NMP

Good troll now upload peakJK

Cannon Andrus

Jjk is coming but I want some comments about the show and reaction !!!

Jimmy

Can anyone tell me if the JJK intro spoils anything? Or if theyd even be able to pick up on potential spoilers? Need them to react to that!

pixie

the cycle is every 27 years and the current year of the show is 1962

NMP

The only thing that it would really notably spoil is something that gets revealed in the episodes today anyways. IMO. Was also in the trailers.

Dreamknight942

Such an interesting show, they definitely went in a direction I didn’t think they would.

Lazygeneration

Why are people commenting about a different show? lol weird

Caleb Mackin

michael c hall as young dexter is always hilarious

NINJA SWORD

Pennywise is so underrated in the movies, he’s supposed to have unreal powers, he’s too powerful compared to most fictional characters.

candyxo

Such a good show and great reaction!! Can't wait for the next upload! Thanks guys!

The only recorded lynching in Maine was in 1873

"The Settlers" have insane aura

Ella

stranger things bit off their whole aesthetic from the it book. don't disrespect big stephen king 😭

T-rav 3

The “baby” popping out of the priest was Jesus Christ, if you look closely there is a crown of thorns on his head. The natives were terrified of being converted into Christianity since the “settlers” arrival was synonymous with the spreading of the gospel for most Native American tribes

Rawaby 1204

If you watch the Kdrama Moving you will see the craziest age gap between the actor and the role lol , for this show I actually like the second half of it more , can’t wait till you guys watch it

Safaricat

This show is not going to give you the FULL lore of what you're wanting because frankly the humans don't know where he came from and all that. That is going more into Dark Tower territory. I will say with the combined knowledge of IT, The Shining, and Dark Tower you'd be able to understand IT more. The Stephen Kingverse is THICC with lore and mystery.

Violet833

Yea wasn't the book published in 1986?

Chrissy

I really hope y’all watch the movies at some point! Also for horror, midnight mass is so good. It takes a pretty oversaturated genre of horror and does something interesting with it. It’s short and sweet. Also anti girl era is crazy 😭😭😭😂 But to be fair the girls are only getting all the traumatic and bad moments and not being able to be humorous. I def think they could have given the girls a bit more dimension. But all the kids are doing great!

Chrissy

If anything stranger things was inspired by IT with the vibe💀

Harper

This show is so good (Caden could also be reacting to this)

Violet833

The storylines going on with Will's family and halloran with his abilities are my favorite.

Chrissy

It was definitely a big deal for a black man to be with a white woman during this time. Especially when things could be twisted.

SuperChuckABoo

I can't wait for the next few episodes! It's gonna be peeeeak

SuperChuckABoo

For sure and she was already married. It's so crazy how much hate and ignorance was/is going on

SuperChuckABoo

For real mine too. I don't know why it took me so long to realize who Halloran and Bowers were. Especially the police Chief Bowers and how his son plays into the universe.

Chrissy

What did char lie about? Is she supposed to agree to not help, or? She told him what she was doing, he didn’t like it.

Chrissy

“Marge deserved it” lmaoooo 😭😂😂

I don't think anything by Stephen King is scary in the modern sense of it being produced simply to spook the viewer in a surface level way. It's psychological and digs a little deeper, and IT especially you can watch and be like "haha goofy clown" but it's intended to put you in the position of the people being haunted by their literal worst fear which is obviously gruesome when you think about it. Will seeing his dad dead after a plane crash because he's worried about him being a pilot is pretty gnarly. It's character exploration in a very unique way and I love it. You said in the beginning you felt like you liked the show for the wrong reasons like the plot and people and their relationships but like that's the whole point of this, so there's nothing wrong with that I think.

Also it seems like maybe you didn't know? But The Shawshank Redemption movie is based on the Stephen king book. Same with other movies like The Green Mile and Stand By Me

The real ones remember Cannon's massive jumpscare in the last of us season 1 with the halloween decoration lmao

Jimmy

Too many movies where the main actor is way older than their age. Andrew Garfield as a teenager in Spiderman is one 💀 hes awesome though

Yadi

Straight gas peddle from here on out, also every episode after this one was filmed after the writer strike so don’t be suprised if some of the kids look older

L U K E

I think the chief was scared of Christians and the baby that popped out had a crown of thorns so I think that the baby that killed her was literally supposed to be baby Jesus which is wild lmao

ainsley

i also don’t usually get scared at horror shows, but haunting of hill house had me terrified. i’m so excited for it to eventually win a poll (fingers crossed). the plot is also really realllyyyy good and not just about the scares. i think you guys will loveee it and find that it has the missing pieces other horror shows have!

FrankS

Watch the shining and doctor sleep, adds context to the psychics

Nana_44

It won’t babes I been asking along with many people for 2 years now and they never want to do it

Bob

will hooked a clown fish

EP 5 NOW

Kim 555

You guys need to work on the lighting situation, you gotta find the perfect balance of dim lighting and the camera not messing up. A perfect example would be your old TLOU reactions. Watching scary stuff in bright white light is abysmal 💀

Silentwtf

patiently waiting for ep 5, its where things really ramp up

Kim 555

Jack do you know how offensive it is to say "is this Stranger Things?" to anything by Stephan King 😭? His book is what inspired the Guffers (yes, I misspelled their name intentionally) to write Stranger Things, including the kids riding bike and all that jazz, Vecna and his nightmare realm is inspired by Pennywise haunting his victims. This was THEE inspo, this is the blueprint. Any time I hear about Stranger Things post season 5 I get chills, they butchered that show so badly.

bearuber

episode 5? :<

a_daichi

i'm soooo intrigued to see what happens next! hopefully Lilly can get out of going to juniper again 😭

Sage

You’re right about everything except vecna, he’s clearly a Freddy Krueger inspired character. It was set in 1984 and the guy that played victor creal is literally Freddy himself

Kim 555

I mean it's both, Pennywise also puts people intro a trance of their fears and nightmares

Frosty

So crazy to hear a Prisoners reference, been my #1 movie for a while, masterclass directing, cinematography, and a lifetime performance from Hugh Jackman, easily his best, and Jake Gyllenhaal is my favorite actor and hes pretty much the best part of every movie hes a main character in, even if the movie sucks he never phones in a bad performance The "side" character actors (like Terrance Howard) also put up some of their best on screen work. Easy to follow themes mixed with some deep symbolism and allegories that make rewatches really engaging, and it being a Thriller/Mystery which is my favorite genre puts it at the top for me. Denis Villeneuve's Prisoners, Sicario, Arrival run of movies made me a really big fan of his and put me onto the awesome work of Cinematographer, Roger Deakins. That movie kinda put me onto paying more attention to the smaller details in movies and just being more aware of Cinematographers in general and im glad anytime I go back it still hits like it did the first time

Carter insists that its impossible to make a good thumbnail without it being that bright
