.

Aser Studios

Nobody fucking asked.. It's just weird to go into another reaction and want to downplay it because you have a different opinion.. Saying Naruto has better plot twist is not factual but a means of preference..

M1GZ

Bro aint no way that’s your argument.... “iF I AsK 1o0 peOpLe tHeYd agREE wiTh mE🤡” Maybe if you ask 100 randoms sure because Naruto is more popular because of when it came out but if you ask people who are caught up on both anime’s I’d bet money MHA wins. I don’t even watch Naruto but I watched a random reaction from like episode 400 something and they were very clearly bored and uninterested and everyone in the comments was like DONT WORRY the good stuff is finally coming soon. I’m sorry if I can watch 3 MHAs in the spand of time your show needs to “gets good” maybe your show is just not as good as you thought it was when you were 11. Mha>Naruto. My hero is just objectively a much much tighter and better written story than Naruto.

Sam Davis

Shoto being the ultimate support!! Them boys are done for

Sam Davis

Them dam Todorokis 😂😂

Sam Davis

Neptunestar79

The face you guys made from Toya is exactly how I just felt holy hell, I’ve been so excited for this reveal for so long. But the happiness when lemillion came back is just so good. POWER

Neptunestar79

THE FEELING OF SEEING ALL OF THIS FORESHADOWING AND PARALLELS, NOT SEEING OR NOTICING WHATS HAPPENING IS THE WORST

Belly

a live action mha movie was just confirmed 💀💀. netflix is making it

TRILLHO

congratulations everyone, they really got to the toya reveal without any spoilers. what a feat

lololol

Violet833

Now why would they......

Jeremy

The rock as all might and Ryan Reynolds as Deku

Farfaraway

I personally never posted a comment about dabi/toya stuff because i had a sliver of hope the geks wouldn’t pick up the spoiler. So glad everyone is on the same page W chat indeed

Albin Limani

I think having around 5-6 years as a fandom to make the theories and watching it in a short span is the difference. We as a fandon had so much time to think and theorize about the show, they watched it in a short span of time. I am noticing that most reactors that have joined late and have to binge the show do not put it together that Dabi is Toya.

All might

im terrified😭

All might

just imagine Tsukuyomi or Koda? live action😭 or Deku's flailing limbs after breaking them? There's wayyy too much I cant imagine, im so scared its bout to look corny asf

Mdmarki

How many hertz do you guys think canon will reach in that specific moment in S7?

Mdmarki

The fact that toyas reveal surpassed the election trending in twitter had me screaming hahahaha

Vera

It’s crazy to say but the next half of the season is gonna be even better it’s literally just straight up PEAK

Jeremy

Are you guys gonna do another binge? I'm not sure if you can catch up in time if you don't

Mdmarki

Are u guys gonna do another binge or what are ur plans for catching up to season 8?

Christian

I think in order to catch up for season 8, they should do 2 mini binges of 7x10-7x15 and 7x16-7x21

Marcus D

I’m sure they’re keeping track and aware of what they need to do

QuirklessEsty

My favorite part of this reaction was how Jack, who kept making references to Toya, was the first to clock that Dabi was Toya. Also how McKay, who kept asking for Mirio's return and said last reaction that he would forever gas this show up if they brought him back this arc, was the first to notice that Mirio had returned with his quirk. The build ups to all of your reactions were fantastic, but those two truly stood out to me!

JulioLG

I just rewatched the s4 Lemillion episode and just thought he's gone so far from "All Might Junior" jokes when he just appeared to a crazy monkey reaction when he's back... MHA and its goated characters ❤️

IQLou

Plz don’t binge s7 unless is the first few episodes. I would personally enjoy a post ep discussion for a lot of those episodes, they deserve it :/

Nami Swannn

For sure! I still think it’s funny tho cuz they normally are on top of theories and this one was a pretty obvious/not outlandish one at all but it totally slipped them by. And not to say they do, but I feel like some reactors out there fake their reactions 😭 but ya, the Dabi/Touya connection is a pretty easy one to make but I don’t think anyone (except maybe Jack ?) every made even a passing comment about it lolll

Matt C

I’d personally do 7x6-7x11, then 2 normal drops, and then after a 7x16-21 binge (only if needed). But honestly, I hope there’s less binging and more breaks if they have time cuz it might be too much peak at once

T.Yaseen

Glad you guys were not spolied about Toya lmao, truly one of the best plot twists in the show

Dub_quinn

Yeah if there's a S7 binge the first ones would be better I'd think

All might

orrr they could just discuss each ep after watching it

Neptunestar79

What about mineta or all for one…

Belly

🧍🏻‍♀️

Tigerclaw

They can make afo for sure but mineta 😭

Poragami

Not even Stranger Things dropped yet, suspicious

Mdmarki

Here we are

botanbutton

So, what's going on? I got my food but it won't stay warm forever 😂

kai

you jinxed it

mina

i think carter's wifi is the problem😂

1999

Lmao during that monologue Toya was moving around like Light at the end of Death Note

Shinon

For all those waiting, they said in the live stream that Carter is having internet problems so the upload might be delayed.

maria⁷

thanks for relaying this devastating message 💔

Drew Jukes

are they doing more frequent uploads now?

Marlon Douglas

Guys they said they will catch up before season 8 so we will probably start getting three episodes per drop.

cara

i once again got impatient and rewatched the rest of this season on my own and i literally cannot wait for some of these drops. i can’t even think about s7 or im gonna throw up. the race to 8 is gonna be so peak I hope they do longer drops so we make it in time, im so greedy😩

~Mercedeez Lee~

If they don’t do at least one more binge then they won’t catch up to season 8 when it airs. Only a few more weeks to go, then it’s here. Plus it’s the last season and they did say something along the lines that they wanna catch up and join the hype with everyone else. So unless they start adding more episodes on the drops ( as in more than 2 episode a drop ), the binge is needed

Beeg

I see, that makes more sense

Dub_quinn

Maybe tomorrow the internet issues will be fixed🤞

JulioLG

Guys right now you're NOT cooking 🤣🤣🤣 nah take your time and enjoy whats left, its pure PEAK

stako

dont watch ep 1 of s7 or you will literally end up finishing it in a day

stako

dandadan up there ngl

GooberM

when lemillion first came on the show "i dont know about this guy" now "LETS GOOOOOOOOOO"

Ghedo

is it just me, or is the patreon quality really bad the last few days, often goes to whats looking like 360p, then slowly stepping up quality, then back down again ?

Sasha Ruple

If you guys were watching it a bit slower I think you'd have gotten to Dabi=Toya. It was a very popular theory for a long time in the weekly manga space back in the day, so it's fun seeing the surprise land for y'all

a_daichi

you know it's been a long time since I've watched s6 because how did I forget about Mirio omggg 😭

a_daichi

love seeing McKay so animated lol

Dave

The lemillion comeback was so hated at the time when the chapters were dropping 💀 also dabi = toya was a theory for so long

Farfaraway

Is this hope? Is this a win? Is this happiness finally? Are we allowed to feel this way? LOLLLL MCKAY😂😂 Im totally rewatching the entirety of mha rn🥀

Mahti

How was Toya such a shock to everyone 😂 I mean I wasn't sure at any point but I did consider it ever since I heard of Toya
