Dasha

Here we go

Dasha

I was rewatching arlong park, desperately waiting for this upload lol

Jesse Herrera

Love this anime! Hope you guys consider Akame Ga Kill and Soul Eater in the future. I think you love em!

Sky

The fakeout with Zanka waking up and summoning his staff to him when he's really just hallucinating that situation is so good. Sets the stage for Zanka's potential, but slaps you in the face thinking you're gonna get that payoff this soon, lol.

Vextipher

Not Jabber emoting on Zanka oh lord hahah. Jabber is something else.

Earthshatter

Y'all are 2 eps away from where I stopped watching can't wait to keep watching the show

LK

Zanka got done so dirty 😭

Dasha

Zanka and Jabber laughing scene gave birth to a huge amount of memes btw

walkman

Gachiakuta keeps cooking

Night Sterling

Author said no anime flashback power ups 😂 My boy Zanka taking all the L's

Almeida

Jabber is by far my favorite character from the show. Maybe because I love crazy ragebaiters villains like mahito and jabber

Kuro

jabber laughing with zanka always gets a chuckle out of me lmfaoo, but I kinda like that zanka took this L, it will only make his victory later in the series more hype

Dub_quinn

Zankaaaa! We all want him to prove that a mediocrity can beat a natural talent. That hallucination was a blow to the optimism tho lol

Dub_quinn

Kinda can't help but like Jabber haha

Earthshatter

i love jabber bro. hes just there to have a good time

kai

you mean the greatest fakeout ever cause that gagged me

Chosos Wife

I already loved Jabber but the end with him lying down and just howling laughing made me love him even more

Chosos Wife

Also, schedule who? Didn't we just get an episode yesterday? 😱😱 SPOILING US🫶🏻

SIIver

Y’all don’t know how excited I’ve been for you guys to see this episode. Jabber is an absolute menace. This episode got me laughing for days. Him laughing with zanka killed me lol😭😭

Chosos Wife

Jack I'm a fence sitter too, it's ok 🫶🏻🤣

Chosos Wife

How did you stop after the next episode!!

Frizen

Killing Zanka would have been more respectful than what they did to him this episode, bro got done DIRTY 🤣

Chosos Wife

CANNON I WILL NOT STAND FOR THE DR PEPPER SLANDER

MtnDua

Haha loved the start with Jack being on the fence🤣

botanbutton

Dr. Pepper has been doing really good profit wise over the past few years. They got a major boost in sales; heard a podcast on it. And it's actually delicious, lol.

botanbutton

Jabber is Hisoka w/o the pedo stuff 😂

Coran

Not McKay saying we gotta stop taking edibles before watching these 😭

Max

Great episode, even though I love zanka, I’m really glad the show didn’t just suddenly give him the power to defeat jabber just because he now believes in himself or some variation of that, one of my least favorite anime tropes.

Dub_quinn

I've seen so many dub Jabber edits of him singing and laughing around Zanka haha, I watched in sub but Jabber in English seems like a win too

Drakon

zanka and enjin fighting for nr.1 spot for me

kai

enjin really is that big brother figure all of them rely on

kai

jabber is a fucking troll he really started dancing and rapping over zanka 😭😭😭

JTUltima

3/4ths of the episode a zanka flashback and then he gets up all determined just for him to actually be hallucinating. Author did him BOGUS😭

Lemur

First pie and now Dr. Pepper, how many mid takes can you have Cannon.

Joey

Insane bait

mel

kinda random but im really interested in everyones ages lke how much older is Engin to Zanka? Riyo looked pretty young in that back story too

AK

This is my first time seeing the sub Jabber version. The dub was alllll over my TL

Luay Salah

Whitebeard is HIM that’s all I can say

cozo

wrong post 😭

jrnoodles

Thanks! Had us in the first half not gonna lie.

izykyzi

I already liked Zanka, but this episode really sealed the deal 🔥

Maria

Enjin is in his late 20s, Zanka & Riyo are teenagers

Dezzie00

Enjin: 28 Rudo:15 Riyo:16 Zanka:17 Jabber:18

Ayoodude

🔥🔥🔥 went back and re watched these episodes again and now again for the 3rd time with the Geks

1way

Great episode

Daniella

Jabber laughing in Zanka’s face whilst bro is trying to imagine a power up is so diabolical, w voice acting though (the song in dub was in my head for weeks 😂)

Charybdis

been thinking about watching this, what anime can you compare it to?

a_daichi

the actual greatest fakeout ever because I just know there’s more in Zanka!! I’ll be waiting!

Zaptozz88

Zanka did NOT deserve to be dragged like that ...

a_daichi

I can’t lie I really loved jabber’s song and dance 😂

a_daichi

Guita’s VA is so cute & funny lol

a_daichi

Jabber 18?! Idk why I didn’t expect that lol

a_daichi

Cannon is correct 😌

a_daichi

hmmm it’s not super similar to others imo but it does give me slight vibes like jjk/kaiju 8? It’s a cool anime that you don’t know what’s coming next and I really like that.

