Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

Have to admit I went ahead and binged the rest of the season on my own

AK

The theme song is so good. It fits the mood of this show perfectly.

SuperChuckABoo

LMAO i remember last comment you were trying to hold off! How did you like it though? I wasn't prepared for feels

terror squad

PLS react to Sentenced to be A Hero Insane NEW PEAK

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

Lolll yes. Self restraint non existent 🫣 I loved it!! So many great moments. Super rewarding as a fan of the movies and Stephen King especially. Not the perfect show by any means but it's a really solid watch

Rumaki21

The Hanlons are from Shreveport city Louisiana hence the cajun creole cuisine.

Jwong

Yeah, the graveyard scene felt ripped right out of Disneyland's haunted mansion ride. So goofy

Rawaby 1204

You guys were so fast catching on the general and The lady from the store

Nana_44

The last scene was very green screen like cgi vibes so I get what you guys mean! I felt the same watching it😭

Silentwtf

this is by far the worst cgi moment scooby doo part in the entire show. the rest is absolute peak, dont lose a single bit of hope

Ayoodude

Scooby doo ahh scene 🗑️

Jessica

Hate to say it but I’m not really sold yet 🥲 im just waiting for bill and hoping it gets better

Daniella

Yeah i like this show a lot but that graveyard scene was giving Disney lol also i'm not sure whether you guys have seen/read The Shining or Doctor Sleep but those give more lore on Halloran and his abilities (i hope i'm not spoiling) . Stephen King basically created one huge universe with his books e.g. the mention of Shawshank, so if you want more information you'll find it there :)

Josh Hargrave

Oh yeah this cemetery sequence wasn't so impressive but the rest of the show is much better lol

Melissa

the director said in an interview that they sacrificed some of the vfx budget for ~something~ that happens later. thankfully the end of this episode is really the only time it shows, the rest of the vfx is so good. also dick halloran is from the shining which of course is another stephen king book and so is shawshank redemption. they looove making references to other stephen king books in this show lol

GreetswithJudgement

“Dude send Ronnie to the sewers. And Lily. Send them all.” 😂 McKay you need to be put under the jail 😂

Caleb Mackin

i need them to watch both it movies

Blake

not everything in this verse is pennywise guys lol

E L

i love this show that i watched the episodes in advance.

Chrissy

Haha I feel there is always that one bad episode or moment in a show/movie cause the budget has to go to something more important. I remember my family and I laughing at the graveyard scene. But it truly doesn’t become a trend. Of all the scenes, I think it was the best one to skimp out on as well.

No Tap

Succession clears

AK

Chris Chalk (Hallorann) does such a good job acting sketchy lol. Like he says all the right things, but there's still something about him that makes you want him out of your house.

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

There was not that many scary things in those movies but yeah that Shibal scene was terrifying and the second movie has one of the scariest scenes ever. Also I feel like this episode didn't make me terrified at all unlike like the last one. That swinging guy in the shop was super scary.

Jijireacts!

after IT: welcome to derry im hoping for a SUCCESSION reaction its such a good show!!

No Tap

People call this a horror show?

NMP

Fun fact the guy who directed the IT movies and this show was attached to direct Attack on Titan live action for Warner Bros like six years ago

CJ Evans

Couldn’t have said it better myself, everything after this is worth this episode lmao.

Jessica

Bill Skarsgård plays pennywise

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

Right😅 I was like who might Bill be? Of course I know him. Son Skarsgård

Indifferent Denji

Imo if they do a live action aot they should just do the prequel before the fall that way they can lean into the horror more since its about how they invented the odm gear and there wont be titan shifters, the titans were basically running shi in that series

No Tap

Love the channel but I have to just point out, 39 comments but this somehow won the poll? I swear people should lose their voting privileges.

christopher

some people watch and don't comment like I don't comment on It but do in one piece

NMP

Yep, Andy Muschietti, look his name up and attack on titan. It’s pretty obvious nothing ever came of it though.

NMP

People started voting for it just to beat the walking dead

Navri

Just wanted to say all the movies in Stephen King's universe are connected so the Green mile reference and other upcoming references make a lot more sense

Toru

jack its okay to admit you watched ginny & georgia LOL

a_daichi

yeah I'd have to agree I didn't love the graveyard part. the episode was amazing up until that part. still a great ep!

a_daichi

I think also they're watching it a bit late