Alexander

Jabber the most enjoyable villain I've seen in awhile

Juicy D. jaloomba

WHOS HYPED FOR GACHIAKUTA????? I AM BIHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! RAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Juicy D. jaloomba

WHO SAYS THE SHOWS NOT HYPE??!!????? NOT MEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

T.Yaseen

I want whatever Jabber is on man lmaoo, what a weird ass character😭, need Zanka to get his getback tho

Vextipher

per Steins Gate he's denouncing the intellectual drink of chosen ones for shame.

Vextipher

3:10 X to Doubt lol nah but it was fun comment section and good seeing people you don't normally see comment.

Nigos The Titan

I somehow managed to pick the Renji of this show as my favorite character 😭 nah, Imma invest in Riyo instead

aubrey

BELIEVE IN ZANKA!

Ayoodude

Dude low key Jack might be the most perspective person I’ve ever seen lol “are those hands” how tf can you tell they’re hands and he’s right

Ayoodude

😂😂 them glasses got zoom in feature for sure

aubrey

i fw jabber so hard i love to see absolute freakazoids in these shows man theyre so entertaining

Tyler

Jabber reminds me a lot of Toga

Marcus D

He doesn’t like soup either

Marcus D

Dr Pepper is peak

Jamie

So I have a theory about Jabber. I am wondering if he may not be able to feel true emotion, but the one thing he can feel is pain. Since feeling pain is better than feeling nothing at all, he becomes a masochists. Additionally, when he goes and lays down next to Zonka laughing it seems like Jabber is mimicking the way Zonka’s laughing in an attempt to feel as good/have as much fun a Zonka is appearing to have. Food for thought.

Maeverly

Lmao Zanka got expedited ego death when Hyo entered the picture. Jabber is such a fun villain, absolutely bonkers. Also, pretty sure one of the hands is from that raider who could make mud puppets Zanka fought earlier in the season. Perhaps this was her punishment for failing.

Ingrid Gutierrez

Aw man, next episode is gonna be y’all’s favorite

BH

Where are the comments guys. I don’t wanna get yelled at next episode 😔

Daveeed

I love Zanka for the mediocrity representation.

Allisson Fernando

Happiness is what best describes being here today. Hugs from Brazil. And let's continue our journey because One Piece is real!!!

Skyz

I would've loved for Zanka to pop off but it's refreshing to see a characters backstory and it not translate to a sudden power up.

Zzz Zzz

god the bait and switch with zanka is so toxic but it just makes me more hyped for the final get back

Skyz

Knowing what happens this Arc and Riyo's back story it's kinda crazy she is only 16

Yuki

gonna cmt on EVERY Gachiakuta post. The show is GOODDD

Yuki

Loved Zanka's character design from the beginning, but this episode hit different. Zanka is in my Top10 anime fav characters of all time for sure

Yuki

and I've been watching anime for over 10 years now

Yuki

nobody warned u guys about the titles because it doesnt make any difference. This show's plot is insane, like u cant really guess anything

Law.D.Maris

Zanka backstory💙 expanded his world most definitely

Hegataro

Zanka lost one (1) time and instantly crashed out

Dasha

I’d say jjk/csm, and in terms of world building AOT/Tokyo Ghoul

Henderson C

I never really thought Zanka was dead because he still has the mark from Remlin right? The reduce damage from a fatal attack one.

Isabel Percy

Jabber genuinely one of my fave anime characters, you HAVE to watch the dub just for the scene of him emoting on zanka its so funny man

Isabel Percy

When Black Clovers new szn gets announced for a date PLEASE watch it, you will all love it so much man

lawswater

jabber's dub goes so crazy

Jenny D

I don't think Zanka is dead. I liked his backstory and wonder if that girl will appear again. Curious to see how the other fights pan out

forthwanderer

I like zanka a lot I feel like hes the true underdog of the series. jabber is also cool like hisoka on crack

forthwanderer

this man jabber really just emoted on zanka too the disrespect is real

D-Man

It sucks being a fan of Jabber and Zanka.

ThirtyStik

*King Von Starts Playing Aggressively*

Dasha

Are we getting another episode this week?

Ayoodude

🔥🔥🔥 peak

Tivy

This is one of my favourite episodes of the show fs! I agree with McKay, it’s such a well-written backstory. They keep it simple but so real. Obviously disappointing he’s still out of it and him getting back up was a hallucination, that would’ve been sick, but I’m also glad they didn’t do a typical power-up cliché. Makes the stakes feel higher.

Hanniehae

Don't be a Garp 😭

Sara ˚˖𓍢ִ໋❀

TBF I think it was the humiliation of the stick incident along w/ the realization that even with all the work he puts in, some ppl are just better naturally. Though Enjin is right that a mediocrity can (if they put enough grind in) beat talent
